Game Over
The screen begins with the two emblems of Rhodes Island and the Yanese Marine Corps. As they were put to their corners, the satellite begins tracking of their position by the altai mountains in central Ursus.
When the satellite zoomed in to the location, Lee spoke up from the radio, "Primary exfil point has been compromised. Proceed to Secondary Extraction South of bridge. Enemy presence... substantial."
The satellite then shows the area of the LZ while it is accompanied with red arrows and circles, indicating the position of the Reunion forces. There were red cars on the highway as the satellite zooms in to another location filled to the brim with red arrows and circles, along with enemy helis scene in the image.
"There are sure a lot of them..." Melantha said with a hint of concern.
"They did foil their plans on nuking Victoria and Yan, so it is understandable they would go after them." Steward replied.
"They, along with Patriot, are definitely pissed they didn't get to kill millions of innocent people." Blaze remarked.
"It's just too hot, man." Hoshiguma's voice spoke up, in a rather casual tone. "But room temperature? Please, a beer should be ice cold!"
Ch'en replies, "A lager maybe, or a glass of water like you drink. But a pint of stout?" As she said that, the satellite manage to track in the position of the characters as three black cars were shown at an image.
"Heh, I'm gonna have to school y'all both when we get back eastside."
"Yeah, well, either way we're stopping at Londinium first. And I'm buying." Bagpipe chimed in.
"Well atleast the world didn't end. Hit it." Hoshiguma said.
The screen was paused for a moment by the Doctor as they said, "I'm worried for Amiya and the rest." Even when their face isn't visible, the Doctor has a look of worry from their body gesture.
Kalt'sit, Amiya, Closure, and the rest from their spot took notice of it. "Yeah, me too. There must be about a hundred of them chasing the squadron." Kal'tsit replied.
"And they might even send everything they have to them." Closure chimed in.
"What do you think, Amiya?" Doctor asked to the cautus girl.
"Well, I am worried about the amount of enemies that my alternate self and her team would face. However...I am sure we'll make it safe." Amiya answered with a hopeful smile.
"Consider what they've went through this entire story, I can see it happening." Ch'en said.
"Yeah, we are one tough sons of bitches." Hoshiguma replied.
"Or would end up like Sesa and the Dog lady." W chimed in, earning a frown from the two mentioned. "You've seen how they died, and it was in an unceremonious way too."
"We'll see about that." Spot said. "But then again...Sesa did die the previous mission and we thought he would have the plot armor thing."
"Well I think all of you will survive." Popukar replied with a smile before glancing to the A6 "Right, team?" They replied with smiles on their faces and a nod. Though, Spot and Catapult would be unsure of it.
"I just hope my character won't be part of it." Bagpipe muttered, thinking that she is one of the main main characters, she would survive. Only thing stopping her would be a bullet to the head.
"Well, let's not get too deep in these speculations and watch the damn thing already." Closure said, grabbing the remote from Doctor's hands and unpaused the scene.
The satellite stops before zooming in to the location where the audience briefly sees a highway with three jeeps coming from the hillside. It transitioned to Amiya's perspective as she is readying her M4A1 rifle while sitting on the back of the second jeep.
She was accompanied with Ch'en, Bagpipe, Hoshiguma, and Massey. Massey acts as the driver with Bagpipe by the passenger seat while Ch'en and Hoshiguma are at the middle.
Seeing ahead of her, she spots the first jeep which is occupied by four Yanese marines as they are making their way to the highway where there are tons of civilian cars.
"They're going to a highway." Barty said.
"No shit, I can see it clearly." Chard replied.
"Yeah, but it's filled with civilians." Dylan pointed out.
"Oh no, there's gonna be civilian casualties." Yato dreaded.
"Hang on!" Hoshiguma shouted as the jeeps reached the highway road with Massey turning the jeep to the road, avoiding a few civilian vehicles who honked their car horn at them.
After getting into the highway, Hoshiguma and Ch'en turned around, the former saying, "Enemy truck at 6' o'clock!"
Amiya turned around aswell as she sees the third jeep making its way to the highway, said Jeep is occupied by Yato's squad in the form of her, Noir, Barty, and Chard. They were followed by trucks filled with Reunion forces as they fired at them.
Amiya returned fire with Barty and Chard doing the same from their jeep. The Civilian cars had to break away from the road to avoid the firefight. Amiya managed to kill off two of the Reunion soldiers at the front.
Amiya had to reload with Hoshiguma switching her place and fired at the truck with her LMG. While that was happening, Ch'en took the time to call for Closure.
"Baseplate, this is Bravo Six! What's the status on our helicopter, over?" Ch'en asked.
Closure quickly answered, "Bravo Six, the bird has been delayed, E.T.A. fifteen minutes."
"Not good enough, Baseplate! We'll be dead in ten!" Ch'en exclaimed.
"I hope we won't be..." Hoshiguma said in worry.
"Yeah, the situation is already bad enough as it is." Ch'en replied.
"Hopefully my character can be fast enough." Closure chimed in, pointing out how her character appeared again in the mission.
Amiya and Hoshiguma manage to take care of the Reunion soldiers by the first truck when it speed up on to their left.
"Truck moving up on the left!" Bagpipe pointed out as she sees the second truck coming towards them. Amiya shifted her aim to the second truck.
"Can't they just shoot the wheels?" Noir said.
"Or the driver atleast." Yato replied.
When the two mentioned that, Amiya tried to aim at the driver, but the glass seems to be bulletproof, getting some displeased looks from the audience.
In response to the attempt, the driver quickly move the truck forward until it reaches the left side of the jeep again. Amiya sprayed a mag to the truck, killing only two of the soldiers while the rest took cover by barrels or sheets of metal as their cover.
The truck then rammed the jeep, but Massey stayed in control of the wheel. The initial ramming caused some parts of the metal to fly off, allowing Amiya and the rest to fire at the Reunion soldiers hiding behind it.
Shots were fired on Amiya's left as she ducked down before turning to a third truck that appeared. With the rest focused on the second truck, she took aim on the third one.
"Cover the rear! We're getting boxed in!" Bagpipe shouted as the jeep then went into a tunnel as the third truck moved behind the Jeep in an attempt to trap them. Amiya stopped to reload as she ducked for cover from the bullets.
Seeing the second truck still on their left, Massey decides to give them payback by ramming to the truck. It resulted the truck losing control of the wheels before eventually having to hit its brakes when the first truck got destroyed, resulting the truck to be flipped over before exploding.
"Two trucks down, more to go..." Franka muttered.
"I hope they have enough ammo to do the job." Vanilla commented.
"And to escape to the second LZ." Jessica added, still feeling worried for MW Amiya and the rest of the characters."
After the two trucks were dealt with, the jeep was out of the tunnel, but the third truck was still pursuing them. Suddenly, Amiya sees a lone Reunion soldier standing up with an RPG in hand.
"Hostile with an RPG! Take him down!" Hoshiguma said.
"RPGs? Just great..." Bagpipe frowned.
"Hey, atleast we get to see some explosions." W smirked.
"It'd be better if we have the explosions." Doctor said.
Amiya tried to shoot at him, but Massey had to swivel the car to avoid the civilian vehicles, unabling her to get a clear shot. Eventually, she manage to fire about 10 bullets to the truck and killing the rpg wielder.
"That's a kill!" Hoshiguma called out.
The jeep then went to another tunnel, with Massey having to avoid a lot of cars in the highway. The third truck was still pursuing them as two Reunion soldiers stood up and fire their weapons at the jeep. The driver didn't even care of civilian casualties as it rammed into one of the cars, destroying it.
"They're not too concerned of their own..." Hellagur said with a displeased look.
"These guys are psychos, anyway." Folinic replied, remembering of what happened in Kazimierz.
"Indeed." Meteor nodded.
"Man, I hate to be one of the civvies in that highway..." Meteorite remarked.
"Why do civilians always get roped into this..." Frostleaf muttered with a sad frown.
"Shoot that truck!" Bagpipe instructed.
Amiya and Hoshiguma tried their best to shoot the Reunion soldiers while the jeep is swiveling about. Hoshiguma then spots another RPG wielder on the truck. "Another RPG on that truck!"
