I had to clean my apartment.

It was so messy, I had to clean it.

I started with my room, then the living room and finally the kitchen.

It was unbelievable how spacious it was after there wasn't any rubbish everywhere.

Seeing as tomorrow was Monday, I had to finish my homework.

I looked at the paper and raised an eyebrow. What is this shit?!

We did not do any of this in class.

I picked up the phone and dialed Connie's number; she was in the same class as me.

The phone rang on the other end and Carl was the one to pick up.

'Y-ello' he said

'Its me, Raven. Is Connie at home?' I asked politely.

'Wait just one minute,' he replied and I could here him call Connie's name on the other end.

'Hi Raven!' She exclaimed.

'Hey Connie. Did you finish the physics homework?' I said getting to the point.

'Yeah, why?'

'I need help!' I cried desperately.

'No worries,'she replied 'I'll let you copy mine at break.'

'Thanks,' I sighed in relief.

There was a silence.

'So, Raven. Are you alright after Friday night? You kind of stormed off without warning.'

I sighed. 'Yes, I'm fine.'

'Did you like the present I gave you?'

'Yeah,' I said holding the wrist that bracelet was on.

My eyes widened.

It wasn't there!

I checked my other wrist but both were empty.

'Hello Raven, you still there?'

I stammered 'ye-e-ah, I'm gonna have to call you back, Connie,'

I hung up.

I searched the house for the bracelet but no luck.

I traced back to yesterday. It was still on when I was at the house. It was still on when I went to work. It was still on when I was attacked.

My eyes grew wider.

I remember.

I remember taking it off when Claude was plastering my scraped limbs.

Then that must mean I left the bracelet at Claude's apartment!

I slapped my hand on my head.

I have to go get it now.
