Green-Eyed People-Pleaser
"There is something you are not telling us," the green eyes glared through the musky, dim-lit darkness.
Amelia let her hair hang around her head, tactfully hiding her slightly smashed com that had kinda annoying white noise coming from it. She was lucky that the green eyes didn't come forward from the darkness, somewhat scared of who those eyes belong to.
They can't be from Alice, Amelia reassured herself for the hundredth time, There's no way her eyes can slit into those things. And she needs glasses. I'd see the glare of those glowing freaks off of her lens a mile away. She can't see without those! And that's not even her voice!
But she knew what voice it sounded like and those eyes reminded her of, It can't be, though. Amelia thought not as reassuringly, It's just can't be, it just can't... she struggled to think of ways to contract her doubts, He...he doesn't even have brown eyes! There's no way it could be him!
"Taking our time, are we," his voice darkened once more. All Amelia could do was sit chained and trapped inside a cold, stone-walled room, with nothing but a failing light overhead, coned so she couldn't see the face out front. She was trapped here for a long time, about a week now. A very interesting budget-cut version of the two-way mirror.
"I...ain't tellin' ya nothin'," Amelia's voice slurred annoyingly. She wanted to sound threatening. Didn't want to have to face those, dare she admit it, terrifying green eyes.
Said eyes stared at her. Silence started to stab her as she glared back. Suddenly, the eyes rose and moved forward. With them, came a pale figure with slicked-back, raven-black hair, pulling out a pair of glasses that he doesn't even need. Though, it does tone the glow down from his eyes. His form was dark and commanding, like some Nazi general who figured out his coffee was make out of dandelions.
But it was worse than that. It was Hitler finding out his fatherland was homosexual. And he looked like all kinds of silent rage. It was like he found Amelia's very existence the exact reason for global warming or something.
He drew a slender, white finger up her chin, lifting her bruised face up, "You know who he is, Miss General," he leaned his face down to hers, "and you also know where he is."
"Who the freak you even talkin' about...?" Amelia spat, unable to look much scary anymore, being at his mercy.
"You know exactly who I'm talking about," the figure growled lowly, "Your founder," he jerked her chin with a firm grip of his bony hand, "Hidekaz Himeyura."
Every fiber in Amelia's body shook. That confirmed something. Not everything but something. This man...she had been denying it the entire time, but this man...! He looked almost exactly like Himeyura. Except for his color scheme...it just looked...wrong.
Wait...his color scheme. It's only his color scheme and personality that was different. And what did they call the enemy of now? The 2p Hetalians. This man is...
"You're...2p Himeyura," Amelia's eyes watered, facing the reality she desperately tried to run from. He looked like Himeyura, but wasn't him, but was somewhat a part of him. But that's impossible! Amelia mentally protested, 2ps don't exist in this world! Besides, if anything, he looks more like a 2p Harry Potter! Like if Voldermort ever got to him!
"Smart child," he clicked his tongue, "better than most of my army."
"If you're," she tried to choke back her tears, "if you dare think about...adding me to your army...well," be blunt, you got no time for insults, "I ain't joinin' you."
"Don't be foolish," he smirked disgustingly, "You're much too headstrong for our regime. I just need to know where our main target is and this entire war is over. Don't you see? We can save both your fandom and world."
"What about all that shoot on makin' a better world for the discriminated?" Amelia snarled hoarsely.
"When he's gone, it'll be that world," he smiled.
"But if he's gone then so are we!" she protested, blood trickling down her mouth, "What was that about saving our fandom and world?!"
"You have no idea what prison of sin you Hetalians have built around yourselves," he whispered defiantly, "such excuses. Saying you're doing much for educational purposes? Don't make me laugh."
Amelia thought for a moment. Then, for some reason, smirked, "Homophobic, much?"
A look of silent rage flashed in his green eyes, "You do not know what kind of hell that is for us."
"Maybe I would if ya stop bein' so dang hypocritical," she felt more confident now, "wanna not be discriminated? Don't discriminate against others. And while ya at it, don't make such a big deal about it, like startin' wars."
He roughly let go of Amelia's chin, jerking her head the other direction, as he back away, furiously raking his hand through his hair.
She whispered on, "How about ya tell me whatcha bein' discriminated for...and maybe we can help you," he gave her a warning glare, probably because he thinks I'm joking with him, "After all, we Hetalians are kinda known for being very accepting."
"...I can't stay," he murmured.
"Where ya goin'?" she tiredly slurred, now almost out of energy to stay awake.
"If he's still here, I cannot stay. You heard yourself say it, I'm his 2p," he glanced back at Amelia, who is diligently trying to stay awake, "we cannot share this world. I will make my own Hetalian fandom here. One that'll not anger anyone else."
"The world doesn't work like that," Amelia mumbled, "If you're a people-pleaser, it get's borin' really fast. They like to see ya fight...for what ya believe in. To show...that ya really mean it. That's why..." her head limps, leftover tears still dripping from her eyes, "...that's why we're fightin' back."
That's the last thing she said before drifting off. Hoshizora didn't know what to do or say to those words. Is that what Hetalians really think? Is that why they're so stubborn, obnoxious, and, well, crazy? At first, he wanted to slap Amelia clear across the face for dare trying to refute what he thought to be his perfect world with Himeyura's influence. But now...
...he wonders if he's really just, as she said, trying to please the people.