Seeing this, Amiya quickly went to the RPG wielder and fired a whole mag on the truck, a few of them managing to hit the RPG wielder as he fired a rocket to the sky.
"Nice shootin'!" Hoshiguma complimented. Amiya quickly switched to her M1911 45 pistol and fired a few rounds at the third truck.
Seeing the pistol, Catapult turned to Spot, expecting a reaction. Spot noticed her glance and raise an eyebrow. "Aren't you gonna complain of her using that old pistol again?" She asked.
Spot let out a shrug, "Eh, I've accepted that she can use an old gun whenever she likes. It's still a gun after all."
Hearing the conversation, Vulcan turned to him, "Glad you're thinking that way, Spot."
"Yeah. Who knows the gun would probably save their lives." Noir quipped.
"Maybe." Spot replied.
Amiya quickly reloaded both of her sidearm and primary as the jeep got out of the tunnel, yet the third truck showed no signs of giving up.
"We've got some more company! Troop trucks closing fast!" Bagpipe proclaimed. The truck continued to pursue the jeep as Massey had no choice but to go the opposite lane.
Suddenly a rocket was fired and almost hit the truck, though it caused the driver to lose control as it hit a few more objects in the way until it flips over and fall off the highway and down to the cliff.
"Holy crap, this feels crazy!" Franka remarked.
"Where did that rocket come from?" Melantha wondered.
"I think I know." Liskarm then pointed at the culprit.
The audience shift their attention to where Liskarm was pointing. The MI-24 hind where Patriot boarded appeared in Amiya's view.
It was seen firing at the other two jeeps where Yato's squad and the marines were. They retaliate by firing a stinger missile at the gunship, but it evaded it by popping flares.
"It's Patriot. He finally showed up to face them." Hellagur said.
"Well it's still not looking good for them. Now they have a damn helicopter chasing them." Closure replied.
"Though they have anti air weapons on the jeeps." Dobermann pointed out after seeing the stinger missiles. "Atleast they have something to counter it.
"Amiya's jeep should have one of those too." Dur-Nar assumed.
Seeing the Hind focusing on the other squadmates, Amiya shift her aim to the fourth truck coming right at them.
"Open fire on that truck!" Bagpipe shouted as Amiya quickly obliges and fired half of the mag in her M4, but it only hit the vehicle and not the soldiers.
Luckily, Amiya didn't need to waste her ammo when the truck almost crashed into a yellow car, making it swivel. Then a tanker truck drove past the jeep, the sudden chase cause it tumble along with gas tank, in which the truck crashed into it - creating an explosion that caused the occupants to be thrown around the highway.
"Rip to those guys." Blaze remarked.
"I feel bad for the truck driver though." Greythroat said.
"This really feels like an action movie." Noir commented.
"Isn't it though?" Yato asked.
"You could say there are some parts that feels like an action movie." Dylan said.
As the smoke cleared up, Amiya then saw Patriot's Hind targeting her. "Hind, six o'clock high!" Bagpipe called out. The Hind then fired at them, but fortunately it hit a nearby cliff, missing the jeep.
"Pick up the RPG and fire on that hind!" Hoshiguma said. Amiya then turn around to see Ch'en grabbing an RPG from the middle of the jeep and place it near Amiya.
Amiya then switches her M4 with the rocket launcher before going back to the Hind.
"She gets an RPG?" Kal'tsit questioned, " I thought she would get the stinger."
"Well, it doesn't matter. This is her chance to destroy the helicopter and take out Patriot at the same time." Doctor said.
"Yeah, she just needs the perfect angle and the shot to do it." Ch'en replied.
"It's gonna be hard in a moving vehicle, though." Amiya felt a little unsure if her alternate self can destroy the MI-24.
"I believe that you can hit it." Bagpipe expressed her support for Amiya's alternate self.
"Yeah, I do too." W chimed in, getting Amiya's attention, "I want to see that wendigo old guy blown to bits in that death box."
Hellagur felt a little uneasy when he heard what she said regarding Patriot.
"Um...thanks." Amiya said, also felt a little uneasy.
The Hind came back into her view as it is firing its machine gun at the jeep. Amiya took aim and fired a rocket at the Hind. But since they were in a moving vehicle, the rocket missed the helicopter.
She inserted another rocket in and noticed that the Hind is getting closer. She took the opportunity to fire another rocket at the helicopter, but like the first one, it missed.
"She already missed two of them." Rangers said, shaking his head.
"Don't blame her for it. Like she said, it looks hard to hit an aerial vehicle with an RPG from a moving jeep." Noir defended.
"They really should've brought in the stingers." Yato added.
"Well, It's all on luck and timing for Amiya to hit that chopper." Doctor said.
Amiya had to reload another rocket in. When she did, she was going to fire at the Hind, but the jeep went into another tunnel, missing her view. Amiya then notices that they reunited with Yato's squad as they're beside them, with Barty equipping the stinger missile in hand.
The reunion was short lived when Hoshiguma shouted, "Hind at nine o'clock!"
Amiya turned to the said direction as she saw the Hind flying over to the side of the tunnel. The Hind then started firing at the pillars and the road to kill the Rhodes Islanders and the marines. The ensuing barrage of rockets and gatling gun bullets had also managed to destroy several civilian cars, killing them.
Most of the operators were shocked of what the hind is doing. "They're killing so many of their own people!" Meteor shouted.
"And i thought they couldn't be more psychopathic..." Meteorite frowned at the scene.
"Especially when Patriot is in that hind." Hellagur shook his head, thinking of his old comrade ordering to destroy the bridge with the innocents.
"Fuck...I hope there weren't any children in the cars..." Frostleaf said with a look of worry.
"Same." Sesa nodded, the others agreed aswell, even W.
"Loving explosions is one thing, but killing kids with it? That's a bit much." She said.
Amiya got to work and aimed her RPG to the Hind. She saw Barty doing the same with his stinger missile. He fired a shot, but the Hind dodged it by popping flares. Amiya fired next as she timed it so it couldn't hit the pillars, and yet it still missed.
Amiya quickly reloaded another rocket as the Hind's weapons are getting dangerously close to them. Amiya fired again, but unfortunately it manage to hit the pillars and not the Hind. Thankfully, they reached the tunnel's walls which blocked the hind's view.
"That was way too intense." Ethan remarked.
"You're telling me..." Vulcan nodded in agreement.
"Amiya still haven't even taken out the hind yet..." Dur-Nar said
"And she fired about four rockets towards the aircraft." Dobermann added, "She's probably in her last one."
Taking a few moments to breathe, Amiya turned around to the front as the jeeps reached the end of the tunnel. Soon after, the hind came back into their view.
"Hind at twelve o'clock!" Hoshiguma yelled out.
On cue, one of the marines from the front of the jeep fired their stinger missile at the Hind. Amiya followed suit by firing the last rocket of her RPG. Unfortunately, the Hind popped it's flares and avoided the rockets.
"Fuck, of course the hind would avoid it with flares." Dylan said in a displeased tone.
Amiya and the rest resorted to firing their guns at the aircraft, even though it won't do much damage to it.
"The hind's buggered off." Ch'en pointed out, noticing that the hind is not attacking them.
"Must've run out of ammo." Bagpipe assumed. "Good enough for me!"
"Yeah, I don't believe the hind is out of ammo." Hoshiguma said.
"Maybe they're waiting for a moment to strike." Ch'en speculated. The question is when would it happen.
That is answered when Swire observed closer and noticed that the helicopter is heading towards the only bridge on the road. Her eyes widen when she realized what they're about to do.
"T-They're gonna destroy the bridge!" She exclaimed, getting everyone's attention.
"Wait, what?!" Bagpipe looked back to the screen to confirm what Swire said.
"Yeah, no kidd— Oh shit, he's about to take out that bridge!" Hoshiguma exclaimed, realizing what it was about to do.
As the jeeps entered the bridge, the Hind started shooting its rockets ahead of them, destroying the cars in front along with parts of the bridge.
