-I Piss Off a Decapitated Leopard-

"So how exactly did this whole mess come to be?" Will questioned me as we made our way up to the big house. "And what happened to your face?"

"I told you Will! Me and my sister followed Logan, and then met up with this girl, who is apparently a child of Hades. And as for my face you can blame my foot."

Nico who had been ignoring me in favor of Thalia whipped his head around. "Hades?!" Me and... you know who else!" He paused looking incredibly uncomfortable. "Have been the only Hades kids for a long time."

Now it was Thalia's turn to talk. "Uh cousin, don't you have Hazel?"

"Well yeah, but she's Roman, which technically makes her father Pluto instead of Hades." Nico turned and stared at me. "If this really is another Hades kid, and if she's got nasty intentions, we need to put a stop to it. There's a reason why big three kids aren't supposed to be born."

I nodded chewing on my lip. Sure, the oath of our fathers was off but that didn't mean that it was common for us to be born. The gods hated us for a reason. We were powerful, powerful enough to pose a threat. I'd seen what happened when me or my cousins got pissed off, and it wasn't good.

I was pulled out of my thoughts Will giving my shoulder a gentle nudge as we entered the big house. His blue eyes were light with concern. "Come on girl, let's get that nose fixed up," he muttered gently nudging me up the stairs.

Now I should probably explain me and Will's bond. It's not a romantic one, but more of a brother and sister relationship. Will was the one who treated my injuries upon my arrival at camp. My sister had just come back from her pine tree faze a few weeks prior and still hadn't been at 100% when I arrived at camp, with my blood-stained cloths, and backpack containing an assortment of things from a ratty blanket to some stale chocolate twinkies. At first the other campers had been to shocked to say anything, leaving Will to deal with a malnourished, filthy, and bleeding 11-year-old. He alongside of Thalia and Percy, were pretty much the only ones I trusted for a solid year or so. Back then I would mostly be out with Thalia or somebody else helping deal with Kronos, electrocuting any other campers who tried to talk to me.

Will quickly pushed some alcohol pads onto my kneecaps making me hiss and try to punch him. He grabbed my wrist and glared at me. "Watch it, Aria. I'm an army doctor, meaning I can both break and heal every bone in your body." He warned me, even though he would never actually hurt me.

"Shut up and be grateful it wasn't lightning," I retorted as he quickly fastened my nose back together with tape, to make the bleeding slow. "And couldn't I have just had a sip of nectar?"

"No." Was the simple reply.

Annoyed I let a light splash of lightning hit him, not enough to hurt but just enough to annoy him.

He gave an annoyed yelp, as I slipped by him rushing down the stairs, where I nearly ran into Chiron.

Chiron looked down at me as I skidded to a stop. "Uh sorry Chiron," I apologized. "Didn't look where I was going, I guess." I mumbled.

He put one of his wrinkled hands-on top of my hair. "Come on child let's go and sit down. Your cousins and sister are waiting, Will you come as well." He said stopping the blond from leaving.

When we got to the sitting room, Mr. D was sitting on the couch with a can of diet coke in his hand, dressed in his signature leopard print shirt, leaning back on the couch in a relaxed state. My cousins on the other hand looked like nervous wrecks. Nico's eyes were dark, and he kept fiddling with the skull ring on his finger, while my sister was letting out sparks of electricity, occasionally making Nico hiss in annoyance.

I heaved a sigh as I sat down on the couch next to my sister. "Sis, quit it," I muttered as a shower of sparks hit me. "You're going to set the big house on fire."

"Look I'm stressed," she hissed at me.

Chiron clearing his throat made us both look up, cheeks tinted scarlet with embarrassment. He took a seat careful to settle in his horse legs, then stared at us deathly serious. "Aria, what you and your sister have discovered is..." he paused searching for the right words. "Troubling, but unfortunately not surprising."

"Not surprising?" I repeated raising an eyebrow. "What's that supposed to mean." It was just then that I realized my sister, Will, and Chiron, were all exchanging nervous looks. "Well?!" I repeated in annoyance when everyone averted my gaze, and my question went unanswered.

