Leftover Dump Pt. 2

A/N: A second part with the last things I have left over from "season 1" stuff I wrote. The grammar and writing style aren't super polished just like the first part. This is more of a summary of some things rather than actual scenes of them happening.
I'm pretty sure I said this before but the canon of these "extra things" I post like the SS and the random bits are subject to change depending on how I write everything out in the main story. Things that I may have mentioned randomly might get an actual focus in the story so please be aware of that!
Also, I do not have a timeline for any of this stuff honestly. I might make one after I deal with season 2, but for now, who knows?

If Jinx brought Hayden with her to one of her jobs, the girl would be horrified by what she saw. The pure carnage and destruction that her lover is capable of... people don't just hurt others for no reason. Who would do something like this? It's beyond terrible?

That's all she could think until Jinx looked back at her in the middle of the chaos. Those eyes are mirthful and bright with a hint of insecurity as they hope this didn't cross the line and that this didn't push her away. That they could still be- whatever they might be.

Hayden closes her eyes for a second, though it feels longer, and she smiles. It's a shy smile, one that only Jinx has had the privilege to see. It's embarrassed and personal because Jinx makes her feel so many things in such a small amount of time. Everything else around them is irrelevant, Jinx looked to Hayden because that's who matters to her, and Hayden's heart can't help but flutter knowing that.

The first time Jinx murdered someone directly in front of Hayden, it was the scariest thing for her. It seemed to come out of nowhere. They were together and Jinx separated for only a moment, but that moment was more than enough time for someone to come over and question her. They were asking her about seeing her as an enforcer before, and while they were being a bit confrontational, Hayden resolved to try to be cordial until Jinx returned. She did not expect Jinx to shoot their hand as soon as she saw them reach for her from a distance. The sudden blood froze her in place as the blue-haired girl approached and they cried out in pain. Jinx was quiet as she came over and looked at her lover, a simmering rage that the ex-enforcer truly wasn't familiar with radiating off of her.

She asked what they were talking about, and it took Hayden a moment to get herself together but she eventually did and quietly answered her. She didn't even get a chance to suspect anything as the very next second, Jinx shot the man again but this time in the head. In fear, Hayden clung to Jinx, not able to understand what happened, but her eyes stayed glued to the body. Jinx took a moment to calm down while letting Hayden hold onto her, the action helping her ground herself as well.

Eventually, once Jinx realized Hayden was basically traumatized, she had to (first spiral a bit) before trying her best to apologize and explain herself. Some comfort, the apology, and physical touch altogether? Hayden forgave her easily of course. How could she be upset looking into Jinx's eyes and seeing nothing but concern and love there?

Neither of them realizes it's happening, but Jinx slowly conditions Hayden to become desensitized to her life. Murder and terrorism are her norms, but even though she knows Hayden looks past that to see her, she always catches those glimpses of the 'Piltover Influence' as she calls it. When Hayden can't help but pull away from certain things, topics, or sights. Jinx doesn't like it, she doesn't want her lover to ever pull away for any reason. So she has to work on it. Death is normal in Zaun, that's a fact. Just walking around can get her familiar with that, Jinx knows she probably came across at least a few corpses when she was lost before.

Crime is common too, and the best way to show that is to let it happen to them. Leave something out; it's stolen, Stay too close to certain areas; you get mugged (They can handle it of course. Use your gun Hayden, it's okay.) Look away from your drink; you get drugged.

And the easiest and yet the saddest one, it's all too easy to turn Hayden away from Piltover both culture-wise and systemically. Piltover hurt Hayden, Jinx knows that, so whenever she brings up how it hurt her too, she always has her lover's undivided attention. Hayden listens and agrees with her problems with Piltover and while she does not endorse the terrorism, She grasps some understanding of why. But she can't see it. She can't see that sight again, Jinx is the only reason she could move on from that night on the bridge. It was too much for her. Jinx doesn't see it that way but accepts it. Best 2 out of 3 she supposed.