"STOP THE BLOODY TRUCK!!" Bagpipe yelled out to Massey and the marines ahead, but it was too late.
The jeep at the front flipped over, launching the marines out of the vehicle. Amiya's jeep followed suit, causing her to black out.
The audience were left speechless when MW Amiya's vision blacked out. MW Patriot had outsmarted them by destroying their only way to the second LZ.
Amiya, Bagpipe, Hoshiguma, and Ch'en were worried of their own characters since they're still in the jeep. The Doctor, Kal'tsit, and Closure were worried for them too, though mostly for Amiya. And for Swire, she too is worried for Ch'en and Hoshiguma.
"Is...is it over?" Popukar asked.
"No it can't be over." Catapult shook her head, "They can't just end it like that with the heroes dead."
"Yeah, It would be very abrupt." Orchid nodded in agreement, recalling that she had agreed with Catapult of all people.
A few moments have passed as the audience could hear ringing followed by Amiya opening her eyes. Sighs of reliefs were released from the audience, especially the Doctor.
Despite her blurry vision, Amiya sees that the bridge was slowly collapsing thanks to the hind. As she slowly got up, the audience then hears Ch'en voice calling out to her, "The bridge isn't gonna hold, move move move!"
"Looks like i survived aswell." Ch'en said with a sigh of relief.
"That still leaves me and inspector Hoshiguma." Bagpipe replied, hoping she survived the crash.
"I'm surprised you two survived that crash." Swire remarked.
Amiya looked to her right, seeing parts of the bridge falling to the ravine below. Then she looked to her left and saw the jeep that is now destroyed. It was accompanied with a dead marine by her side, looking closely - it was Massey. His body then slowly slips away towards the ravine below.
"Poor fella..." Franka let out a sad frown seeing the marine's body, so did some of the operators, especially Hoshiguma.
"Of course he didn't survive..." Spot shook his head, seeing that he was just one of the NPCs in the game movie.
"Is his body gone forever?" Cardigan asked, seeing the body getting dropped down to the ravine.
"I don't know." Liskarm said, "It's a pretty big ravine. Hopefully he landed in the river."
Not wanting to end up like him, Amiya pushed herself to a walk as she struggles to maintain her balance after the crash. She then spotted Ch'en infront of her as she got up aswell, walking her way towards a safe location.
"It's about to collapse! Get your ass outta there!" Hoshiguma's voice was heard, also indicating she survived the crash. Amiya turned to her right and saw Hoshiguma for a brief second before she move away.
Hoshiguma felt relieved, "I survived too. Guess this means you survived aswell, Bagpipe."
"Well, you all didn't hear my voice after the crash." Bagpipe pointed out.
"Maybe you're just ahead like Hoshiguma." Ch'en said.
"That's probably the case." Folinic replied.
They pushed forward before climbing up to another piece of the crumbling bridge that was still intact before hopping to the rest of the bridge beside a flipped tanker truck.
After getting to safer land, Amiya notices Bagpipe and Hoshiguma meeting with heavy resistance from the Reunion soldiers that arrived. Yato and her squad managed to stop the vehicle in time before they disembarked and join in the fighting.
"We survived aswell." Noir commented, seeing his alternate self with Yato, Barty, and Chard.
"It seems we're lucky enough to stop the vehicle in time before the hind shot the bridge and made it collapse." Yato said.
"But now we've to deal with the Reunion forces." Barty pointed out, "There must be lots of them."
"We can take them. There's still eight of us." Chard stated.
Seeing this, Amiya readied her M4A1 as she and Ch'en joined in the fight aswell. She then saw an enemy truck crashing onto a destroyed red car before backing up to deploy it's soldiers.
She took position near a destroyed green car along with parts of the destroyed bridge that is still intact. Looking over, the truck started deploying soldiers as Amiya and the rest opened fire.
While they were busy dealing with the Reunion soldiers, Bagpipe informed Closure, "Baseplate, this is Bravo Five! We are under heavy attack at the highway bridge at map grid 244352. Request helicopter gunship support! Over!"
Closure responded, "Workin' on it, Bravo Five. Loyalists forces in the area may be able to assist, but we cannot confirm at this time. Baseplate out."
"USELESS WANKER!" Bagpipe shouted in anger.
"What?!" Bagpipe exclaimed before turning to Closure, in which she too was surprised from her response.
"The hell was that response?" Closure questioned, "I'm basically leaving them to die!"
"She did say Loyalist forces are in the area." Kal'tsit pointed out.
"Yeah, but my character didn't say when they would arrive! I would send one right about now."
"This can't get any worse for them, does it?" W inquired.
"Bagpipe! Gimme a sitrep on those helicopters!" Ch'en said while firing at the incoming Reunion soldiers.
"Captain Hui-Chieh, we're on our own, sir!" Bagpipe replied.
Amiya continued to fire at the Reunion soldiers. They were sending everything they have. More enemy trucks arrived, deploying more soldiers into the bridge. She sees Barty and Yato taking cover by their jeep, taking care of any soldiers that went pass them.
To make matters worse, Amiya spotted a helicopter hovering above the bridge as the soldiers begin to rappel down.
"It did get worse..." Blaze frowned.
"They really are sending everything they have to kill them." Firewatch said with her mouth agape, seeing the amount of soldiers Reunion is sending to kill the main characters.
"Holy crap, it's like the entire fuckin' Reunion army is infront of them'." Bagpipe remarked.
"Just like when Ch'en and Kal'tsit were chased by two armies in that chernobog mission." Closure said.
Amiya aimed at the helicopter and managed to take down three of the rappelling soldiers, but was forced to take cover when the enemies by the ground had her pinned down. She also had to reload her rifle.
Hoshiguma meanwhile went on a killing spree as Amiya sees her gunning down Reunion soldiers left, right, and center of the bridge, due to them recklessly charging towards their position with their mass.
"They chose those poor tactics again." Dobermann said with a displeased look.
"They're making Amiya and her squad have an easier time to hold their ground." Dur-Nar replied.
"Atleast that seems like good news for them." Beagle chimed in.
"But what if they would run out of ammo?" Kroos wondered, worryingly.
"Then they just have to make their bullets count." Lava said.
"Or they could just pick up the enemy weapons." Cardigan pointed out.
"Good point, but they have to get out of cover to one of the dead bodies." Steward stated.
Amiya decides to use her grenades as she threw two of them further from Reunion's position. It explodes and killed a few of them, but they still keep on coming.
The others begin to do the same with Barty throwing all of his grenades at the enemy forces. Yato and Noir used their flashbangs onto them. Bagpipe and Ch'en did their best to hold them off, while Chard was seen picking them one by one.
More trucks and jeeps begin to arrive along with a second helicopter as if the squad hadn't already dealt with a dozen Reunion forces. To make matters worse, among the soldiers that arrived, two of them were seen disembarking a truck. Those two were heavy armored soldiers.
"Oh come on! Not those guys again!" Noir exclaimed, recalling the heavy armored soldiers from the first mission in Act 2.
"This is such a bad time for them to make a return!" Blaze yelled out.
"How are they gonna even survive this?!" Franka cried out.
Amiya and the rest were getting overwhelmed with bullets. She peeked out and fired an entire mag on one of the armored soldiers. After that, she sees Noir firing an M203 on to the solder, which he managed to kill him.
The audience felt a short sense of relief seeing one of the armored soldiers killed, but they realize the other one was still alive.
The second one fired at Amiya's position forcing her to duck down again while reloading her weapon as her allies took care of it. Chard, Ch'en, and Hoshiguma decide to take care of it.
Suddenly, Chard was then shot to the head as he fell to the ground, unceremoniously.
"NO! Fuck!" Chard exclaimed, banging his fist on the floor.
"Shit, they got Chard!" Barty said in shock.
Vanilla was also left shocked of how sudden his death was, "I-I didn't expect him to die like that."
"Man down!" Ch'en shouted regarding Chard's body. Amiya quickly got up and focused on the second armored soldier.
After eating up hails of bullets, the armored soldier was finally dead. Focusing on the rest of the Reunion soldiers, a grenade was thrown infront of her. Unexpectedly, the audience sees Barty getting out of cover to throw the grenade back.
