I'm gonna try something new and have the controlled characters to act more differently in the field.

Example: Amiya would usually be cautious and stick to her comrades while Lin would do something different.

You get what i mean.

The screen began with the Rhodes island emblem popping up, although it didn't have Amiya's name under it. As it was put into the top left corner, it shows the AC-130 and the Chinooks leaving Ursus.

The satellite then shifts to Sargon as the Rhodes Island emblem was replaced with the YMC emblem with Lin's name under it.

"I was right. We are going back to Sargon." Ch'en stated.

"Wonder how the assault on Drudge's nation is going?" Swire wondered.

"Well let's wait and see." Hoshiguma said.

When the emblem was put to the top left corner as usual, the satellite starts to scan into a city that wasn't where Lin and her squad were.

When it zooms in to the city, a female Yanese news reporter spoke up. "Heavy fighting continued throughout the night as Yanese Marines continued to push towards the capital city in pursuit of Drudge Tulla."

As she was saying that, several screens pop up in the middle containing two video feeds of the battle and a few images containing some transparent buildings along with two mugshots of Drudge himself.

The first video feed shows a Yanese marine firing his T75 LMG into some unseen OpFor soldiers. The second video feed shows Yanese marines moving up on a hallway, clearing room to room for any enemies.

"I say they're doing pretty well." Blaze said.

"Guess they are one step closer to kill Drudge and win this war." Bagpipe followed.

"It's surprising that they have not surrendered yet." Dobermann commented.

"Sporadic fighting can be heard as the bulk of Tulla's forces fall back towards the Presidential Palace." The news reporter continued as the Satellite then shifted to another location, scanning where Lin and the others were.

"Still the same day, huh?" Closure pointed out since this was still the third day of the conflict. "They really are rushing in this war."

"The quicker the war, the lesser the soldiers and the nations would suffer. It's best not to prolong a war to months or even a year. It would increase the death toll of both sides." Hellagur states, getting some nods of agreement.

The screen then shows the transparent image of the Type 99 tank callsign "War pig" in an overhead view. Swire then spoke up. "Command, this is Lieutenant Schwire. War pig is en route. We're not missing this party."

The image then zoomed in as the audience gets a close-up look on the Type 99 tank along with the background and the details of it. It first showed them the front of the tank as the inscriptions were written out.

The screen then shifted to the side of the tank, showing the crew inside of it. One of them being similar to how Bison looks with the Forte horns on his head. The other two crew members were shown to be a Zalak and a Cautus. Both are female.

The operators and the R.I leaders observed the vehicle with great interests.

"That's a nice vehicle." Bagpipe said.

"It looks pretty intimidating." Fang added.

"That thing costs 4.5 to 6 million LMD?!" Swire said in disbelief. "That's so expensive!"

"It's armor seems strong." Castle-3 observed.

"That tank looks very powerful." Kroos commented at the sight along with its weapons.

"I mean, it did survive against various RPG rockets from the last mission with the Marines." Vulcan stated.

"And it has all of those sweet looking weapons. It might be the strongest tank this universe has offered." Sesa said.

"Stronger than the BMPs and those other tanks we saw?" Adnachiel asked.

"You betcha."

Meanwhile, the operators that are part of the military or have some experience of it - wondered if something like this could be possible to make and added for armies to use.

It would give them an advantage in armored warfare as of how strong and tanky they are, hence the name for the latter.

Maybe it could also be use to quell protests.

Though getting the weapons would be a bit difficult to manage. Especially the machine guns.

"This universe had surprised me yet again." Doctor spoke up while observing the Type 99 tank. "They...they really step up in military technology."

"With those weapons, we could have the advantage against the demons of the north." Hellagur commented, seeing that Tanks would be pretty good for Ursus to use at the Northern fronts.

"And maybe other fronts beneath the civilized world." Amiya added.

"It still won't do well against the Seaborns." Kal'tsit stated.

"What makes you say that, Doctor?" Folinic asked.

"Since the seaborns live in the vast oceans, these Tanks won't do that much of a damage to them unless they are all in land. But then again, the Tanks would be overwhelmed by the Seaborns' overwhelming numbers." The lynx explained.

"Well what about ships?" Closure asked.

"You heard of what happened to the Stultifera Navis?"

"Oh, right..."

Doctor let out a sigh. "I just hope they won't be a major problem to us in the future."

"As long as the Abyssal hunters and the Iberian inquisition are keeping them at bay, Terra would live on." Amiya said.

After showcasing the Tank, the screen then descends down to Lin's point of view. As it was going down, gunfire was already heard, indicating that Lin is in the middle of a battle.

When the camera was put into Lin's perspective, she was seen crouching down behind a broken down car. Beside her was Massey - the Perro marine that had been with her since the invasion. He was taking cover from the gunfire while firing back at the hostiles with his assault rifle.

Some of the audience begin to notice his rank, which was Sergeant, much like Lin.

Massey then turned to Lin and shouted. "Yuhsia! Get your ass on the line now! We've got hostiles moving in from the north!"

"Has she been sleeping through the battlefield?" Ch'en said in disbelief.

Swire replied with a chuckle. "Probably."

Obliging, Lin grabbed her T91 rifle with the same attachments that is the Holographic sight and the grenade launcher. She then got up and look over the battlefield.

The audience notice that they were still in the same area where "The Bog" takes place. Though this time the Type 99 tank wasn't stuck anymore as it was seen moving into the road.

However, there were a lot of hostiles from the opposite side as they are firing at the marines. Taking aim, Lin manage to kill two incoming OpFors.

