Chapter 2

Sorry for the mistakes!

"Nicole, are you alright? You look a little pale? Is it by any chance because you are going to earth?" Father time asked his daughter who nodded.

"I'm scared father. Mother died when she went to that awful planet. Are you sure I have to go?" The snow queen questioned her father leaning on the railing for her balcony. The night was silent as it has been for the past few months.

Lady Paige is missing in action...Nicole thought staring out into darkness.

"I can not delay this any longer. You are a legend and it is your duty to care for and protect the people even if that means leaving them behind. You have to find this person and bring him back here. I know it's hard but you have to try" father time paused waiting for a response.

"Is he going to be there?" Her voice was soft. She was scared. Scared to visit her mother's death place, scared of letting everyone done and scared of herself. She barely has any control over her powers. One out of place move and there gone.

"I'm afraid so. Nicole it's been years. Your brother would be delighted to see you. Even if he's not a God. He's immortal right? So what if you've had a few disagreements. Your not going to be alone....." was a long sigh the Goddess looked at her father.

"I will go. It's selfish of me to allow my followers to decrease while I have a way to stop it. But please father. I can't complete what you have asked me in the span of one earth month. I need more time" the pleaded. The wrinkled man smiled. With his scraggly white beard and a coat that covered his body. He stood with only the support of his cane.

"Time is on your side my daughter. You are the daughter of time" his form changed. He was now youthful. With large brown eyes and short black hair he patted his daughter on the back. Father time a man that lives outside time.

"I know this father" she paused sighing. There was no use complaining with a man you can see the future, past and present. "I have to go. But may I ask this? Where will we be staying?"

"At Blackwood hotel. Beware of the teenagers though. When you go you will take the form of anyone you choose. I suggest youth. So you don't get bullied" with a laugh she nodded although she understood nothing.

"Good night father and goodbye"

Paige stood watching the clustered silhouettes of the people busily occupy the street. Young women rushed down the streets accompanied by there partner or friends.  She was particularly fond of a group of teens who seemed to be watching her intently.

With one sip of her coffee she winked at the eldest. Joseph his name was. The blonde haired football player. She had recognized him from her earlier visit. I doubt he remembers me....she thought focusing her attention on her drink.

Or maybe he does! She tried not to get her hopes high but it was too late. Her emotions were everywhere. She was excited to meet her childhood friend but also scared that he would reject her. After all when the met she had taken the form of a seven year old girl.

Paige had decided it would be best to leave it alone. She was here to find the chosen not to mingle with mortal. Her face shifted into one of disgust. The princess mingling with mortals! What a story! She thought smiling to herself.

With her long purple hair and bright violet eyes the princess smiled to herself. It would be nice to see him again- but I will come on my own terms! She muted that thought and decided to focus on the task at hand.

How is she going to find this mortal?

Joseph Smith stared at the window of the café curiously. He had sworn he had seen his dear friend Amber. He was almost certain that bright purple hair could belong to no one else.

His sister Madison tugged on his shirt signaling him to follow her. She was mute but that didn't bring her down she was still the happiest seven year old you could find. With vibrant red hair and large green eyes. You could spot her form a mile away.

"Oh Madison what will I do with you. Come on we'll get some pastries form the café and I can get you some hot chocolate! How does that sound my little munchkin?" With a grinned she nodded tugging on his shirt even harder.

"Okay okay! I'm coming God! So fussy" she poked her tongue out at his still smiling. It was true. Joseph would do anything for her little sister and she would do anything for him.

"Paul! Robert! I'll see you at school tomorrow" his friends grinned waving at him. This was his life and he wouldn't change it for anything.

Nicole had finally placed her things down on her bed. She was here on earth. It was different form when she last saw it. It wasn't it's normal lifeless self. Instead of people rushing to get home while the sun was still out she could see cars sped pass. Youths prancing around like it was some kind of game.

She felt alien like this. She knew nothing of the current times. Where she came form Gods  were in charge. They held feast on top of feasts. Arson would hold wine drinking contest seeing which God could out do the other. She missed her luxurious life but she couldn't think about that now. There was work to do.

Naahil her brother. The son of time knew she was coming he could sense her power once she entered the atmosphere. It felt chilly. In early summer it felt chilly? He laughed at the thought only my little sister paying me a visit.

"Eric?" He asked the was a long paused then an exaggerated sigh. The God of Thunder hated being woken. He was the king of all Gods. But even him had to bow down to quite a few persons.

"What a legend you are. The great God of Thunder......asleep in my couch? I should tell Kate I'm sure she would be egear to find out her husband was slacking off" Eric groaned. His eyes were droppy, no doubt for the excessive amount of alcohol he consumed. His hair was messy his suit lazily unbuttoned. You would think twice about this man being a king.

"What do you want? Must you bother me so much Katelyn. I want to eat grapes mother " the king slurred his breath wreaked of alcohol.

"Just make sure to tide yourself before you leave. And please fix your shirt"
