Hinatas POV
"So it was you!" I chased Deidara through the deserted streets.

"Oh Hinata, you always had your suspicions about me, didn't you?" he turned his head, revealing his horrid smirk.

"Well you're not gonna get away from me," I chased after him as he made his way to the top of a ramen shop.

"Catch me if you can!" He called out before picking up him pace.

"Damn it," I cussed under my breath before speeding up, reaching into my pocket and grabbing three kunai.

"You're so predictable," and with that he turned around and skid to a stop. Before I could reacted he smirked and threw a kunai toward me. I jumped away before looking at him with a growl.

"We trusted you!" I threw the first one catching him by surprise. "We protected you!" I threw another. "And you betrayed us!" I threw the final one. He jumped from side to side to dodge them, the only contact they were able to make was a small slit on his cheek. "You were like family!" I shouted, a small tear threatening to escape.

"That just made it easier for me." I stared at him with rage. Just as he went to strike once more, Temari interfered with a slash of her fan.

"Hinata are you okay?" She questioned with out taking her eyes off Deidara.

"You know, you have the best timing." I smiled at my team mate who smirked.

"Yeah well you can thank your instincts for that," she smiled.

"Are you to done catching up or what?" We both turned our attention back to Deidara.

"I know it's hard, Hinata, but you can't let you emotions take hold so easily." Temari was right, I didn't have my head in the game.

"Are we gonna dance or what?" And with that he charged forward, using his own style of Tai against us.

"This isn't working," Temari whispered to myself as she tried blocking him, earning a fist to the stomach.

"You need to go, get help from another member." I dodge another attack before turning my attention of my former friend.

"I can't leave you here... besides they think I'm a possible enemy." Temari looked upset at the thought, and all I could do was whisper a soft word of an apology.

"Go." I threw another blade at Deidara, this one making contact as it stuck into one of his arms.

"Yes, captain." She hurried off but not before Deidara was able to intercept. He threw out one of his own hand made weapons towards her, a form of explosive clay that activates on impact.

"Temari!" I called out as I rushed towards her. It was too late for her to dodge, and the only thing I could do was take the hit.

"Hinata..." she tried to catch me before I fell, my hand just slipping out of reach as I plummeted. The air in my lungs felt as if they were forced out once I hit the hard, cold concrete. My vision dazed in and out for a few moments, stealing glimpses of Temari jumping between the roof tops as another figure chased her.

"Hinata!" A voice called, pulling me out of my gaze as I sat up, inhaling the stale night air.

"N-Naruto-kun?" I stuttered.

"What the hell happened to you?!" I watched in agony as he searched my body, the horror on his face tell me I don't look good.

"I... a mugger... I couldn't," I lied as his had reached out and held my cheek.

"I have to call an ambulance." He whispered, making a grab for his phone.

"No," I grabbed his wrist and looked him in the eyes. "I-I'm okay, I'll be fine so you can go."

I tried standing up, to prove that I was fine but I couldn't. The nausea I felt was over powering, my mind going fussy as I fell back into Narutos arms.

"Like fuck I'm leaving you here like this." His voice was stern and he posture strong, making me want to stand down immediately.

"No, Naruto-kun, I don't want... if I went to the hospital, I was miss out on school tomorrow and then the police will have to be involved." And my department will be involved more than they have to be, I thought about all the trouble this would cause.

"Hinata, you are going to the hospital... don't worry, I'll take care of you." And that was the last thing I heard before I was dragged into a dark abyss.

So it's been a while since I last updated and I wouldn't be surprised if you've forgotten what has happened so far, I'm planning on going back and editing some of it away so the story so far may change slightly (hopefully for the better).