As she was firing at the hostiles, Bison spoke up from the tank. "Bravo Six we're clear of the Bog, thanks for the assist. We'll hold down the left flank and provide supporting fire, out."

"Alright, the tank is now getting some action." Blaze said.

"Though they have to watch out for any incoming RPG rockets." Vulcan replied.

"I'm sure they can take them all." W remarked, while waiting and hoping that they're gonna use the main gun of the tank and see the explosion.

Lin decide to move up to the battlefield. On her right, she saw Gaines, Swire, and Lopez proning down on the ground as the trio return fire to the OpFors.

She look to her left and saw Hoshiguma and Roycewicz by the barrels, doing the same thing as everyone is doing.

Lin then move up to the field while seeing a few more marines infront. Suddenly they were caught in the blast zone of mortar fire, killing them.

"Woah, what was that?" Cardigan asked.

"Mortars." Dobermann answered, cursing a bit. "Looks like the OpFors are having more firepower."

"Well, the Marines still have the tank. I doubt the mortars would even scratch it." Sesa said.

Seeing this, the rest of the marines move up to the field to avoid the mortars. Meanwhile Lin crouched down behind the mountain of debris in the middle of the field. She turned to her right and quickly took down two nearby OpFor soldiers.

She slowly climb up the mountain and look over the opposing side. Lots of OpFors were gathered by the bus, most of them were in the said vehicle and fired at the marines by the windows.

Lin equipped her grenade launcher and fire a few rounds to the enemy. It manage to kill a few, but most were protected by the cover of the bus, or smart enough to move away from her crosshairs. Lin had to duck back down when she was under fire.

She look back to the right and saw Lopez and Gaines taking cover by the cinder block. The latter then turned to Lin and give her a head gesture to the OpFor's side.

Most of the operators don't know what he's referring to, but some already knew what he's saying to Lin.

"What is he doing?" Lava asks

"I think he's trying to tell Lin that they're gonna flank em from the right side." Fang respond

"You got it right." Blaze chimed in.

"But why can't he just say it out loud?" Lancet-2 asks.

Dylan agreed. "Yeah, i wouldn't really understand what they would mean with those gestures."

"When you're in the battlefield, the sound of warfare would drown out your call-outs." Ch'en explained. "And also, the enemy would have an advantage and knows what you're planning."

"Ah, i see." Kroos acknowledged along with the rest of the ops that asked.

Obliging of what he meant, Lin and Gaines went out of cover and make a dash to the OpFors' side.

Swire, Hoshiguma, and the other marines give them suppressing fire, distracting most of the OpFors to focus on Lin and Gaines. Both of them then took cover behind one of the cinder blocks with the Green-haired Liberi prone down behind it.

Lin stood up and threw a flashbang. When it exploded, she fired her rifle to the OpFors.

She manage to kill atleast three of them by the bus. When she was out of ammo, she switched to her T75 pistol and took out one of them that was near a cargo container.

As Lin was switching back to her rifle and reloading it, two Ursine-made Helis appeared on the corner of her eye. They must be enemy reinforcements.

She wasn't the only one to notice the choppers as Gaines shout out. "Enemy air assault! Get ready! They're moving on both our flanks!"

"Doesn't look good." Bagpipe said.

"Those helicopters are flying a bit too close to the battlefield, though." Noir corne pointed out.

"All they need to do is find an RPG or something to take them out." Spot said.

"Or they could use the tank." W suggested, smiling to see the action.

"In my opinion, it would be a waste of ammo." Vulcan said.

Swire then spoke up. "Find and grab an RPG and take out those choppers!"

Lin stood back up and searched for any RPGs from the OpFors' side. Lucky for her, there were atleast two of them leaning behind one of the containers. With that, Lin got out of cover and ran towards the RPGs.

Before heading to the RPGs, Lin glanced to the side of the bus and saw atleast two mortar crews firing at the marines. Knowing that they're a problem, she had to take care of them aswell.

Cooking a grenade, Lin then threw it to the mortar crew as it then explodes on impact, killing them all.

"That's one less loose end." Swire said.

"What?" Closure raised her eyebrow.

"I think she means that the mortar problem is done, but those two helicopters are still a problem to deal with for the Marines." Hoshiguma pointed out.

Lin saw that the helicopters are starting to drop off the soldiers, so she sprinted to the RPGs. When she made it there, she switched her pistol with one of the launchers.

When she turned to the corner to take down the choppers, a lone OpFor soldier suddenly appeared and tried to melee her, whilst getting some scares from the audience.

Lin swiftly dodge it and returned the favor by sending a knife to his chest.

"Sometimes i hate jumpscares like that..." Liskarm said.

"Yep yep." Franka replied in agreement.

When that was done, she shifted to the choppers. One of them was already leaving the scene, but the other chopper was about to drop off their soldiers.

Crouching down, she aimed at the said chopper before firing the RPG rocket as it hit the main body of the aircraft, obliterating it and killing all the soldiers inside.

"Beautiful..." W simply said. "It's a shame she wasn't able to take out the second one."

"Atleast she took out half of the enemies." Ch'en remarked.

"Yeah but they are gonna worry of the extra reinforcements." Barty said.

Lin switched the RPG back to her pistol as she join up with the rest of the marines. She saw Gaines, Roycewicz, and Massey taking care of the OpFors by the bus.

Lin was then under fire by the OpFor reinforcements as she had to take cover behind the bus. 

"Right flaaaank! They're moving in on the right flank!" Roycewicz shouted.

