I was in my room, on my phone.

Connie had already posted lots of pictures of herself and her family in Florida. I liked them all.

She commented 'how's your holiday?'

I commented back 'don't ask.'

My door creaked open. I turned around to see who it was.

I sighed. It was Octavius, Claude's cat. He jumped onto my bed and curled around my lap. I stroked his back and he purred.

There was a knock on the door.

'Come in,' I said.

Amber walked in and she too sat on my bed.

'What are you doing?' She asked.

'Instagraming,' I sighed.

'What's that?'

'Its a social media,'

'What's that?'

I rolled my eyes. It was typical for children to ask hundreds of questions.

'Can I braid your hair?' She asked.

'Sure,' I replied to her as she started to comb her tiny fingers through my long black hair.

She made a long braid and wrapped it around my head attaching a hair clip at the end.

'You're Elsa,' she told me, finishing my hair. Octavius looked at me and meowed.

I checked myself in the mirror. I actually did look like Elsa, that princess from Frozen. It only I had blond hair.

I ruffled Amber's hair 'Nice work, kid.'

She giggled and left my room.

I layed down on my back and closed my eyes.

Octavius moved and sat on my stomach.

My phone rang. I picked it up.

'Hello?' I said

'Hi Raven. Its me, Allen.'

My eyes widened. I quickly sat up causing Octavius to fall of and purr in annoyance.

'H-hello Allen,' I stammered 'how did you get my number?'

'Connie told me,' he admitted. 'Listen Raven, I need to tell you something,'

I could tell he was nervous.

'Yes?' I said softly.

'I-I think I like you,'

'Oh,'

'What's wrong, is that too weird?'

'No, not at all,' I said 'I think I like you too.'

I smiles. I guess I did like him.

'Raven, will you go out with me?' He said.

'Yes,' I finally said.

I could imagine him doing a little fist pump at the other end of the line.

I hung up and fell back onto my bed, squealing in delight.

I have a boyfriend! I thought to myself.