However, the grenade had already ignited which launched him to the side as he fell down dead with shrapnel all over him.
"They got Barty too!" Noir exclaimed.
"Dammit, man!" Barty shouted in anger, "I can't believe this!"
"Fuck, they are losing men one by one..." Dylan said. Hearing it, most of the operators begin to grow worry for the rest, especially the ones that are playing them.
He had recalled when he said to Yato that they all wouldn't die. He's now wrong, and that would mean Yato and Noir would die too.
Despite suffering two more casualties, the squad continued to hold firm on their position. Just then, a familiar voice spoke up from the radio. "Bravo Team, this is your loyalist - Nine. I understand you and your men could use some help."
"It's bloody good to hear from you, mate!" Bagpipe shouted in relief.
"Standby, we're almost there. E.T.A. 3 minutes. Nine out."
"She could've been quicker before Barty and Chard died." Blaze remarked.
"It was unfortunate, but this would mean that we have a chance to escape the bridge." Ch'en said.
"Yeah, we just need to hold on for three more minutes." Amiya replied.
"That feels like a short amount of time." Closure said.
"Not when you're in a firefight." Doctor pointed out, "Time feels slower when you're in a fight. Three minutes would be very long for them."
Hoshiguma let out a sigh, "Let's hope we survive this..."
"On the other note, Bagpipe felt joyous hearing Nine's voice." Swire pointed out.
"Oh yeah, I just noticed." Bagpipe said.
"I guess she doesn't hate her anymore like in the fourth mission." Folinic assumed.
Hearing the news, the team continued to hold their ground and kill off any Reunion soldiers they see. Fortunately for them, their numbers are slowly dwindling, mostly thanks to them charging towards them.
Suddenly, Patriot's hind appeared behind them and fired it's rockets. Most of them missed, but one of them managed to hit the tanker behind them.
"The tanker's about to blow! Move!" Hoshiguma shouted. Amiya turn around and notices aswell.
"That's not good..." Meteor said.
"Yeah, they have to get out of there!" Meteorite replied.
"But they also have to deal with that damned hind." Frostleaf pointed out.
Amiya and the rest quickly got out from their current position and moved forward. But suddenly, the Hind came back, now facing front of them.
The audience then witnessed as the Hind fired its rockets towards the tanker. It then exploded and engulfed their position as Amiya's vision went dark.
Once again, the audience grew worried of them. This is the second time that Amiya got blacked out in the mission. None of them aren't saying anything as they felt tensed up of what has been happening for the past few minutes.
Amiya, worried of her alternate self's safety, clutched on to Doctor's hand. The latter responded by holding it firmly.
After a few moments, the audience sees Amiya regaining her consciousness. Her vision was blurry again as she was seen waking up next to the red car. The second thing she saw was Hoshiguma moving towards her, seemingly asking if she is okay.
"I'm alright." Hoshiguma said in relief.
"You seem to got away from the explosion just in time." Ch'en replied.
"Amiya's alright too." Doctor pointed out, seeing that she is regaining consciousness from the explosion.
"But where is Ch'en and the rest?" Amiya wondered.
Seeing that Amiya was okay, Hoshiguma begin to drag her out to a better cover position by the jeep. She then pulled out her pistol and begin firing at the unseen Reunion soldiers whilst dragging Amiya.
Through her blurry vision and constant exhaling, Amiya looked to the center and caught a glimpse of Bagpipe, Yato, and Noir all knocked out by the center.
"There I am!" Bagpipe said, pointing at her MW self
"Us too." Noir added before looking closer, "Dammit, i think we're still knocked out."
"And we're in the middle of the bridge..." Yato observed.
"This is not good..." Dylan said.
"What do you mean?" Barty turned to him.
"They might get killed..." He responded. Yato and Noir glance at eachother in worry while Bagpipe widen her eyes. She hoped her character will get up just in time.
Amiya look back to Hoshiguma as she sees that the Oni ran out of ammo for her pistol. She stops dragging her before taking a crouching position and pull out her machine gun. Hoshiguma begin firing burst of rounds to the remaining reunion forces.
The operators grew concerned of how she was out of the open, some of them thinking why she stopped and didn't continue to drag Amiya to safety. And then, it happened...
When Hoshiguma shifted her aim, a stray bullet went through her chest. Amiya watched as Hoshiguma let out a groan before dropping her LMG and then collapsing to the ground, dead.
Hoshiguma gasped in shock, her eyes went wide after witnessing herself getting killed. "W-What...?"
"Hoshiguma! They...they got her." Swire exclaimed.
"Fuck!" Ch'en shouted, feeling a bit of anger seeing her ex-partner in crime and best friend to die right infront of her eyes.
"They lost another man..." Hellagur shook his head, while feeling worried for the rest of the characters. But a part of his mind tells him that they too won't survive.
The rest of the audience were stunned. Hoshiguma had been in the universe in three acts, and knows that she has been a major player on the story. To see her getting shot by the chest unceremoniously was shocking.
Amiya turned to her left as the audience sees Ch'en on the ground by her stomach. They saw how Ch'en tried to get up, but she was suffering from her own wounds that occurred from the tanker explosion.
"There's Ch'en." Bagpipe pointed.
"I'm still alive." Ch'en said, but became concerned seeing that her alternate self was suffering from the wounds of that explosion.
Ch'en took a glance at Amiya before the latter turn her head in front of her. When she did, Patriot had showed up, accompanied with two Reunion guards.
"He finally shows up." Hellagur said.
"And he has guards with him too." Kal'tsit replied.
"He is a pretty important figure, so it's no surprise." Doctor remarked.
The Hind had dropped them off as it was seen in the background, overlooking the scene. They began to approach Amiya and her injured squadron as the audience dreaded about what is to come.
Bagpipe's eyes went wide, knowing what's gonna happen. "No...no no no..."
Ch'en also realized this and went wide, "Is he gonna...."
"Oh fuck, she is screwed.." W said.
"Don't say it like that!" Swire rebuked.
"I'm afraid it's gonna be true..." Hoshiguma dreaded, expecting what is to come while the others stayed silent.
Amiya watched as Patriot was making his way to Bagpipe while his bodyguards went towards Yato and Noir corne. The audience then sees Bagpipe slowly gaining consciousness from the blast.
When she lift her head up and turned around, Patriot had aimed his desert eagle to the Vouivre. He then shot her to the head as Bagpipe fell to the ground, lifeless.
"NO!" Bagpipe shouted, tears coming out.
"God dammit!" Ch'en cursed out. First it was her trusted comrades - Hoshiguma that she witnessed of getting killed, and now it was her best friend during her time studying abroad in Victoria.
She let out a few tears herself before turning her head to Bagpipe, which is feeling devastated after her character's death. She decides to comfort her with Swire doing the same, despite not knowing her that much than Ch'en does.
A lot of the audience were too in shock of the execution. Orchid and Spot had to cover Popukar's one eye but the cautus girl was already shook from the sound alone.
"He killed her..." Amiya uttered with a sad frown and after seeing how Bagpipe reacted.
"In cold blood too." Hellagur replied, shaking his head. Seeing Patriot killing Bagpipe like that felt an uncanny feeling to the veteran former soldier of Ursus.
"She died as if she was like nothing..." Closure remarked when MW Bagpipe didn't even realize the pistol aiming towards her.
"That is just how this works in war." Kal'tsit stated.
"I thought for sure she would atleast show Patriot she wasn't afraid of getting killed." Hoshiguma said with a sad frown, "Maybe even put her own head to the barrel to indicate it."
After Patriot killed Bagpipe, one of his bodyguards followed suit and shoots Yato dead with his AK47. The other bodyguard then head towards Noir, the latter was barely holding on as he tried to crawl away.
The Reunion soldier gave his body a little nudge with his foot before taking aim and shot him to the head with his M60.
"Shit..." Noir muttered, though he had expected it since he and Yato were next. The male oni turned to the female one as she was momentarily shocked of how her alternate self died so simply.
"Dammit, I can't believe that just happened." Yato frowned in sorrow. Barty, Chard, and Dylan reacted the same, even when their face is covered by their masks.