"Sis, we knew about that Hades kid," Thalia said gently putting her hand on my shoulder, but I jolted away like it was made of lava. She winced slightly. "Zora has been different since she arrived... she wasn't right in the head..." she trailed off, unsure of what to say next.

I could feel lightning slowly stirring inside of me, and knew that I had to prevent it from escaping, Thalia was staring at me blue eyes flickering with guilt, yet not regret. "So what? You just refused her?!" I demanded to know. Camp half blood was by no means a mental asylum but still. We'd rarely turn down a camper in need and almost everyone in this camp had a mental disorder of something of the other.

"She was insane child," Dionysus spoke, taking a sip of his coke. It was the first time he'd spoke, and quite frankly made me want to kill him for looking so relaxed.

Sparks were really flying off of my skin now. One hit Seymour right in the face making his yowl out in annoyance. "Oh what and Chris Rodriguez wasn't?" I demanded to know, annoyed when silence was my answer, as people stared guilty at their laps. "Chris attacked Harley and wouldn't leave the Big House for weeks." I reminded them all.

"Chris also didn't try to start a war!" Dionysus snarled, eyes burning like purple fires as he looked at me.

"Well Luke sure as hell did, but we kept him around didn't we!" I spat, not realizing my words until it was to late. I froze and looked over to my sister, realizing that I maybe fricked up. "Thalia I didn't mean-"

She cut my off and her electric blue eyes bore into me sharply. "No, your not wrong. But Luke actually had a point, Zora does not." She turned away from me, refusing to speak anymore about the topic.

"Luke also killed people, who has Zora killed."

"Her mother." Came the flat reply from Nico. We all turned to stare at him. Nico had went silent this whole time, and had been fiddling with his skull ring. "I felt her power when she did it to her mother. I just brushed it off as me having an off day." He sighed and stared at his lap. "Now I really screwed up," he muttered.

"S-she killed her own mother," stammered Will in surprise. "Why in Hades name would you do that?"

"Paranoia." And with that Nico stood up and left the room in a swift burst of shadows.

Will shook his head. "I'll talk to him," he promised Chiron before heading out of the door himself.

Chiron looked at me. "Now you see why we turned her away, she was a danger to the other campers, and frankly one to herself." He rubbed his forehead looking as though the conversation had taking a thousand years off his immortal life. "Go to your cabins please."

I sighed knowing that he wasn't going to talk anymore. I left the Big House, not bothering to check if Thalia was following. When we got to the big house I immediately shoved my face into one of my pillows. A light clicking made me look up. "Hello Neo."

A beautiful mottled brown and golden eagle sat in front of me, black eyes boring into my head. I reached out and stroked the soft feathers, making Neo give an almost cooing sound as he leaned into my touch.

Another hand quietly reached down and stroked his wings. I stayed still as I felt the bed shift with Thalia's. One of her hands came to rest lightly against the small of my back, as the other continued to stroke Neo. I didn't jerk away from the touch, but instead heaved a sigh and leaned into it against my self.

"I know your still mad at me."

"Damn right I am."

"Sis I only voted to keep Zora way from camp because I thought you'd be more protected,"

I lifted my head slightly. "Sis no offense but I'm a fifteen year old demigod, nothing about my life is safe."

I saw her roll her eyes slightly. "I'm sorry. I was wrong to send her away."

"Wow the great Thalia Grace actually apologized." I teased rolling onto my back. "Wheres the calendar,I better mark off the date?"

"That's it!" She lunged at me, making Neo give a startled screech as we tumbled around the cabin.

"Thalia stop it!" I screeched with laughter as she tickled me, smirking as a squirmed. "Stop it!" I laughed as lightning started to flicker off of my skin. Thankfully she smirked and let me go, I rolled over sprawling out on our floor as I strained to get my breath back. She flopped down next to me, black hair looking even more tousled than usual.

We laid there in silence for a few moments until she spoke up. "Look sis I want to make it up to you." I looked over at her with a raised eyebrow. "Everything in the big house you just said was true. And I think your right, Zora needs help, and without it she is dangerous."

"So what should we do?"

"We go and find her."
