As soon as she got to her hideout she screamed and started throwing around everything in her reach. It didn't even matter if a random gadget or two went over the edge or not. She was angry and frustrated. Even if Hayden wanted to leave her, how could she! How could she just leave! And-and-and

"You really are just a walking disaster ruining families wherever you go." Jinx froze in her spot as a sudden sense washed over her. She felt sick.

She let out a gag as she fell to her knees and gripped her head, "No, No, No, No! I don't! I don't destroy families-I didn't, I-" Even through her denials Mylo's voice didn't stop.

"It wasn't enough to kill your own family, now you want to take away Hayden's too?" His laugh echoed in her head and she kept shaking her head but she couldn't refute any of it. Eventually, she cried herself to the point of exhaustion and by then, the thoughts circling in her head were her own, the frustration she originally aimed at Hayden easily turned into self-loathing.

Why did she leave her there? Hayden... didn't want to stay with her family, so why did she leave her? That was stupid of her and now Hayden hated her. She hated her and was never coming back to her. And how could she even suggest killing the girl's parents? What was she thinking! Why did she always lose her cool so quickly whenever Hayden was involved... but her parents deserve to die for trying to take her away-

But she shouldn't have said that to her! She should have handled it without her knowing, or-or just took her back and left them alone, or even just threatened their lives so they wouldn't try it again. She should've never told her they had to- She was so stupid.

Why did she leave her? Why? She knew Hayden didn't want to be away from her for so long, her hug proved it, and even through her heightened emotions she could understand that... but, but, she wanted her to hurt like she had been hurting. Jinx had spent so long searching for her in fear and worry, and finding out Hayden went willingly was too much for her. But that was wrong, she shouldn't have done that, she shouldn't have left her. Why did she leave her? Hayden hated being alone so why would she leave her there? Hayden had a fear of people giving up on her so why did she leave her? Hayden made it clear she didn't want to stay so, WHY. DID. SHE. LEAVE. HER?

As she laid on the floor drained from all her crying, silent tears still found their way down her face as all she could do was whimper to herself against the onslaught of constant berating she felt she very much deserved in her mind. She laid there curled up until she ultimately fell asleep with only one thought that finally dominated the rest.

How could she fix this?