"Yato and her squad are now gone..." Orchid uttered.
Just like Bagpipe, they have been through a lot in the story, helping Amiya and the rest of the main characters, yet they met their fate a similar way to the vouivre.
"Fuck, they're all dropping like flies." Spot said.
With the three Rhodes Island ops dealt with, Patriot makes his way towards Amiya, aiming to kill her too.
The audience tensed up, including the Doctor and Kal'tsit, fearing for Amiya's life. Even Amiya herself feared for her alternate self of getting killed.
Suddenly, the hind behind them exploded to pieces by a rocket. It's blade ricochet near Amiya, almost hitting her. The sudden explosion caused Patriot and his two bodyguards to jerk back before turning around.
An MI-28 Havoc appeared to the screen, most likely controlled by the loyalist as it was responsible for blowing up the hind.
"The loyalists have arrived!" Beagle said in a delighted tone.
"And they've distracted Patriot and the other two from going after Amiya." Dobermann added, seeing that the three men were now focusing their attention on the aircraft.
Patriot ordered his men to aim at the Havoc. They oblige as the trio fired their weapons at the loyalist aircraft. While they were distracted, Amiya turned back to Ch'en as the audience notices a gun next to her hand.
"Is that a pistol?" Spot observed the weapon.
"Looks like it is, it must be her sidearm." Midnight confirmed.
"I think she's gonna slide it towards Amiya!" Dur-Nar pointed out.
With all her remaining strength, Ch'en slides the pistol towards Amiya before falling unconscious from her wounds. Amiya managed to take it before turning forward towards Patriot and his two guards, the latter three still had their sights on the Havoc.
She then takes out the pistol, which revealed to be an M1911.
"Here it comes!" Franka said.
"Quiet!" Liskarm replied as the audience were all silent watching the scene unfold as MW Amiya begin to aim towards the three.
Amiya took out the first guard with the AK47 with one shot. She then turned to the one with the M60 and fired another shot to the back.
Patriot saw the two collapse to the ground as he turned his back onto Amiya, eyes widen through his wendigo helmet. He tried to aim his desert eagle to shoot at the cautus, but she was quicker.
With one final shot, Amiya fired at Patriot to the neck. Patriot gripped a hand onto his neck in dear life as blood spurts out of it, but eventually it would be too much for him to handle as he slowly collapses to the ground with the others.
The leader of the Reunion movement in the MW universe is dead.
The operators were speechless for a few moments, until Blaze spoke up. "She did it! She killed Patriot!"
"Hell yeah, she did. That old wendigo is now history." W cheered along with most of the operators.
"She did a good work." Dobermann congratulated Amiya's alternate self and Dur-Nar nodded in agreement.
"And she avenged me and everyone else that were killed." Bagpipe said as Ch'en smiles from that. Yato and Noir also nodded in agreement, given they too were killed along with Bagpipe.
"I can't believe she used that old pistol to save her and Ch'en." Noir remarked before turning to Spot, "Hope that change your mind regarding those old guns."
"You're right." Spot admitted with a shrug, "They are actually that useful."
While almost everyone were cheering, there were those that only stayed silent, preferably those that knew of Patriot and his motives. Hellagur stayed silent as he had to witness his old comrade killed infront of his eyes.
Even if that's just his alternate self, he gave a sad frown when he died like his real self. Atleast the latter died like a true warrior.
Kal'tsit and Amiya also stayed silent. The former had known about Buldrokkas'tee a hundred years ago in her ten thousand year existence. Like what Hellagur thinks, he was a good and honorable man fighting for a cause.
Amiya thought the same. When her alternate self killed him, it brought her back to Chernobog when Patriot made his final charge towards her and then he just stops, his oripathy taking a huge toll on him, leaving him frozen on the streets of the ruined city.
She was still unsure what he means of her being the 'lord of fiends' or more notably, the king of Sarkaz. She is not even a Sarkaz to begin with. Nevertheless, she felt bad for the wendigo.
But like his real life counterpart, atleast he would reunite with his daughter in the afterlife, even if they were the bad guys in the MW universe.
Amiya then felt Doctor's hand on her shoulder, turning to the person. Amiya could notice that under the mask, the Doctor was smiling at her.
"Good work." Doctor said, most likely referring to her alternate self killing Patriot.
"Thanks, Doctor." Amiya replied. "However, just to remind you - she is not technically me."
"I don't care. Seeing you accomplish something...always bring a smile on my face." Amiya smiled from Doctor's words. She felt like hugging them, but right now it is not the time.
After killing Patriot, Amiya put away the pistol as she stares at the dead bodies of him and his guards, but also her comrades aswell. Amiya glance up to the sky and noticed two MI-8 helis coming towards the bridge.
The audience thought it was the Reunion forces again until they hear this music track.
https://youtu.be/vbfetpbdjHw
"It's alright, everyone." Ansel spoke up, "They're the loyalists."
"Yeah, the hopeful music pretty much tells it." Ethan remarked.
"Nine finally made it..." Ch'en said.
One of the helis stopped near Amiya as it begin to detach its ropes to the ground. It was followed by eight loyalists soldiers rappelling down onto the bridge. The audience saw that one of them was Nine.
"This woman is barely breathing!" Nine shouted in Ursine as she quickly ran over to Amiya. "You are going to be alright, my friend!" She said with an assuring smile and a nod.
Nine turned to her men, shouting, "We found a survivor here!" One of her men went to help her, the audience noticing that it was Kevin. Kevin grabbed a hold of her legs as he and Nine carried Amiya onto an unseen stretcher.
After putting her on the stretcher, Nine looked up to the Heli as she shouts to the pilot, "Get her out of here! Quickly, come on! We need to get her to the hospital immediately!"
The pilot responded by positioning the Heli right above Amiya and the two.
"They are bringing her to safety." Doctor said in a hopeful tone, knowing that she is going to be okay.
Amiya smiled, "That is what allies always do to one another, even if they are foreign."
"I'm glad these loyalists are our friends." Bagpipe said.
"Yeah, and with Patriot dead, they can win the civil war." Swire replied.
Amiya turned her head back to Ch'en as she was getting treated by a loyalist medic after she lost consciousness from her wounds.
Amiya watched as the medic tried giving her CPR a few times, but she wasn't moving. The medic tries even harder by hitting her chest hard, desperately trying to revive her.
Ch'en, Hoshiguma, Swire, Bagpipe, and Amiya begin to grew worried when the former self is not waking up that the paramedic had to hit her chest.
"Am I dead?" Ch'en wondered with a hint of worry.
"Hopefully not. You're just gonna leave Amiya all alone." Hoshiguma said. If MW Ch'en dies, it would make Amiya the sole survivor of her squad.
Amiya also hoped she won't be the only survivor after what happened.
The audience didn't get to see the result as Amiya turned back to the Heli. She gave Nine and Kevin a possible brief look of appreciation before she was lifted up into the helicopter.
While she was being lift off, the audience could hear the voice of a victorian news reporter, "The Ursine government released a statement today confirming a series of nuclear missile tests in Central Ursus." During the explanation, Amiya's vision went white as she finally falls unconscious from her wounds, getting some concerned looks from the audience.
"Although world leaders were quick to denounce the action, Ursine officials maintained that the missile tests fell well within established UN protocols."
"They're just going to cover up the whole event?" Folinic said in disbelief.
"Apparently so." Kal'tsit replied, shaking her head.
"By the way, did anyone catch on the word 'UN'?" Closure pointed out, "Wonder what does that mean?"
"Whatever it is, it would be regarding the countries in this alternate Terra universe. Maybe like a global organization." Doctor assumed.
"No comment was received from the Ultranationalist party along with their paramilitary force - 'Reunion', where rumors of a possible leadership struggle have just begun to surface." The reporter said before going to another topic, "In other news, the search for a ship lost in the Bering Strait due to a major storm has been called off..."
Most of the audience thought back of the ship mission when the reporter said that.
The screen then fades to black for a few moments. The audience think it's already over, until a picture showed up.
