Mackie looked in the direction of Pietro and pushed him out of the way before he got there, she then ran and pushed Hawkeye out of the way. The jet fired the bullets, which hit Mackie instead of Hawkeye. Pietro cried out and ran over to Mackie. Mackie coughed "I didn't see that c-com..." She fell to the ground. Pietro held her in his arms, he cried, he then picked her up and ran to the helicarrier.
