"Aren't you proud of me, Kacchan?"
~{Tw: Mention of suicide, violence, fire, mention of death, kidnapping, and angst. Have fun reading if you're okay with the following.}~
"Go take a swan dive off the roof and pray to have a quirk in your next life!"
Those were the last words that Bakugou Katsuki ever said to Izuku Midoriya.
A 14 year-old Izuku sat on a bench on the roof of his school building, wondering if he should go through with was he was about to do. He had already left a suicide note on his bed for his mom, Inko Midoriya, to find. She would be heartbroken when she finds it. The green haired boys sighs and stands up, looking up at the cloud covered sky. He walks over to the edge and sits on the railing. 'One push and I'll be gone.' the boy thought. He smiled, and with tears going down his face, he got up, stood on the other side of the railing, and pushed. "Goodbye." He muttered, feeling the wind on his face as he closed his eyes for the last time.
--------------------
The small boy woke up coughing. He felt something soft under him. 'A bed?' he questioned, as he opened his eyes. He looked around, analysing the room. It looked like a small, worn down room with reddish brown walls and a cement flooring. He rubbed his eyes and tried to sit up, only to be met with intense pain in his spinal area. He almost screamed because of said pain.
"You have to be careful, child." A man's voice said. He looked to the door. A strange man with what looked to be purple smoke coming off of his body stood at the door.
"Who are you? Where am I?" The freckled boy asked. "My name is Kurogiri. Where you are isn't important. What is important is that you rest." Kurogiri said while walking closer to Izuku. "How am I alive?" Izuku asked again. Kurogiri sighed. "I found you at the bottom in a bush of a school building. I presume it's yours?" He asked, looking at Midoriya to get an answer. "Yes, that was my school. But that doesn't answer my question!" He exclaimed, his fists balling up and bed cover. "I brought you here and bandaged you up. Since you fell into a bush and not solid ground, you're lucky you're alive, kid." The man said while carefully leaning Izuku up. "Now tell me, what is your name?" The smoke figure asked.
"My name is Izuku Midoriya."

Two days later
--------------------
Bakugou Katsuki was walking to school with his usual scowl on his face. Deku hadn't shown up at school for two day. Not that Bakugou was worried, he'd never worry about a damn nerd like him. A few minutes pass, and he walks by a light pole, with a singular paper on it, with a familiar face on the paper. Bakugou stops and turns around. He goes to the pole and sees something that shakes him to his core.
'MISSING'
Izuku Midoriya
Please contact Inko Midoriya if you have seen this child
xxx-xxx-xxxx
Bakugou's hand shakes. He reached up and grabs the paper. Tears start rolling down his face. His hand quickly turns into a fist and he runs in the direction of the apartments that Inko lives in, with his face wet with tears as the cold wind strikes this face.

Two years later.
--------------------
Bakugou Katsuki is now in UA. Izuku Midoriya is still labeled as missing, and is presumed dead. Little do they know, Izuku is still very much alive.
--------------------
"Hey, Izuku right?" A girl's voice asks. Izuku turns around, and for the first time in what feels like forever, he sees a new face. "Uhm, yeah that's me!" He answers, and turns fully to face the small blond girl. "My name is Toga Himiko! Nice to meet ya!" The girl says cheerfully as she holds out her hand. The greenette shakes her pale hand and smiles. "It's nice to meet you too!"
"Ah, I see you've met our new member, Izuku. How are you two getting along?" Kurogiri said as he walked up to meet them both. "We're getting along very well, Kuro!" Izuku said, excited to finally have a friend that's at least closer to his age. "Yeah! Although I was surprised to see a kid that's presumed dead here." Toga said. Izuku laughed quietly. "Yeah they didn't bother to even try and find me outside of a five mile radius from my old school. I'm surprised that they didn't call the heroes to come and find me." Izuku said turning back around in his seat at the bar-like island.
Toga frowned. "But they told the media they found your body on a river bank near some apartments!" The blonde said, sitting on a stool next to the Midoriya. The teen looked down at his glass of water. "That was Endeavor's doing. He doesn't care about the kids that go missing. As long as he gets the number one hero title, he won't care. I doubt he will care even when All Might steps down to retire." Izuku says as he picks up his glass and drinks from it. "Anyway, what's your quirk?" Toga asks, leaning her head on the palm of her hand. "Poison eruption. I can make poison from anywhere at will, and if I use it too much I can get very ill. I learned that the hard way.
"Oh wow! You're parents must have really strong quirks then!" Toga says excitedly. Izuku shakes his head. "it's not because of my parent's quirks. This quirk was given to me by All for One, our boss." Izuku looks at Toga, noticing her eyes wide. "You met All for One?!" she yells, bouncing in her seat. He nods. "I was quirkless when Kuro found me. After about a year here, he took me to meet him and for him to give me a quirk. I'll be honest, that day was the day I felt the most pain in my life. My body wasn't used to such a quirk and I got sick for a few weeks until my body got used to it." Izuku shrugged. "I guess that makes sense." Toga sighed.