The picture showed Swire, Bagpipe, Ch'en, and Hoshiguma standing behind a blackhawk helicopter. Swire was by the far left as she stood beside Bagpipe with an arm on her left shoulder, whilst Bagpipe raised a fist in the air with a smile on her face. Ch'en stood beside Bagpipe while putting her arms on her right shoulder and Hoshiguma's left shoulder where as Hoshiguma crossed her arms and stares at the camera with a badass look.
The picture was also accompanied with something written above them.
Heart Breakers and Life Takers
Thanks for playing!

"So...I guess it's over." Greythroat spoke up.
"For this one atleast. There are still two more films left." Blaze pointed out, "It's a trilogy for a reason."
"Well i say we're in for a treat, because the first one was such a wild ride." Dylan said.
"I agree." Vulcan nodded, "It has an interesting story regarding the alternate terran world."
"I do wish to learn more about it, along with the countries in it like Ursus." Hellagur said.
"Some of us aswell." Kal'tsit replied, "Whoever sent us this tape from Nian should've also sent like an almanac about the information of the MW Terra world.
"World aside, I also liked the characters in this film." Closure commented, "Even though they're just basically you guys inserted to it."
"Still feels kind of weird, don't you think?" Hoshiguma remarked. "I mean you need to be an actor to star in a film, but here we are seeing ourselves in the film already acting with our voices intact."
"Yeah, you got a point." Ch'en agreed, "It's like we're in a video game or something."
"Regardless, they did good in this film. Still can't believe I died." Swire said with a frown.
"You're not alone on that part." Sesa chimed in, remembering how he died by a rocket to the face. Can't believe it was explosive related too.
"We all died too." Dobermann pointed out. "But again, that's what happens in war-based films."
"I agree, but it was for the greater good. With Patriot now dead, the loyalists would have a better chance to win the civil war and no more missiles would be fired by them." Amiya said as she goes to the remote and clicked out of the the picture.
When it went back to the menu screen, an annotation popped up, saying 'Modern Warfare 2 has been unlocked'. She clicked back and saw that the MW2 section is no longer locked in the menu screen.
The audience observed the two shadowed figured of the section. Going back to the first one, it had only one shadow figure, only when they finished the film - it is now revealed to be Amiya wearing her combat attire.
The two figures by the MW2 section was yet to be revealed, though the audience noticed that one of them has a skull jaw marking around their mouth area.
"I wonder who those two are?" Franka said, observing close to the two shadowed figures.
"Well we may not know until we watch the sequel." Liskarm replied.
"Speaking of which, I wonder what's gonna happen in the sequel of this series?" Noir thoughted.
"It probably has to do with Amiya with her new group of soldiers facing off against a different enemy." Yato assumed, "Reunion seems to be losing the civil war at the end."
"But what if they don't?" Steward speculated, getting the attention of his team.
"Stew, you see that Amiya just killed the leader of the Reunion army in of that universe? And to add it in, the news lady mentioned that the ultranationalist fellas are in a leadership struggle." Cardigan pointed out.
"It was a rumor, though." Steward clarified. "And they have not a said a thing."
"Regardless, they still lost their leader along with hundreds of their own men." Ansel said, "I don't see any way the Reunion forces would rise back up from that."
"Speaking of the sequel, I wonder if any of us will make an appearance in it." Catapult chimed in with an excited look at the thought of herself being in the Modern Warfare trilogy.
And she is not alone as the other operators, including those in her team, were also interested of having a role in the sequel.
"I thought the same thing." Blaze replied, "Since Amiya was in it, then there is a good chance that me and Greythroat would be in it too!"
"I understand you being in it, but why do you think of me aswell?" Greythroat inquired.
"Well, You look pretty important, Grey." She answered.
Greythroat raised her brow for that, "Okay..."
"If I'm in it too, i could impress the ladies." Midnight smirked before eyeing on Orchid as the latter sighs and rolls her eyes.
Spot did the same thing, "Come on, man. Like that's ever gonna happen. You'll just probably get killed like an NPC."
"Hey, I took offense on that!"
"That's gonna happen most likely, dude." Catapult chimed in. Midnight huffed, glancing away with his arms crossed.
"There's a good chance that me, Fang, and Lava would appear in the sequel, since we did appear in the beginning." Kroos recalled.
"Oh yeah, you're right." Fang said, "Maybe Amiya would recruit us to her new squad."
"Hmm, I like the way you're thinking." Lava remarked, imagining herself as an elite soldier in the MW universe.
"Amiya being the leader like in real life? I'd like to see that happening in this MW universe." Closure said with a smile.
"I can tell she is going to do a good job at it." Doctor stated as the young cautus turned to them.
"Do you really think so, Doctor?" Amiya asked.
"Amiya, you are one of the leaders of Rhodes Island, housing about hundreds of operators." Kal'tsit joined in, "I'm sure when you're alternate self leads a squad of ten or more, she can lead them just fine."
Amiya give both doctors a genuine smile of appreciation. "Thank you, Dr. Kaltsit. You too, Doctor."
Kal'tsit smiled back at the cautus and so did the Doctor under the mask.
"Well, since we're done for the day, I'm gonna go hit the hay." W stood up before walking away, "Remind me when we're gonna watch the sequel!"
"Yeah, this has been a fun experience - for the most part." Folinic said. "If you'll excuse me, I'm going back to the medical bay."
"Before we all go, when do you think we should watch the sequel?" Closure inquired.
"I would say we give it a week or two before we watch it." Doctor suggests.
Kal'tsit nodded. "I agree, we still have important things to do."
"Well whenever we're gonna start, count me in to watch it." Hoshiguma said.
"You are? But your character died." Swire replied.
"That doesn't stop me from watching the whole thing. And besides, you stuck with us till the end even though your character died in the first act." She pointed out.
"Okay, you're right on that."
"I'm also sticking in to watch the sequel." Ch'en chimed in. "I want to know if I'm still alive after what happened at the bridge."
"And if you aren't?" Bagpipe inquired.
"Well, I'm still sticking to see how Amiya would progress."
Hoshiguma smiled from her response, "You truly do care for the little cautus."
"I-I'm just concerned about how her alternate self would deal with in the sequel." Ch'en blurted out with a slight blush.
"Still, that makes you care for her, almost like a little sister don'tcha think?" Swire asked with a smirk on her face.
Ch'en let out a sigh, "I'm leaving. It's been fun watching this movie." She then stood up and walked away.
"Wait up, Chenchen!" Bagpipe stood up to catch up to the lung girl, not before turning to the rest. "I'm also be sticking to watch the sequel. Even if my character died, I can still get to see chenchen in action."
"Alright then." Amiya replied as Bagpipe leaves the room.
"Well, consider this session to be over." Closure proclaimed. "I'm leaving to do my work now. See ya." The Sarkaz got up and walked away aswell. Swire and Hoshiguma followed suit as the other operators were too leaving.
"So you guys are watching the sequel too?" Hibiscus asked her sister and teammates.
"Bloody yeah, we'll watch it!" Kroos responded with an excited tone. "There's a good chance we'll appear, that also means how our future self will look!"
"Oooh, that would be pretty cool." Beagle said with a smile.
"It would be." Fang agreed.
"We're all just very curious is all." Lava remarked. "And seeing myself grown up would be cool, like Beagle said. Who knows you might be in there too, Hibiscus."
"Hmmm...." Hibiscus pondered, "I don't see myself as a combat op, but it would be nice to see."
Meanwhile, Cardigan overhears what the A1 operatives were talking about and thought of the same thing.
Cardigan then turned towards her teammates. "We should all watch the sequel too!"
"Why is that?" Ansel asked.
"Our characters could be in it!" She said.
"And how can you be sure of it, Merry? We haven't even made an appearance other than those three A1 girls." Steward pointed out
"But that doesn't mean we won't appear, though." Adnachiel claimed. "Besides, I do like the idea of seeing myself in this MW universe aswell."
"See, he gets it. What about you, team leader?" The perro defender asked Melantha.
"Well, I won't be too sure if we do appear," Melantha said, "But if we do, I'm eager to see ourselves in action."
