A dark mass twists and churns through the city of New York, wreaking chaos and destruction in its wake as cars are sent flying, pavements explode, and building are demolished. (Y/n), Newt, Tina, Jacob, and Queenie stood on a rooftop edge, watching the havoc going on below. "Geez... Is that the Obscuria—thing?" Jacob as sirens wail in the distance and Newt stares at the scale of damage.

     "That's more powerful than any Obscurial I have ever heard of..." He says breathlessly, (Y/n) stares at the Obscurus that tore through the streets with distorted wails and screeches. If she listened closely, she could hear something familiar within the mass and her eyes widen slightly.

     'Credence...?' She thought to herself before a particularly loud explosion is heard in the distance, making her snap out of her thoughts. The city beneath them begins to burn as Newt shoves his case into Tina's hands and takes out a journal from his pocket.

     "If I don't come back," He said, grimacing a bit, "Look after my creatures. Everything that you need to know is in there." He informed as he handed her his journal.

     "What?" Tina asked with confusion as Newt looked out at the Obscurus as its mass got bigger and bigger.

     "They're not killing it." He said as he looked at Tina and their eyes lock with each other, as if talking through their gaze before he jumps off the roof and Disapparates.

     "NEWT!" Tina shouted after him in distraught. (Y/n) bites her lip while clenching her engagement ring in her pocket and letting out a huff.

     "I'm going with him," She while stepping onto the edge of the rooftop, before Tina could protest she looked back at her friend, "I have a feeling Percival has something to do with this. And I'm going to die trying in order to find out what." She said while jumping off and Disapparating herself. Tina huffs and slams the case into Queenie's arms.

     "You heard him—look after them!" She says before Disapparating.

     The Times Square is in total chaos as buildings are on fire, people are screaming and running in all directions as cars lie destroyed along the street. Percival prowled through the square, ignoring the distress and panic around him with only one thing set in his mind. The Obscurus writhed and swirled at the end of the street as its energy grows more ferocious—moving through layers upon layers of hurt and anger along with loneliness and pain, flickers of red light sparking from within the mass. Credence's face is distorted and unrecognizable within the dark mass as it's filled with pain, Percival stands before it with a look and sense of triumph. Newt Apparates from farther down the street and watched, (Y/n) Apparating next to him which surprised him at first before he sees how determined she was while staring at the back of her fiancé.

     "To survive so long," Percival shouted over the roars of the Obscurus, "with this inside of you, Credence, is a miracle!" (Y/n)'s eyes widen as her guess had been right, "You are a miracle. Come with me—think of what we could achieve together!"

     The Obscurus moved in closer to Percival, before letting out a scream from writhing as a mass of dark energy bursts out and knocks the Auror to the ground. The force sends a shock wave throughout the atmosphere in of the square as (Y/n) and Newt dive behind a fallen car for cover. Tina Apparates into the square and takes cover by another burning vehicle close to the two and the three look at one another.

     "Newt! (Y/')!" She shouted.

     "It's Credence!" (Y/n) shouted at Tina's eyes widen.

     "He's the Obscurial!" Newt shouted as well.

     "But he's not a child." Tina exclaimed.

     "I know—but I saw him—his power must be so strong—he's somehow managed to survive. It's incredible!" Newt explained as the two women looked at each other and at Newt as the Obscurus lets out another ear ringing scream.

     "Newt!" Tina shouted.

     "Save him." (Y/n) pleaded as she and Tina rush out towards Percival. Newt nods and Disapparated. As Percival gets closer and closer to the Obscurus that continued to scream and wail at his presence, he takes out his wand before Tina runs up from behind him, firing a spell at her superior but he turns just in time and reacts quickly by deflecting the spell. This gives the Obscurus the chance to escape and vanish. Percival is thoroughly irritated by this as he advanced towards Tina and deflected her spells with ease.

     "Tina. You're always turning where you are least wanted." He said bluntly while summoning an abandoned car that swung through the air, about to hit Tina as she dives out of the way and (Y/n) deflects the car using a spell with ease. The two glare at each other as Percival clicked his tongue, "You're supposed to be at home waiting for me to finish putting you in your place." He said as (Y/n) scowled.

     "I just so happened to have a change of plans, my love." She said as he scoffed and runs a hand back through his hair into its neat undercut.

     "Well then, my sweet doll of mine, I suppose that makes the two of us," He said before quickly Disapparating before she could cast a restraining spell on him.

     After a long chase of pursuing and attempting to calm the Obscurus down, Newt finally catches up to it when it takes a dive down into a subway. Aurors from MACUSA also happened to surround the entrance to the subway along with Percival, a look of authority and calculation across his face, "Bar the area. I don't want anyone else down there!" He ordered as the Aurors had pointed their wands at the pavement and into the sky and draw an invisible energy field around the entrance. More Aurors arrive as this happens and (Y/n) Apparates and stands among her colleagues, seeing Percival in the distance start to head down into the subway. As the magical field is almost complete, Tina rolls underneath it and dashes into the subway without being seen by anyone besides (Y/n). 

     "I need to find Madam Picquery." She says, having faith that Tina and Newt could handle things down below while she can take control from up top. Looking around for a colleague she knew, she finds Magali and rushed up to her, "Magali!" The woman turns and sees (Y/n) and the two quickly approach each other.

     "There you are! Where have you been?" She asked as (Y/n) looked around and back at her friend.

     "There's no time to explain, do you know where Madam President is?" She asked.

     "Um, I think she's back at MACUSA giving some more orders to us but she should be hear soon. Why do you ask?"  Magali asked with a head tilt, (Y/n) grimaces as she looked at her before sighing.

     "You'll see soon, right now, we need to worry about the No-Maj at the time being because there's without a doubt they'll come here wanting a fight." She said as Magali nodded, since (Y/n) was second in command after Percival, she begins to give orders around while looking over at the entrance of the subway with a look of worry. 'Be careful Newt and Tina...'