A few months later, with Bakugou at the training camp.
--------------------
A year after the heroes announced Izuku's death, it still lingers in Bakugou's mind. Who killed him? Why was he killed? Was it just a villain who wanted a kill? Why- Bakugou's thoughts were caught off by people screaming. He looked around the forest he was in. He spotted a figure in the distance and decided to approach them. As he walked, a fog formed. As he got closer, the more he recognized the hair and back the figure ahead of him. His eyes widened and started to tear up. "... Izuku? Is that you?" he asked quietly. The figure turned their head.
He could recognize those bright green eyes anywhere. The tears That Bakugou was holding back started flowing. "We thought you were dead! Where have you been all this time?!" Izuku rolled his eyes and fully turned around. "I thought that's what you wanted, Kacchan." He said, a scowl on his face. Bakugou's tear kept flowing as he said "No.. That's not what I wanted!" as he fell to the ground on his knees. Izuku sighed and rolled his eyes. He walked towards the crying blond. "Well maybe that's what you should have said before I tried killing myself." He said as he knelt in front of him. He looked towards the tree where another villain, Mr. Compress, hid and waited for the signal. Izuku nodded and he jumped down, startling Bakugou's crying form. "What the hell, Izuku?!" Izuku laughed. "You were wondering where I was for the past two years? Well, that's for you to find out when you wake up." He cackled before and before Bakugou knew it, he was no longer in a human form, but instead, he was a marble.

Later, at the LOV base
--------------------
Bakugou groaned as he opened his eyes. He went to rub his eyes but he couldn't move his arms. His eyes snapped open to reveal he was now in a chair with metal bounding him to it. "I guess it's pretty useful to have you around, kid." A voice said. "Well I did grow up with him, so I know his quirk pretty well." A lighter voice responded. Bakugou looked up and seen Izuku talking to a tall man with black hair and purple skin graphs. He growled. Izuku perked up, and the man he was talking to looked behind him. He turned back to Izuku. "Are you sure you can handle him, Izu?" The man said, like he was concerned. 'Ha! Like a villain would be concerned.' Izuku nodded, and the man walked out of the room, closing the door behind him. "Bye, Dabi!" Izuku said right before he closed the door. He then turned to Bakugou. "Where the hell are we?!" He shouted, pulling at the string-like wire holding him to the chair.
Izuku chuckles. "Now that would spoil the secret if I told you, Katsuki." Izuku said, with venom in his voice as he said his name. "Deku what the fuck?! I thought you wanted to be a hero just like All Might!" Bakugou yelled. Izuku rolled his eyes at his old nickname. "Still with that old nickname you had for me? God why don't you just let that go?! Just because you got your quick and I didn't does not mean you're any better than I am!" The teen yelled. Bakugou was taken aback at the sudden outburst. "...Where did the old Izuku we knew go?" He quietly asked. Izuku cackled before he said "That Izuku died a while ago, Katsuki. It died the day you told me to take a swan dive off the roof." he said and turned around. Bakugou went quiet. Izuku was expecting a response. He waited. And waited. And waited. Five minutes of painful silence pass. "Huh. I was expecting a response by now." he laughed. "Don't tell me you forgot that day, Katsuki." He turned back around to face the boy on the chair. His head hung low, tears silently falling onto his legs. Izuku's eyebrow quirked up, followed by him saying "Do I need to remind you what you said to me that day?" He said while smiling. Bakugou's head tilted up to meet Izuku's eyes. Izuku's poisonous green eyes met Bakugou's blood red and puffy eyes. "What did I say?" He mumbled. Izuku laughed darkly. "Ooh so you did forget." He said and scoffed. "You told me to take a swan dive off the school roof and told me to pray for a quirk in my next life!" He said, mimicking Bakugou's voice as he said it. Bakugou's tears fell down his face as he said that. Izuku walked up to the crying red-eyed blond. "Low blow for someone who wants to be a hero, huh?" he said as he knelt to meet Katsuki's eyes.
Bakugou looked down again, not wanting to meet Izuku's once bright, cheerful green eyes turned a dull, toxic green. Izuku stood up and sighed. "Maybe I should show you my quirk now." Bakugou's eyes widened as his head shot up. "What?!" He exclaimed. He looked at Izuku as he watched a green, almost clear liquid pool in the palm of this hand. "What the fuck it that?! Wait do not get closer to me!" He yelled as Izuku slowly got closer. "You bragged ever since you got your quirk about how much stronger you were than me. I thought I was useless, worthless, weak. Until Kurogiri gave me the chance to meet up with someone very, very special. You may know him. All for One. He's the one that have me this quirk. With one measly touch and with enough poison, I can immobolize anyone." He looked at Bakugou's eyes, which were filled with terror. He laughed and got closer to him, wiping his hand on the black and green shirt he wore. He knelt down in front of him, almost touching his legs while Bakugou's eyes followed him. "What's with that look?"
"Aren't you proud of me, Kacchan?"