Lin switched to her grenade launcher attachment and fired a round at the large group of enemies, killing atleast three of them. Going back to rifle mode, she aim down her sights and killed one more.

Lin and the others move up to the road where there were still a handful of OpFors left. They were quickly dealt with, though Lin then spotted a lone OpFor trying to flank them.

She put a few bullets to his leg, which cause him to fall down to the ground. When the OpFor tried to crawl away, the audience noticed that he was in War pig's path, the latter moving up towards him.

The OpFor didn't get a chance to escape as he was crushed by the treads of the tank. His bloodcurdling scream was quickly cut off when his entire body was crushed. The audience could also hear some crunching noises from the bones.

Almost all of the audience reacted in total shock, even those who loves violence like W. Amiya covered her mouth with both of her hands in shock after witnessing the death.

Blaze, one of the ops that wanted the OpFors to pay, even felt pity against that man. Sure he was one of the bad guys, but he doesn't deserve a death like that.

Those that wore masks or visors may not look like they were shocked, but with their body movements they are. Dylan had even fainted from that death, with Chard trying to wake him up.

"Holy shit..." Midnight was the first to spoke up.

"Yeah, holy shit indeed." Spot agreed while trying to comfort a shivering Popukar. He may have covered her eyes when the enemy soldier was about to get crushed, but the sounds of his bones breaking was enough to startle her.

"That wasn't right." Amiya said.

"He didn't deserve that." Folinic followed.

"Yeah, I agree." W joined in, which surprised most of the operators. "What? Look, I may love explosions and killing people with them, but I also have some standards."

"Well i say that is one of the worst ways to die." Blaze remarked, getting some agreements from the rest."

"Did Dylan just pass out?" Noir corne asked when he turned to Chard.

"Yeah, he did." Chard replied before turning back to the pilot. "Wake up, ya fool!"

"Maybe i can help with that." Lancet-2 said, making her way over to them while the rest of the ops stare back to the screen.

After witness that gruesome death, War pig then turned left to an entrance that goes in to the town. Some of the audience remembered that place was blocked off when Lin was going to destroy the ZPU.

Now the road was clear with a single pick up truck blocking the way. That didn't stop the Type 99 though as the tank simply move forward whilst crushing the Jeep like it did with the OpFor soldier.

Lin and the rest of the marines catch up to the tank as more hostiles were seen by the buildings.

"Uh, Bravo Six, possible ambush area up front. We'll uh- We'll move up when you've cleared the area ahead of us, over." Bison said from the tank.

"Is there a reason why?" Fang asked, knowing that the Tank could withstand any gunfire.

"I think it's because they would be vulnerable to any high explosives from the OpFors." Liskarm said. "Even if RPGs won't do much, they can still use det-packs."

Hellagur nodded in agreement. "Indeed. By the looks of it, these 'Tanks' may seem strong, but Infantries would still find a way to destroy it, making it vulnerable if it were to be alone. Especially when you're in an urban area."

"Watch for silhouettes on the rooftops!" Swire spoke up.

Lin then look up to the roof of the buildings that were next to the tank and saw atleast three hostiles with RPGs, aiming down at the tank.

She aimed her rifle and killed them all before they even manage to damage the tank.

"See?" Hellagur spoke up. "If the Tank was on it's own, those RPG enemies would've damaged the tank and even destroy it."

"But doesn't that make the Tank...obsolete?" Kroos asked.

"Kroos, anything can be obsolete." Dobermann states. "Drones can be obsolete, Helicopters can be obsolete, even infantries can be obsolete. It depends on how you use and manage them. You do it right, then they are useful for combat."

"Or if the enemy has something to counter them. But otherwise, they're still useful." Liskarm added.

"Like they always say; 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.'." Franka chimed in.

After taking care of the RPGs, Lin hears Bison speaking up again. "Marines stand clear. We're gonna get some rounds into those buildings!" He informed as the barrel of the tank was seen moving.

Lin head over to a cinder wall with Hoshiguma beside her. The Oni peek out and let out bursts of fire from her T75 machine gun, killing some OpFors.

She then hear two Yanese fighter jets making a fly by above them. Most of the audience still had to cover their ears due to how loud it was.

"Gunner! Two story building at 1 o'clock, second floor!" Bison informed to one of his crew members in the tank.

Lin could then see the barrel moving towards the building it was targeting.

W anticipated for this to happen and is waiting for the shot.

"Targetacquired." said a female voice by the tank in a quick pace.

"Fire!" Bison shouts.

The tank then fired a round to the windows of the building, killing any OpFors that were in their line of shot.

"Haha! That was amazing, do it again!" W exclaimed.

"Hang on, was that Shaw?" Doctor recalled when they heard Shaw's voice in the tank.

"I think it is." Amiya said.

"She went from a fire fighter to a tank operator? That's a helluva promotion." Closure chuckled.

Even though they shot the windows, some of the OpFors were still alive from the blast, continuing to fire at the marines. Lin knew she had to flank them from the inside.

She abandoned her current position and went a safe path behind the tank towards the building. While that was happening, War pig was targeting the same building.

"Gunner! Two story building at 1 o'clock! Ground floor!" Bison ordered.

"Targetacquired." Shaw said, aiming the barrel to the building.

"Fire!"

The tank then fire another round. Though since Lin was standing beside it, the shot cause her ears to ring for a few seconds, drowning any of the gunfire happening.

"Nggh..." Popukar whined whilst covering her ears from the loud ringing. "So loud."

"Good thing I'm not a cautus like you." Catapult chuckled, which earned a hard smack to the back of her head by Spot.

