Once you and May got back to your house you raced into the kitchen and prepared dinner. You first began by chopping up some potatoes you found in the forest somewhere while May was trying to rip off all the feathers of a huge bird she caught.

"When do you think daddy will get out of his room?" May asked as she began to cut the bird into chunks of meat.

"I'm not sure... And be careful with that knife. I don't want you to cut yourself," you quickly replied as you slid the now cut potatoes into a pot of boiling water.

May quickly finished cutting the huge bird and handed you the meat chunks. You grabbed the meat chunks from May and tossed them into the pot.

"It will take about an hour or so for the soup to be ready so you wanna play outside?" You asked as you placed a lid on the soup.

"YES!" May yelled as she changed into her full wolf form and began to howl with happiness. You began to laugh but then froze when an angry voice came from your dad's bedroom.

"SHUT UP!!!" Yelled your dad from his bedroom. May quickly stopped her howls and whimpered softly.

"Come on May lets go play outside. We don't want to bother dad any longer," you mumbled as you began to walk outside.

May followed close behind and then hopped down from the stairs.

"Why is dad so mad at us?" May asked as she looked up at you with a frown on her face. You just shook your head and frowned.

"He just doesn't want us to be howling because it reminds him too much of our mom," you explained.

You then changed into your full wolf form and turned to May.

"Let's race!" You exclaimed happily. May nodded and got ready to start running.

"Ready! Set!!! GO!!!" Both you and May yelled as you raced off.

You were ahead of May and was laughing happily as she chased after you. May began to giggle and then howled. You howled along with her not caring if your dad heard. You then raced ahead even more and hopped into a pile of snow.

"Wait May!" You yelled as May jumped towards the same snow pile. She ended up slamming into you as snow flew everywhere.

You and May began to giggle.

You stopped giggling when you heard a rustle in the bushes nearby. May quickly hopped out of the snow pile and began to snarl.

'She's doing what I did a few hours ago!' You thought proudly. As May began to snarl Ame hopped from out of the bushes.

"Easy there," He said as he changed into his human form. May quickly changed into her human form too and rushed behind you. You slowly changed into your human form and squinted at Ame.

"What are you doing here?" You asked as you placed your hands on your hips. Ame just shrugged his shoulders and pointed to your house.

"I smelt something delicious within that house over there so I was tempted to go check it out," he explained.

"Oh," you replied looking down.

"Do you wanna have some?" May asked as she walked out from behind you.

"Um...if it's okay with your sister," he answered as he looked at you.

You scoffed softy but then nodded. A wide smile spread across Ame's face.

"Great. So what's in the soup?" He asked as we began to walk to the house.

"Just some stuff me and May found in the forest," you replied as you hugged yourself to keep you warm.

"Oh.....um..are you cold?" He asked in a worried tone. You quickly shook you head and squeezed yourself tighter as you shivered.

He surprisingly wrapped you in his jacket so that you and him shared the jacket with his arm wrapped around you. Warmth spread across you body which made you sigh with relief.

"Liar," he mumbled with a smirk. May looked at you two and smiled happily.

"You two look cute together!" She exclaimed as she raised both of her arms in the air. You and Ame blush at your comment but remain sharing the jacket.

"W-Well we're here," you stated as you removed yourself from Ame's jacket. He seemed a bit unhappy when you did but you just ignored it.

You stepped into the house and walked into the kitchen. May and Ame followed close behind.
Once you got into the kitchen you removed the lid from the pot causing a burst of flavor. Ame stopped in the doorway of the kitchen in took in the smell of the delicious soup.

"So where's your parents?" Ame asked causing you to flinch.

You turned to Ame with a serious look on your face while May looked down at the floor.

"My mom who's half wolf half human got shot by poachers about a month ago and my dad is locked away in his room crying about her death," you explained sadly. Ame quickly frowned.

"I'm sorry for bringing it up...I didn't mean t-""it's okay," you quickly interrupted. You then turned your attention back to the soup and began to pour it into three bowls.

Ame walked over to your table and took a seat as May did the same. You quickly slammed down the bowls and took a seat next to May facing Ame.

He had a concerned look on his face but quickly shook it off as he began to eat the soup. His eyes widened immediately.

"This is awsome!" May exclaimed.

"It's amazing!" Ame exclaimed as he ate faster. You blushed at their comments.

"Arigoto(thank you)," you replied happily.
