Once you all finished eating you placed all the dishes into the sink and began to wash them while May played around outside. Ame quickly began to help you clean up the bowls and then laid down on the floor somewhere.
Ame had changed into his full wolf form and was curled up into a ball on the floor. You glanced over at him at the exact same time he opened his eyes.

You quickly blush and look away as he began to chuckle.

You look back at him and pouted angrily. His ear pricked up as he stood up.

"There's a storm coming," he stated as he quickly changed into his human form. You turned to the doorway and noticed a wind picking up outside.

"Your right. I'll go get May," you say as you stepped outside. May was chasing a rabbit around but then stopped as she saw you.

"MAY ITS TIME TO COME INSIDE!!" You called over the wind. She immediately came rushing over and shook off all the snow from her fur. Once she was inside you closed the door behind you as the wind blasted towards the door.

Once the door was closed it began to shake against the wind so you fought against the wind to keep the door up.
Ame quickly stood up and rushed over to help you but you out a hand up to stop him.

The wind had finally stopped fighting against you so you backed away from the door exhausted.

While you were backing away you ended up tripping on your own foot causing you to fall down. Ame rushed to your rescue and helped you sit up.

"May, you should go take a warm shower so you don't catch a cold," you sighed but then plastered a smile onto your face.

"Thanks for helping me, Ame," you said with a smile. His face blushed immediately but he just shook it off.

"Um...Anyways. I should get going now," he muttered as he stood up and changed into his wolf half human form.

"No wait!" You yelled as you stumbled to stand up.

"You can't go...at least not in this kind of weather," you explained. Ame gave out a huff as he changed back to his human form.

"Okay, so where do I sleep?" He asked.

"Well, May usually sleeps on the mattress while I usually sleep on the couch," you said as you held your chin.

"Why don't you two sleep together ?" Ame asked a little confused.

"May sleep walks, and when she does she changes into her full wolf form," you explained as May walked in with a pair of pajamas on.
She was rubbing her eyes sleepily and yawning.

"You ready *yawn* to go to *yawn* sleep yet?" She asked as she sat down into her mattress.

"Yep. And Ame is staying here for the night," you explained. May's eyes widened in happiness.

"Yay! It's like a sleep over!" She exclaimed happily jumping up and down.

May then laid down on her mattress and closed her eyes.

"I'll just sleep on the floor," he whispered.

"Not if you want to be trampled by a wolf pup in the middle of the night," you chuckled lightly. He rolled his eyes but then smiled.

"Then what if I join you on the couch?" He asked while avoiding eye contact.

Blush crept up your face.

"I-I guess," you stuttered out. You mentally slapped yourself when Ame chuckled.

You walked over to the couch and pulled it out into a bed.

"Oh so it's one of those couches," Ame said as he hopped onto the bed.
You just nodded in response.

"I'll be right back. I'm going to take a quick shower," you said as you walked out of the room.
~time skip shower~
Once you got out of the shower you quickly put on your fresh pajamas and walked into the living room.

You saw that May was already curled up in a ball on the mattress snoring and Ame wide awake on the bed/couch.

"Your still awake?" You asked surprised.

"Yeh," he responded with no tone in his voice.
You walked over to the bed/couch and laid down a foot away from Ame.
Ame took a deep sigh and closed his eyes as you switched off the light.

"Goodnight Ame," you whispered.

"Goodnight (Y/N)," he whispered back.

You didn't go to sleep just yet though. You had too much thoughts running in your mind.
'When is dad going to get over mom's death and come out of his room? How is he surviving this long without eating anything!?!? What if he's dead by now!?! What if-' your thoughts were cut off when Ame rolled over and wrapped his arms around you gently.

Your face burst red as warmth engulfed you.

"(Y/N)......don't leave me," he whispered softly in his sleep. You began to heat up even more as he nuzzled his face into the crook of your neck.

"A-Ame?" You stuttered as you tried to snap him out of his sleep. He didn't wake up and just kept his arms wrapped around you.

"I won't ever let you go," he whispered. A shiver ran up your spine as his breath hit your neck.

'What is he dreaming about?' You thought to yourself. Ame began to shiver so you wrapped your arms around him too.

Quickly and surprised Ame snapped his eyes open. Yours and his eyes widened in shock and realization.

"G-GOMEN!" You half yelled as you shoved him away. You ended up pushing Ame off the bed causing him to fall into the floor.

"Ouch, it's okay I hugged you first," he mumbled as he hopped back onto the bed/couch.

"A-Ame?" You stuttered as blush crept up your face.

"Yeh?" He asked.

"C-Can you hug me again?" You asked as blush burst into your face.

Ame chuckled lightly but then nodded.

You two fell asleep in each other's arms peacefully and warm.