Recovering from the ringing, Lin continued on to the building. Good news for her, War pig manage to create a hole in the wall which allows her to enter the building through the stairs.

Before heading to the stairs, she shifted left to see a lot of OpFors firing at her comrades. Lin equipped her grenade launcher and fire a round at a group of enemies in the left building.

After that she switched to rifle mode and took out two more. She then saw War pig targeting the building.

"Gunner! Three story building at 11 o'clock, ground floor!"

"Targetacquired."

"Fire!"

War pig fired a shot to the building, killing all of the OpFor occupants. With that out of the way, Lin went to the stairs to take care of the survivors.

"I wonder how many ammo does the tank have?" Adnachiel asked.

"Hopefully enough to finish the mission." Melantha said.

When Lin made it upstairs, she saw that the door infront of her was shut closed. Knowing that there's an enemy infront of it, she sprayed through the door. Moments later, it opened as a dead body fell to the floor.

Realizing that she used up her ammo, Lin took out her pistol and rushed into the room. There she saw two OpFors by the balcony. They weren't able to fire at her as Lin took them out quickly with her pistol.

Turning back around to check the other room, she saw Massey and another marine stacking up to the door. The former threw a flashbang as they both went in with Lin catching up. Massey fired a few shots to the room.

Suddenly the marine that was behind him was gunned down from the side. Lin look over and saw a lone OpFor hiding at the closet. She spammed the trigger of her pistol as the OpFor lay dead.

"Clear." Massey said before heading back down. Lin reloaded both of her weapons as she catch up with him.

"Man why is that rat itching to kill those enemies on her own?" Swire said. "She could've died right there."

"Maybe she just wants the glory." Ch'en remarked which earned a snicker from the tiger.

As the two head down, War pig fired another shot on the same three story building by their "12:30". They manage to kill atleast three OpFors, one of them being a machine gunner.

The rest of the marines were clearing the buildings. Lin saw Lopez, Gaines, and Roycewicz clearing the three story building with two more marines by their tow. Seeing that the building was taken care of, she focused on to the main street to clear a path for War pig.

"Bravo six, we're moving up." Bison said.

"Roger that." Swire replied.

Lin look back to the Type 99 as it was moving up to the street. Though only for a moment as it then stops after about a few meters.

"I thought they would go further." Beehunter said.

"There is still a lot of enemies up ahead. Best to not risk the tank of getting destroyed." Kal'tsit stated.

Lin then move up to the street while Massey and Swire went into the building they were in from the other door near the stairs.

She saw a few OpFors rushing out of cover to their position. A grave mistake since they were gunned down by War Pig's machine guns.

When the streets were clear, Lin went to a nearby wall and poke her head out to the curved path. She saw more of those hostiles that are gathering around the intact buildings whilst firing at the marines.

They manage to kill atleast two of them.

Waiting for about half a minute, she thought of a pretty jackass idea that the audience didn't expect. She aimlessly threw a grenade to the OpFors before taking out her pistol and ran across the street to the next building infront of her.

She got shot a few times by the OpFors, but she successfully reached her destination and immediately took cover behind a table of watermelons.

The lungmenites were stunned at that reckless action. They could not believe they just saw Lin running across the firefight like a headless chicken, and with sheer luck, manage to survive with only getting a few hits on her armor and helmet.

"Okay, i may not have said this about her that often, but that was such a stupid move!" Swire exclaimed.

"Yeah, i agree." Hoshiguma gave her a nod. "She didn't have a shield and could've died right there."

"Yet somehow she managed to survive and avoid most of the gunfire with sheer luck or plot armor or something." Ch'en remarked.

"Definitely the latter." Spot spoke up.

Taking a minute break after that run, Lin stood back up to fight. As she got up, she heard Bison from the tank talking to the radio.

"Bravo Six this is War Pig, we clear to uh...uh we clear to advance, over?" He asked.

Swire responded. "Roger that! Move up and hold position at the bend, over!"

"Roger, movin'." Bison replied.

Lin could see the tank moving up to the street and into the bend of the street. They were followed with the rest of the marines as she could see Hoshiguma making her way to where she was.

Roycewicz, Gaines, and Lopez went out of the building and catch up to them aswell. Though the two marines that were with them weren't present, implying that they might've died back there.

Turning back to the fight, Lin move up to the wall and engage the enemies. Most of them were cooped up in the buildings, with a few being exposed to the balconies in which were taken care of by War Pig's main gun.

The enemies were launched back to the ground, dead. With that, the Marines continue to advance further into the street.

"They can't even stop that thing." Sesa said with a smile.

"Payback just keeps getting better." Blaze smiled aswell.

Lin then gathered with Lopez and Roycewicz in one of the damaged walls as they open fire at the OpFors by the market infront of them.

The OpFors appeared in large numbers and all are firing at the squad. Lin then saw Hoshiguma readying her Machine gun. Knowing what she's about to do, Lin assisted her by throwing a flashbang, with Roycewicz doing the same.

When two of the flashbang exploded and blinded the enemies, Hoshiguma set down the bipod of her LMG as she begin to spray lots of bullets to the incapacitated OpFors, killing them all.

"You're really stealing all the kills here, Hoshiguma." Swire commented.

"If it bothers you that much, then I'm sorry." Hoshiguma replied.

"Eh, no need. She's not you, anyway."

"Technically, yes. Since that is her alternate self." Ch'en said.

Meanwhile, Dylan finally recovered and asked. "What happened?"

"You fainted." Barty simply said.

"Oh, i did?" His cheeks went red in embarrassment.

