DUKE/DUCHESS: The leaders of the group. At least one of them must be born into the position, or have been granted it due to the previous Duke/Duchess dying without a successor. They can choose anyone to be their mate (although choosing Commoners is frowned upon). They have the most power out of anyone.

ARCHDUKE/ARCHDUCHESS: The eldest kit of the Duke and Duchess, as well as their mate. They have about as much power as a deputy. Like the Duke and Duchess, they must be born into the position. As well, they can mate with anyone.

ORACLE: The healers of the group. While healing is one of their most unique skills, their main feature is their ability to occasionally see into the future with their prophetic visions. They have lots of respect, and are sometimes considered to be an unnamed member of The Cabinet. They, unfortunately, cannot take a mate.

CABINET: The council of the group. They are comprised of the cats that the Duke and Duchess trust enough to guide them and give out good judgement. When it comes to making important decisions, the Duke and Duchess must receive permission from The Cabinet before acting on it. They can take mates from the Duke/Duchess, Archduke/Archduchess, their own rank and Nobles. Mating with a commoner is forbidden.

NOBLES: Nobles are the high-ranked warriors of the group. They receive a fair amount of respect, and it is Noble kits that are occasionally chosen to become apprentices of Cabinet members. Outside members of their own rank, they can mate with Duke/Duchess, Archduke/Archduchess, Cabinet members, and occasionally Commoners.

COMMONERS: The low-ranked warriors of the group. They are the ones who do most of the hunting and can be bosses around by all of the other ranks, except Students and kits. They can only mate with cats inside their own rank, and occasionally with Nobles, Cabinet members, or with cats related to/are the Duke/Duchess (although the last two are very rare and frowned upon).

STUDENTS: Young cats at the minimum age of six moons who are learning to become full Cabinet Members, Oracles, Nobles, or Commoners. They are usually entrusted with doing chores around the camp, and cannot take a mate until they rank up. They rank up after six moons of training.

MOTHERS: The Queens of the group. They consist of she-cats who are pregnant, or have kits. Depending on which rank the Mother is, depends on how much care she gets for herself or her kits (ex. A Noble Mother has a higher priority than a Commoner Mother).

KITS: The youngest members of the group. They can't really do much because of their age. They will receive the same rank as their parents when they are born.
