I walked out of my room and went downstairs.

The living room was empty.

'Where is everyone?' I said aloud.

Claude came into the room. 'Mom, Dad and Josie went to some Christmas party at a neighbor's house.'

'What about Amber and Alex?'

'I put them to bed.'

I sat down on the sofa and switched on the TV.

Claude sat down next to me. I shuffled away from him and he shuffled back too till there was a big enough gap between the two of us.

'Give me the remote,' he said.

'No,' I said as I flipped through the channels. Nothing but Christmas movies.

I gave him the remote, seeing as there was nothing to watch.

He too, gave up and switched off the TV.

'So what's between you and Allen?' He finally said.

I went red.'Nothing! And how did you know about Allen?'

'Rumors spread like wildfire.' He sniggered. 'So are you guys going out?'

'Thats none of your business!' I spat

There was a silence.

'Do you have a girlfriend?' I finally asked.

'That's none of your business.' He answered back.

'Is there a girl that you like?'

'Again, that's none of your business.'

He looked at me and crossed his arms. A smug smile appeared on his face. 'Allen is way out of your league anyway.' He remarked.

'Whatever uncle Cloud,' I smiled back.

His smirk had faded away. 'Don't call me that!'

'I'll call you Cloud if I want to!' I yelled back, crossing my arms.

We sat there, glaring at each other, both our arms crossed.

'I hate you,' I muttered to him.

'I hate you, too,' I heard him say.

He shuffled closer to me. He placed his hand on my cheek.

'What the hell are you doin-'

He had pressed his lips down onto mine.
