You slowly opened your eyes weakly and searched around your surroundings. Around you was crumbled rocks and boulders, a dead bear, and lastly no Ame or Ari in sight.

You shifted, trying to sit up, but pain stung throughout your whole body. Forced down onto the ground, you coughed up blood.

'Where's Ame? Where's Ari? How did this happen again?' You questioned yourself as a tear slid out of the corner of your eye.

'Am I going to die before I get to see my mother?' You thought as you rested your cheek on the ground.

A small shaking sound snapped you out of your thoughts. You looked up towards the noise and spotted tumbling pebbles.

Following the trail of falling pebbles you caught sight of Ari! He was struggling to climb down the small cliff to get to you, slipping on some pebbles every once in a while.

You tried to sit up again but pain took the best of you again.

"A-A-Ari?" You managed to say weakly as he neared the ground. He turned his head towards you with sparkling, teary eyes.

"Y-Your okay!" He yelled happily as he raced over to you, stumbling on a few rocks.

You were about to stop him but decided to let him hug you. He engulfed you in a hug quickly, nearly knocking you over.

"I was scared that you died," he mumbled into your ear as he hugged you tightly.

"I'm not g-gonna die that e-easily before s-seeing my mother," you laughed as you slowly patted his back.

Ari released you and looked at the state you were in. Your head had a few gashes on it, bruises spread across your legs and arms, and lastly . . . One of your legs seemed twisted out of place.

"(Y/N)! Your leg! I-it's. . ." Ari hesitated as he crawled on his knees towards your broken leg.

You moved it away from him, fighting the pain.

"N-No it's fine," you reassured him through gritted teeth.

"No it's not! I've seen a broken leg before and even had one before! I know how much it hurts, but we have to fix it," Ari slightly exclaimed as he searched for something useful.

Ari spotted a nearby branch and raced over to it. He picked it up quickly and returned to you.

"This might hurt a little so please hang in there," Ari murmured as he gently pressed both of his hands to your broken leg.

"Okay," you whispered as you squeezed your eyes closed, waiting for the extreme pain to come.

Crack

"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" You screamed out in pain as blood gushed out of your leg.

"GAAAAHHH!! It HURTS!! AHH!" You screamed out as tears escaped your eyes.

Ari frantically pressed the branch against your leg and wrapped it up with his shirt. He tightened the shirt around the branch and your leg causing you to scream out again.

"(Y/N) I don't think we should continue our-"

"No-o! I-I want to s-see my mother!" You yelled as you gritted your teeth.

"I need to see her smile again," you cried as tears flowed out of your eyes.

Ari wrapped an arm around your shoulder, comforting you.

"H-Hey! You guys okay?!" Ame called down from the top of the cliff.

"Yes! But (Y/N) broke her leg!" Ari called back as he released you and tried to help you stand.

You tried to put off less pressure on your broken leg, but it still hurt like hell.

"Is she alright?!" Ame yelled back worriedly.

"Yes! But how will you get down here?!" Ari called back in reply.

"The same way you got down there!" Ame yelled as he walked closer up to the edge of the cliff.

"Okay, but you might get hurt," Ari mumbled under his breath as Ame began to climb down.

"Trust me, Ame won't fall," you reassured Ari with a small smile.

Ari turned to you and nodded with a smile across his face.

||When Ame finally got down safely||

"(Y/N)! Are you okay?!" Ame asked worriedly as he raced over to your side.

You nodded your head and smiled at Ame.

"I'm fine," you chirped as you fought against the pain.

'I don't need Ari AND Ame to worry about me on this journey. It will only slow us down' you thought as Ame softly kissed your cheek.

Ari slightly glared at Ame but then immediately stopped as he met his gaze with yours.

"Well we should get moving . . . I guess," He murmured as he began to follow a trail of wheel marks.

"Yeah we should," Ame agreed as he picked you up bridal style.

You smiled at Ame as he began to walk.
Following Ari and the trail of wheel marks. You found a camp filled with grown men, but thank god they were all asleep.

"Do you think they have my mom?" You asked/whispered to Ame.

Ame shrugged his shoulders and slowly approached the campsite.

"Let's search the place for any clues or hints," Ame murmured as he walked towards a small tent.

Ari grew frightened and followed close behind. He shook in fear as he walked.

You all approached the tent and lifted the entrance. Inside it was pitch dark which caused you to grow scared.

"Let's go," Ame whispered as he walked into the tent. Ari quickly scampered to your side as he shook.

"Can w-we please hurry up?" He asked as he looked around in fear.

"Whatever you say scaredy cat," Ame huffed as he walked faster.

In the tent was a small tunnel, you all followed.

Towards the end of the tunnel there was torch light and something else in the room.

As you all approached you spotted a cage in the room.

You narrowed your eyes to catch a better glimpse of what was inside, they widened at what you saw.

"Mom!" You yelled as you hopped out of Ame's arms, not caring if your broken leg stung at you.

You stumbled over to her as she stretched her arms through the bars of the cage.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)!" Your mother yelled as she intertwined her fingers with yours.

Happy tears sprang from her eyes as she softly squeezed your hand.

"I missed you so much," you cried as Ame and Ari stayed in the back.

"I have too!. . . What are you doing here? You must escape now! They'll-"

Click

You stiffened at the click behind you.

The tip of a gun pressed against the back of your head.

"Back away from the cage slowly," a gruff voice ordered...