"It's fine, Mister Dylan. I helped you with it." Lancet-2 said.

"Thanks. So what did i miss?"

"The tank move up to the town, the marines killed lots of OpFors, and that Lin girl had committed jackass and ran across the gunfire." Chard elaborated.

"Wow, i guess i missed a lot."

"Yeah, if you haven't fainted like a little bitch, you could've witnessed it." Dylan gave a grumble at Chard as he stare back to the screen.

As Hoshiguma was taking care of the OpFors by that building, Lin turn to her right and saw Massey and Swire exchanging fire to the OpFors by the second building.

Seeing that they needed help, Lin did another jackass move by taking out her pistol and running across the street amongst the gunfire.

With another sheer pot of luck or heavy plot armor, Lin dodge all of the shots and made it to the other side safely.

"Okay, why is she so reckless?!" Swire said in an annoyed tone

"And how is she that lucky?" Ch'en added.

"Those aside, she is pretty fast." Closure commented.

"It does make sense how she's able to dodge those bullets pretty quick." Doctor said.

"Yeah, but bullets and arrows are different. The former being nearly hard to dodge from the looks of it." Liskarm states.

Lin regrouped with Massey and Swire as she then turned towards the building where the OpFor were. There was a door that leads inside, but of course it was occupied by two OpFor soldiers.

Lin quickly solve this little issue by using her M203 and kill the two OpFors guarding the door. With a quick pace, the pink-haired Zalak stack up to the door as she could hear several more OpFors in the room.

She took out her 3rd Flashbang and threw it inside. When the nade exploded, Lin rushed in and took care of the blinded enemies. There were about five enemies in the room as Lin killed three of them with her rifle.

When her rifle was out, she took out her pistol and killed the fourth enemy as she then rushed to the final enemy and sliced his throat with her knife.

"Wow, she is rushing in for the kills. Like a competitive sweaty player." Spot commented.

"Looks like it." Noir chuckled.

"What does he mean by that?" Rangers asked.

"You'll know better when you play some online games, gramps." The masked oni replied.

After clearing the room, she head over the stairs. Gunfire were heard up there, indicating that there are still some OpFors she hasn't killed.

When she climb up the stairs, an OpFor was waiting for her by the end. However Lin was fast enough to shoot him down with her rifle.

She briefly turn around to see Massey and another marine going up the stairs with her. The trio then stepped to the second floor as Lin shifted to her left and killed an OpFor.

Since there were two rooms, Lin and Massey split up with the former taking the room where she killed the OpFor.

When she reached the room, she saw two OpFors near the balcony - both firing at the marines from below and were unaware that she entered the room and killed one of their comrades.

"How the hell have they not noticed their area has been breached?" Ch'en asked.

"Maybe they were distracted firing at the marines down there." Amiya said.

"And from all the gunfire that is happening, they probably didn't hear Lin's own weapon firing." Hoshiguma added.

Lin took aim and swiftly killed those two OpFors to the head. She then head over to the balcony and overlook the battlefield.

Some of the OpFors retreated from the battle with a few holding their ground. Lin saw atleast two of them at the second entrance door of the first building.

She quickly took care of them with her M203 and move out of the balcony to let the rest of the marines deal with them. She regrouped with Massey and the other marine as the three of them head down the stairs.

Walking out of the now cleared building, Lin saw the marines heading up to the last building that housed plenty of OpFors. They got them pinned down as the enemy forces try to hold them off.

"Looks like they got them cooped up in that building." Beehunter said.

"Like chickens." Blaze snickered.

Lin saw about three OpFors firing from the second floor. Taking aim, she took out two of them as the last enemy was killed by Swire.

Meanwhile the enemies by the ground floor were being mowed down by Hoshiguma's lmg. Some of the OpFors tried to get out and kill them up close, but that proved to be an idiotic tactic as they got gunned down immediately.

Lin then threw a frag grenade to the entrance door and to the window. Shouts were heard as two of the nades exploded, killing a good chunk of the OpFors.

A few seconds later, the gunfire from the OpFors' side had ceased. The marines took out all of them in the ground floor.

"Nice. They took them all out." Barty said.

"I don't think so." Dobermann doubted. "There were still a few more by the second floor and they haven't come out yet after the marines cleared the ground floor."

"Then they must be hiding." Castle-3 responded.

"Not a good idea, really." Closure said.

The marines begin to pour in to the building. Swire took point followed by Lin, Massey, and Roycewicz. Hoshiguma, Lopez, Gaines, and two other marines catch up to them.

The former squad look around the ground floor in search of any hostiles. Fortunately there wasn't.

"Hoshiguma, keep em' pinned down from here. Bravo - head out back and flank 'em from the right." Swire ordered to the Oni and the rest of the marines.

Lin then sees Hoshiguma stacking up to the windows of the living room along with Massey and the other two marines.

"They're pulling back! Stay sharp - it could be a trap!" Hoshiguma said.

"So the OpFors are retreating?" Doctor asked. "I wonder why?"

"Maybe they are preparing for one final attack?" Amiya questioned.

"Or they might've found something to counter the marines." Kal'tsit said.

Meanwhile, Swire went to the back door along with Lopez and Gaines. Lin was about to go with them until she turned to the set of stairs.

Thinking that there must be surviving OpFors, she went upstairs accompanied with Roycewicz behind her.

"Atleast she won't be alone." Swire commented about Roycewicz following her.

"The more guns the better." Franka said.

When Lin went upstairs, the door in front of her slammed shut. Like last time, she sprayed the door with half of her mag as the body of an OpFor soldier slide out of it.