"I got a good feeling that I'll be a main character for the sequel." Blaze said with a grin.
"Really? What makes you think of it?" Rangers asked.
"I'm an elite operator, duh!" She stated. "I'm like a main character already in real life. If Amiya, the leader of Rhodes Island, gets to be in this MW universe, then I for sure would be part of it too."
"I can see the chances." Noir said, "After all, me and Yato were in it."
"Yep. Can't wait to see me bring some action to my enemies." Blaze grinned in anticipation.
Greythroat sighed, "You've always think of that, you feline brute."
"Hey! I'm not a brute!" Blaze exclaimed, "I just like punching guys and destroying things."
The grey-haired liberi deadpan, "Literally what you are..."
The Doctor, Amiya, and Kal'tsit had left early, leaving Vulcan to keep the tape while the other ops picked up the projection screens. She pondered on bringing a more bigger TV screen instead.
As the trio walked along the halls, the Doctor would think of what the sequel for the Modern Warfare universe would offer to them, especially that Amiya had survived.
"Do you really think Amiya will lead a squad of her own second part of the trilogy?" They asked.
"That is the most likely guess." Kalt'sit said. "She had gone through a lot from the first, even losing her own comrades."
Amiya sighed with a sad frown, "I still feel bad for them."
"Well, their sacrifices won't be in vain." Kal'tsit assured. "As you said, with the death of Patriot, Reunion would likely be in shambles."
'Just like what happened in Chernobog.' The Doctor thoughted before turning to Amiya, "Kal'tsit is right. You pretty much saved the world from the threat of a war, and I feel proud of it for you."
"Thank you, Doctor." Amiya smiled at them before going to another topic. "Speaking of the Modern Warfare universe, I'm wondering when will you appear."
"Me?"
"Yes. Amiya was the main character and I made my debut in the Chernobog scene, which leaves you the only one." Kal'tsit pointed out.
"Well, I don't know how I would contribute in this modern warfare trilogy." Doctor said.
"You are our best commander, Doctor. Obviously you would play as a commander like Kal'tsit with Ch'en and possibly myself in the sequel." Amiya stated.
"Hmm, that does make sense."
"I just hope you're part of the good guys like the two of us." Amiya speculated.
Doctor nodded in agreement, "Here is hoping."

Lungmen, Penguin Logistics Hideout
After another job well done, the Penguin Logistics crew had gone back to watch the final act of the MW universe, along with Mostima that tagged along. After reaching the ending, their reactions were a mix on what happened, especially in the final mission.
"Darn, I didn't expect a lot of them to die right there." Croissant remarked with a frown.
"Yeah...but that is to be expected, given how a few of them had been killed before the final mission." Bison said.
"It's part of war." Emperor stated.
"Needless to say, that was a great film." Exusiai commented. "Who knew watching other alternate selves in an alternate world could be so engaging."
"Certainly." Texas said, eating another box of pocky.
"So does any one of you want to watch the sequel after this?" Sora asked.
"Nah, I'd like to take a break on watching it." Emperor said.
"Buzzkill." Mostima quipped.
"I say let's do it!" Exusiai said, "After all, we haven't even seen our alternate selves in this game, aside from Bison."
"Yer right. I like to see myself wearing all those cool new gear, especially using them guns!" Croissant agreed with a bright smile on her face.
"Ooh, I wonder if we're part of the main cast?" Sora thoughted with an eager look.
"That would be cool!" Exusiai exclaimed.
"That be way more awesome!" Croissant agreed. The three then turned to Texas, waiting for her answer.
"I think it would be neat." Texas said.
"Close enough." Croissant remarked.
"Though I am with Emperor about taking a break from this. We've been watching it for a while now, and occasionally having to pause mid-feed because someone wanted to go to the bathroom and not wanting to miss out on it..."
Texas eyed on the Red-haired Sankta, the latter chuckled nervously.
"So when do you think we should start watching the second installment of the MW trilogy?" Sora asked.
"A few weeks from now." Emperor responded.
"Few weeks??" Exusiai and Croissant exclaimed.
"But that is tooo long!" Croissant complained.
"Oh quit the complaining, you two. It's not like the tape would run away from us." Emperor said. "Sides', there would be future contracts that needs our assistance."
"I have to agree on that." Bison chimed in after checking on his phone, "I'm needed by my father with some business to attend. It would be a while until I'm free."
"It's settled then." Texas said, heading over to the tape player and extracted the tape out, while Exusiai, Croissant, and Mostima let out a dissatisfied expression.
Mostima let out a sigh. "And I thought we'd already be getting to the awesome parts of this series."
"It's alright, we can watch it again later." Bison assured.
"Since we're done for the day, might as well clean up the place." Exusiai said, getting a broom and starts sweeping some leftover snacks that fell to the floor.
As the rest of the ops helped out, Emperor got up from his bean bag and stretching his fins after slouching down on the bean bag .
"Wonder how old Wei is doing with his tape..." He thoughted.

Lungmen, Wei's home
Wei Yenwu let out a sigh of relief after seeing that Ch'en had possibly survived the entire story, but at a cost of her losing Hoshiguma and the rest of her friends. He was also glad that the Cautus girl - Amiya, survived too.
"That was a very close call for her." His wife - Fumizuki commented, also in relief she didn't get killed by getting shot like the rest.
"But the last thing we saw was her getting CPR after being very injured." Lin pointed out. She was invited by Wei to join the session as his father was busy by the slums.
Lin was not sure if she would live or not regarding her injuries she suffered. Best case scenario is her status being W.I.A.
"Regardless, Ch'en and her friends had completed the mission and killed the Reunion leader." Wei said.
"They also saved Lungmen and the rest of the cities in Yan from being nuked and causing 121 million casualties." Fumizuki added.
Wei also nodded at that. He recalled of how appalled he was seeing the casualty rate should the two ICBMs reached Yan. And all of that is because the Reunion leader's daughter died. He let out a sigh from that.
"With the leader dead, the civil war must be in the Loyalists favor now." Lin remarked, "Hopefully whatever happens in the sequel, Yan and Ursus would settle their hostilities."
"I do have a bad feeling that it might go sour." Fumizuki said, considering that they are watching a trilogy and not a single film.
While Lin didn't believe it, Wei was also thinking the same with a look of worry, "If they still remain in unfriendly terms, I do hope it doesn't escalate into a deadly conflict."
"You mean like a war?" Lin said with Fumizuki nodding at her in confirmation.
Lin couldn't imagine Yan being roped to a war like in the MW universe where everyone uses guns and has weapons of mass destruction. If that happens Yanese cities would be blown apart with lots of peole being killed, and that includes Lungmen.
And just like Wei and Fumizuki, Lin now had a worried expression.
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves with these assumptions for the second part of this trilogy. "Wei said, before getting up and take out the tape.
"Right." Fumizuki agreed, before getting up. "I'm going to make some tea. Lin, since you our guest, you can have some aswell."
"Thank you, Mrs. Wei. I appreciate it." Lin said with a nod. Fumizuki nodded in return before walking to the kitchen.
Meanwhile, Wei went to one of the shelves to put down the video tape. After that, he turned back to Lin who still had a worried expression in her face.
"Are you still worried that Yan and Ursus would go to war?" He asked.
Lin sighed and nodded, "Yes. With Terra in a constant war like in the MW universe, It is only a matter of time if the two great powers in that universe roped into one. Worst case scenario, it would escalate to a world conflict like what Ch'en said about a 'Second Global War.'"
Hearing the last part, Wei thought back of it in both worry but also in curiosity. Despite only focusing on the present day, the Terran world of the MW universe is already interesting for him to learn. He just wants to know how he can learn more of it.
Focusing back on Lin, Wei reassured, "Maybe it's best to think of a more less-worrying conflict in the next film. Like Ch'en, Amiya, and their new squad would be fighting in Bolivar against a cartel."
"Maybe..." Lin said. It would still be a conflict that would risk the death of some of the characters, but atleast the world, specifically Yan, won't be at stake from being blown up.
"Do you want to join us at the table for tea?" Wei offered, "It can help calm your mind."