More gunfire erupted inside as Lin took cover near the door. She then took out her last flashbang and throw it in. When it exploded, she rushed inside.

Three enemies were present as Lin focus fire on two of them, killing them with ease. She was about to take out the last one, but he was already dealt with by Roycewicz.

"Clear. Let's move." He said as he went back downstairs with Lin following suit.

"Bet the rat felt upset that Roycewicz stole her last kill." Swire smirked.

"How can you say that?" Hoshiguma asked.

"Well the way she had acted throughout the mission proves she wanted to kill the OpFors all by herself."

"I get what she is doing, but teamwork is still important." Dobermann stated, getting some nods of agreement.

When Lin was about to leave, she looked to her right and saw a glimpse of a weapon in a table. Curious, she head over to the said table and saw that it was a pistol.

The pistol was the M1911 .45, the same pistol that Amiya used in Hunted. The pistol also has a good amount of ammo mags beside it.

Interested, Lin switched her T75 pistol with the M1911 as she then left the room.

(A/N: I add this little scene so that it would make sense on how the player is equipped with an M1911 in Shock and Awe, even though in the previous mission - the pistol they used was the M9 Beretta)

"Did she just switched her pistol with that old looking one?" Spot said, confused of Lin's action.

"Well it's still a pistol." Catapult replied.

"Well what good would it be when you have more high-tech weapons than that piece of scrap?"

"Kill any enemies." Vulcan simply said to the Rebbah.

"And it would still pack a punch." Franka added.

"Plume also said that some people in Laterano used weapons that looked pretty old, but still useful as a gun." Fang stated.

Lin head downstairs as she and Roycewicz went to the back door. Gunfire was already heard, indicating that Swire, Lopez, and Gaines had engaged with the OpFors stationed there.

When Lin and Roycewicz got out, the audience noticed that the door had led them to a parking lot which is filled with cars in rows.

Swire, Gaines, and Lopez were exchanging fire to the OpFors by the opposite side of the parking lot, however there were two more by the windows that are barricaded with wood and they were using machine guns, which are giving the marines a hard time to proceed.

Lin peek out of cover behind the dumpster as she put a few bullets on two of the OpFors by the parking lot. Though she had to duck back down when the machine gunners had their sights on her.

"What the hell are they gonna do now?" Folinic asked.

"I think Swire's got an idea." Ch'en pointed out to MW Swire trying to push the dumpster forward.

"I don't know what idea I'm doing that involves pushing a- oh, wait i got it now." Swire said.

"What is it?" Lava asked.

Steward answered. "I think she wants to push the dumpster forward so that the marines can push forward while avoiding the machine gunners."

"Ah, smart idea." Popukar said with a smile.

Swire tried her best to push the dumpster by herself, but it won't budge. Luckily for her, Lopez came for her assistance as the two begin to push the dumpster forward to the parking lot.

Seeing this, Lin stuck behind the two while giving them cover fire by the OpFors from the ground. The machine gunners tried to fire at them, but the dumpster is tanking all the bullets.

Swire and Lopez stopped pushing and return fire at the OpFors. Lin then equipped her M203 as she aimed it towards the machine gunners by the windows.

Thanks to Swire and Lopez for pushing the dumpster, Lin is close enough to take out the machine gunners with her M203. And so she did.

Firing a shot, the grenade exploded between the windows by the door as the explosion knock back the machine gunners, possibly killing them.

With that taken care of, the marines focused on the remaining OpFors by the parking lot, in which they swiftly took out with no problems. After that, they head towards the door of the building.

Lin, Swire, and Gaines stack up to the left side as Lopez and Roycewicz went to the right. Swire went ahead and kick the door open. 

"Breaching! Breaching!" Gaines shouted as he went in first with Lin behind him. 

The five marines then run up the stairs and to the run downed hallway. Infront of them was the room where the machine gunners resided. The audience saw that one of them survived, albeit bleeding badly to the ground.

Seeing this, Lin put him out of his misery by shooting him to the head.

"She did the right thing." Hellagur said.

"He won't suffer no longer." Greythroat replied.

"I would pity him, but he was also part of an army that killed innocent civilians and took over a country." Blaze said.

"Well, not everyone there is a bad apple." Liskarm said as she clarified. "Who knows that man could be a conscript that was forced into the army after Drudge's coup."

This shifted Blaze's opinion on the OpFors a bit. "Huh, now that i think of it, it could be possible. But that also means that Drudge must be brought to justice once and for all."

"He will once we win this war and capture him." Swire said with a proud smile.

After taking care of the wounded man, Lin glanced to the door next to her. Gaines had already went in, so it was her turn.

Though when she reached the door, the Green-haired Liberi stopped her as he said. "Hold right here! Enemy tank comin' up the road!"

"That doesn't sound good." Bagpipe said.

"No shit." Sesa replied. "We've seen what War pig is capable of. Them facing an enemy tank is gonna be a problem."

"And they don't have any Javelins too." Yato said.

The group of marines went into the room, which was in half for some reason. There they saw a few OpFor soldiers by the streets, but they were quickly dealt with by Hoshiguma's squad by the other building.

Lin then saw the tank that Gaines was talking about. The design was the same that of the ones by the bog. 

The audience observed the enemy tank. It may share the same name of the vehicle like War pig, but this tank was a bit smaller, thinner, and looked pretty old. Nonetheless, it's still a dangerous vehicle to the marines.

"Warpig, Bravo six! T-72 behind the building at your 10 o' clock! Can you engage, over!?" Swire called out to the crew whilst telling the name of the tank.

"So that is called a T-72 tank, huh?" Vulcan said.

"And by the looks of it, it is the same tanks that Lin destroyed with the Javelin." Swire added.

"Are they made in Sargon or Ursus?" Steward asked.

"The T-72 looks pretty old, so i'm guessing that Drudge's army made it." Spot said.

"But aren't the OpFors' weapons and vehicles were all supplied by Reunion?" Noir Corne pointed out. "So that means that it belongs from Ursus.

"There's no way that's from Ursus." Beehunter argued. "That thing looks pretty old, and Reunion aren't just gonna send outdated equipment to their allies. Would they?" The Ursine girl then turned to Hellagur for an answer.

The former general let out a shrug. "Well no matter if it's outdated, the OpFors still use it against the marines, and they're proven to be effective too."

"Agreed." Franka said.

When Swire informed to the crew, the T-72 tank fired a round to the building where Hoshiguma's team were. Fortunately, they were uninjured from the Tank's shot. 

"Roger that Bravo six, I got him on thermal, switching to manual." Bison responded as the audience could the Type 99 tank moving forward to the bus. 

At the same time however, the T-72 tank turned its cannon and focused on to Lin's position. 

"War pig's gotta hurry." Cardigan said.

"It's a good thing they are taking so long to fire." Adnachiel pointed out.

"Guess they are still reloading." Liskarm said.

Lin turn back to War pig as the tank is now turning the cannon to where the T-72 was, despite there was a building in its way. 

"Takin' the shot." Bison declared as the Type 99 fired a shot. It went through the building, creating a hole in the process, as the shot successfully hit its target.

The cannon shot manage to hit the turret of the T-72 tank as it begin to sparkle. They must've hit the ammo stockpile which cause it to cook off. 

Not a moment later, the whole tank exploded into pieces, creating a large blast which knocked off some of the marines back, while the T-72 turret flew into the air for a second before landing on the ground in a hard thud.

Seeing the destruction, some of the marines begin to cheer.

"Whoo!! Yeah! WHOO!!" Lopez shouted in ecstasy.

"Holy SHIT, did you see that?!" Roycewicz exclaimed.

"Yeah-HAHAHA!" Massey laughed from the other building.

"That's what I'm talkin' about, baby!" Gaines cried out.

W let out a laugh like the Perro did. "That was awesome! To think i would see one of those tanks getting destroyed up close!"

"I can't believe they took it out in just one shot!" Sesa said, incredulously.

"Is the tank that weak?" Swire asked.

"I'm pretty sure War pig manage to hit one of its weak spots, which cause it to destroy the whole vehicle."  Vulcan stated.

"And on the other note, the Type 99 looks way more advanced than the T-72, which means they have stronger weapons." Dobermann added.

"They really blew it up like fireworks." Rangers commented.

"And the tank is now a bonfire." Noir Corne chuckled.

"I feel bad for the crew inside though." Dylan said.

Chard nodded. "Yeah, they've probably become barbeque after that."

"I want to see more explosions after this." W said with an eager smile. "A close up like the tank but even bigger!"

"Now hold on there, woman. Let's not get too big." Sesa said. "Otherwise, it would kill the main characters."

"Or the entire army." Spot joked.

While the marines were cheering, Swire kept a calm demeanor. "Nice shootin' War pig. Lots a' secondaries. Now let's get the hell outta here." Swire said.

"Roger that, Bravo six. We're coming through." Bison replied. Lin then saw the tank moving through the barricade blocking the path, destroying them completely. "So...uh, hehehe...are we there yet?" He asked.

Just then, Command - AKA Lee, spoke up from the radio. "Bravo Six, 2nd platoon is moving to rendezvous near your location, what's your status, over?"

"Precious cargo is intact and en route." Swire stated about War pig. "We're almost at Highway 4 and should make visual contact shortly with 2nd platoon."

With that, Lin and her squad jump out of the building and are heading towards the LZ, passing by the destroyed T-72 which is still on fire. 

When they made it further down the road, Lin turn back and saw that Hoshiguma, Massey, and the two other marines weren't following her. Instead they chose to stay and guard War pig from any surviving hostiles nearby.

"Hoshiguma is not coming?" Swire raised her eyebrow.

"It seems like it." The LGD Oni replied.

"Well they can't leave the tank alone, so it would make sense to have a few infantrymen to guard it." Ch'en said.

"Yeah, but that means she won't be there when me and the rat are gonna bring Drudge to justice." Swire remarked.

The squad of marines then head to the right corner of the path to an entrance that leads to end of this town. An open field was present, which could act as a good LZ. And it is when the audience saw a Chinook helicopter descending down to the ground.

When the Chinook landed, a batch of five marines came out to secure the area. Two females and three males.  

The pilot of the chinook then spoke up. "Lieutenant Schwire, this is Outlaw-Two-Five. The Task Force is moving in to capture Drudge Tulla. It's all hands on deck for this one so get on board, over."

"Roger that!" Swire said before turning to Lin and the rest. "Marines! We just got a fix on Drudge Tulla's position! Everyone on board! Let's go!"

They all obliged as they start to board the Chinook helicopter. And with that the screen went black, ending the mission.

"Well it seems like they are going to end this war." Doctor said.

"Indeed. Since they now know the location of where Drudge Tulla is, this means they're gonna do what they can to stop him." Kal'tsit stated.

Swire smiled proudly. "Sweet! He's gonna be hit with justice in no time. Though it's a shame that Hoshiguma won't be there with me and the rat."

"That's fine." Hoshiguma gave an assuring smile.