Lin nodded in return. "Sure, I would love too." The Zalak then got up, joining him and his wife as the tea is ready.

Ironforge, Columbia
The TV switched off from the picture as Tachanka puts down the remote, "That sure was interesting." He commented after watching the end of the MW1 film.
"You tell me." Frost said, sitting beside the Russian Spetsnaz on a couch. "I still find it strange how the folks from Rhodes Island got to play in this movie thing."
"Regardless, it was an enjoyable experience. I still want to continue to the sequel, though..." Blitz replied with a frown as he's sitting on a stool near a table, drinking one of the Terran beers.
"We'll do it later." Ash says before getting up and extracted the tape out of the player and placing it on a shelf. "For now, we've got a job to do."
"What it is this time?" Tachanka asked as he get up to get his LMG.
"Hostage situation." Ash stated, "Mercenaries were spotted disrupting an important meeting regarding some higher officials, and their employer is one of them. Seems like he wanted vengeance to a rival or something."
"Typical." Frost shook her head.
"The Mercenaries are about a dozen strong and they're cooped up in this building that the meeting took place." Ash explained as she showed the picture on her device to the R6 operators. "Our mission is to secure the building, eliminate all the hostiles, save the hostages, and capture the employer."
"When are we leaving?" Tachanka asked.
"Few hours from now. Save the time to prepare your weapons and equipment."
"What are these mercenaries are like? If they are all equipped with crossbows and swords, maybe we should pack up lightly." Blitz suggests.
"Better safe than sorry, Blitz." Ash said. "These guys may likely use those weapons you mentioned, but these aren't the same mercenaries back in Sargon. Given how advanced Columbia is, these mercs might be equipped with state of the art tech which would rival ours."
"Even if they don't have guns, It is best not to underestimate them." Tachanka chimed in, loading up his DP-27.
"Fair point." Blitz nodded in agreement.
As the team were gearing up for their mission, Frost looked back at the tape on the shelf that was delivered to them a week ago in curiosity.
"You know," She said, "I'm still wondering who delivered that tape to us."
"Well it was this 'Grian' guy that delivered it to us outside our doorstep." Blitz replied.
"Yeah, but who is he? Do we know him somewhere? And how did he even find out where we are?"
"I was concerned about that aswell," Ash chimed in, "But since nothing happened after that week, I say it won't be that much big of a deal on who this Grian fellow is."
"I do thank him for giving us that tape of this Modern Warfare movie thing." Blitz said, "Atleast we would have something to kill the boredom."
Frost wondered if the folks from Rhodes Island also know about the tape they have, consider that some of them are in it, including the young leader - Amiya.

Elsewhere in Columbia
Nian and D were walking to their hotel room that the latter booked in. Their hotel was one of the fancy ones that the latter found in the website in this city. With his watcher powers, he is able to get enough money to book a room for the two.
"You know, I did not expect you booked the same room with me." Nian said.
"One room is already enough for us. They usually come with two bedrooms." D replied.
D then scanned in the key to the door before going inside. To D's shock, it turns out the room had only one large bed by the center, which would mean he has to sleep in with Nian.
"Oh no..." D muttered while Nian gave him a grin.
"Well now, there's only one bed in this room. Guess we're just gonna have to sleep together, eh?~" Nian said.
D let out a sigh, "Please, don't make this more awkward than it already is..."
"Alright, alright." Nian backpedaled as the two took their time to get accustomed on their hotel room.
D had removed some of his mercenary attire before going in to the hotel to not cause any unforeseen problems by everyone. He is now only wearing a simple black shirt and pants.
Nian went to the windows and opened the curtains, seeing the dim light of the afternoon sky and the busy streets down from the 7th floor of their hotel room. She observed the scenery in awe.
She had always wanted to see the cities like this from this angle. With D having his powers to summon money whenever they want, she can go anywhere she wants.
Looking back to the watcher, Nian noticed that D was on his wristband again. She frowned at him from all the times he had been tinkering that thing the past week before going to Columbia. That is when she began to observe of what D is doing in his wristband.
Now feeling curious, she walks up to the watcher. "Hey."
"Yeah?" D turned to her.
"I've been wondering what the hell you're doing eyeing on that wrist computer the past week?" Nian asked.
"Oh, I'm just making something." He answered.
"Care to be more specific?" She inquired.
"It's an almanac for the MW universe I made." D then projected a holo screen that showed her some parts of the almanac of the MW universe. "I'm currently making one that covers the events in the first game while also adding in the characters with their respective biographies and fates.
"I see." Nian hummed in interest, while remembering some parts of the 2nd and 3rd act that she watched during the trip. It was pretty brutal to her, especially seeing all the characters dead.
"So why are you making this almanac?" She asked.
"Well, since I have not introduced myself to the people that we delivered the tapes to, they would have hard time figuring out the entirety of the MW universe." D explained. "That's where i decide to give them the almanac I'm making. When it is finished, I'll summon physical copies of the almanac and teleport them all."
"Alright, I see where you're going with this." Nian nodded in understanding before asking, "But why do this instead of, y'know, introduce yourself to them?"
"I...don't feel ready yet." D said with a hint of nervousness.
Nian chuckled in amusement, "Nervous on meeting your favorite characters?"
"I guess..." D also begin to think of that one Kuranta sniper operator from Kazimierz which had been his #1 favorite throughout the game, making him blush after that.
"Well don't worry, man." Nian reassured as she sat down beside him, putting a hand on his shoulder. "If you feel nervous, just wait it out until you're sure and ready enough to visit them. It's not like you're being forced to introduce yourself to them as if you brought them elsewhere to watch that MW universe."
"Heh, yeah..." D let out a chuckle, "Thanks, Nian."
"Anytime, friend." Nian replied.
"Friend?" D raised an eyebrow.
"Well, duh. We've been hanging out for almost two weeks, exploring all of Terra whenever we can. That atleast would make us friends, or better yet- traveling buddies." Nian pointed out.
"Yeah, you're right," D nodded with a smile, happy at the thought of Nian being his first friend he made in the Arknights world.
"With that out of the way, can I take a look at that almanac of yours?" Nian asked.
"Sure. Just let me do the finishing touches and... done!" D then pressed a button on his wristband, and the following inscription popped up: 'Draft completed.'
"Alright. All that is left is to make physical copies of it, and the lore enthusiasts would be thrilled," D said.
"I'm not sure what you meant by the last part, but I'm glad that you're done," Nian smiled. "Now can I see that almanac?"
"In a moment. The computer's processing them into physical copies. Should take about a few seconds..." Nian and D stared at the latter's wristband as it loaded up the physical copies of the almanac. After a few seconds, it was done.
"Eureka!" D cheered before pressing a button. Moments later, an almanac appeared in thin air. "It's done."
"Sweet! Let's read it together." Nian suggests.
"Sure." D nodded as the two friends scoot closer so they can read the almanac together. Said almanac has the title "The Modern Warfare universe of Terra".
"Oh, by the way," Nian asked, "Are you going to make another one for the two other Modern Warfares?"
"Yep, I'm also planning on making some regarding the historical aspect of the world of Terra in this universe and how the MW universe came to be from it." D explained.
Nian chuckled, "Sounds like you've got a whole lotta work to do."
"And I'll make sure to finish it all," He said, determinedly.
The two went back on reading the almanac, with D spending a few moments to making more physical copies of it before sending them to the locations he and his personas sent.
===========================
And that's a wrap for Modern Warfare 1!
It took about over a year to complete the whole game (along with some interludes), but we've finally reached the end point. But of course, this is not over yet as we still have two more games to uncover, all while also getting to know about D and his personas in the following.
Now after this chapter, It would be an interlude regarding the almanac that D created. It would contain the characters and their biographies in the first modern warfare, that includes NPCs aswell, and along with other things.
I've already planned for the MW2 section. You could tell I'm excited for it because the campaign is just awesome, especially the music.
Feel free to take a guess on which AK character would play these characters in S.S.D.D. :
- Sgt. Foley
- Cpl. Dunn
- Pvt. Allen
- General Shepherd
Kudos if you'll get them all right when the chapter arrives :)