"So i'm assuming the next mission is where they all head over to Drudge's location and attack it?" Blaze asked.

"Seems like it. And the pilot said it's 'all hands on deck', which means that the Yanese would probably send all they got in their arsenal to attack Drudge." Greythroat said.

"Does that mean lots of those tanks?" Sesa chimed in.

"And a lot of explosions?" W added.

"Probably, yes." The grey-haired Liberi answered which had gotten the Sarkaz and the Vouivre excited to see the carnage.

"That death of getting crushed by the tank is still living rent free in my head..." Dylan said, still horrified by it.

"Sounds like you need something to cool off. How about we go to the bar after this act is finished?" Noir corne offered.

Dylan gave him a nod. "Yeah, sounds nice."

"Don't leave us hanging." Chard joined in, gesturing to Barty aswell.

"Of course i won't. That being said..." The oni turned to Yato for a response.

"No, i won't." She said. 

Noir replied with a shrug. "Suit yourself."

"I'm still a bit worried about all of this..." Doctor said.

"What do you mean, Doktah?" Amiya asked to them.

"What if...Drudge has something up his sleeve that could potentially backfire the Yanese?"

"Even if he does, I'm sure the Yanese would be quick enough to defuse it." Ch'en stated.

"Yeah, chill out, Doctor. Everything's gonna work out in the end." Closure assured.

The Doctor let out a sigh as they relaxed on the couch. "I hope you're right..."

"That was an awesome mission!" Croissant exclaimed, throwing the empty soda can to the trash. "You did so well with the tank, Bison!"

Bison rubbed the back of his neck. "It was nothing. Though by the looks of it I only did the commands. The other two crew members are probably the driver and the gunne, which did all the work."

"Nevertheless, you were a good commander." Emperor complimented.

"Heh, i guess i am."

"I gotta admit, what Lin was doing back there was totally idiotic." Sora commented of Lin's antics during the mission, the part where she ran across the gunfire like a headless chicken.

Texas nodded in agreement while continue eating her pocky stick.

"Did you see all those guns firing?!" Exusiai exclaimed. "It was so awesome and chaotic. If i was there, i would be pretty thrilled to have people having the same weapons as me."

"It's fun until you got shot." Texas blankly said.

"Hah! Like that would ever happen to me."

"If you aren't careful, you would." Texas muttered under her breath.

"Why did that guy had to get crushed by that tank..." Sora deadpanned, still imagining that horrific death scene. It was one of the most disturbing thing she and her team had saw.

She almost puked too.

"Well, let's get to the next mission shall we?" Bison suggested, grabbing the remote. "I want to see how the YMC are going to end this little war against that Drudge guy."

"I say it would go well." Emperor responded.

"Yeah, Yan has all those fancy gizmos." Croissant stated. "Ain't no way those Sargonian dudes would last a day against them."

"They really didn't last a day when the Yanese invaded." Sora pointed out.

"You know we have been watching this for quite a while now." Texas said. "Shouldn't we focus back on work?"

"I say we get back to it until we finish the first act of this game film." Exusiai responded.

The lupo sighed. "Fine. One more won't hurt." She then gestured to the forte to start the next scene, in which he did.

"Haha, now that was amazing!" Eurill shouted. "Did you see how my son did in the field? He and his crew really laid waste to those savages to the ground!"

Kojui replied. "Indeed it was amazing seeing your youth in action. Speaking of which..." He then turned to his daughter with a disappointed glare. "What you did back there was very dangerous and out of your mind. You could've gotten killed."

Of course he was referring to the part where Lin acted like a jackass and decide to run across the gunfire, getting a few hits in the process.

"Father, i told you i do not do such a thing like that. And besides, that's not even me!" Lin argued.

"Well she is still similar like you in appearance." The rat king countered. Lin let out a huff and looked away.

Fumizuki put a hand on the rat king's daughter, calming her down. "Those aside, you did pretty well handling those enemies. You probably took out a good chunk of them."

"...Thank you." Lin responded.

"So, guess this means the next scene is gonna feature the end of this war and eventually capturing that Drudge guy." Lee remarked.

"Indeed it is. He is going to face the full might of the Yanese military." Wei Yenwu said before turning to Lee. "I wish your alternate self good luck on leading the assault."

"Eh, it's no biggie." Lee shrugged. "I'm sure they're gonna win this fight. Though i will say that these men are gonna put up a huge fight."

"Well it is best not to underestimate your enemy." Eurill stated. 

"So, let's get on to the next scene. All this talking is making me very anticipated on what is about to happen." Kojui said.

"And speaking of which, looks like we are getting some attention here." The men were confused on Fumizuki's remark until they saw that the bartender and a few more bystanders were staring at their tv screen.

The bartender drop the act when they noticed him. "S-Sorry if we're bothering you sires."

Lee put a hand up in a calming matter. "No no. It's fine. You guys can watch if you like. The more the merrier." The bartender and the others return a smile as they stayed put and watch.

Wei chuckled. "You do have a way with words." 

"It's just how I roll." Lee replied as Wei then continue to the next scene. 

With all are anticipated on the final battle against Drudge's army, everyone hoped it would go very well to the Yanese.

A little trivia;

- I was going to use the Changhe Z-8 as a replacement for the Sea Knights. But after having a few discussions, i decide to use the Chinook instead. I mean Taiwan uses them and it would benefit to put in the Mark 19 turret.

Well, it looks like we are finally getting to that scene. Hope ya'll are ready because it's gonna be a total shocker.

And don't worry, Hoshiguma and Massey will return (Like in the game for the former, lol)
