I'm really sorry I know it's been forever since I've updated but school is annoying and I've been really tired. So here's the chapter and I'll be updating my other book soon. IDK when again I'm tired.m

Patton walked into the kitchen the morning after his date and saw Roman with his head in the fridge. Patton quickly chirped up and gave him a tackle hug from behind.

Patton: Thanks again for helping me last night... Wait a second your not Roman

Patton released who he had thought was Roman and looked at him. He looked like Roman but Romans hair was brown with red bangs and bright red streaks in it while his hair was all brown except for a grey streak in the front and while Roman didn't have any facial hair he had a mustache. 

Mustache Roman: Well hello there I'm Remus

Patton: Oh. Hi Remus I'm Patton. Sorry I mistook you for Roman-

Roman: Remus! There you are! Oh hey Patton looks like you met Remus. So how was your date last night?

Patton: Good! Thank you so much again for helping me get ready. Wait! What is your brother doing here?

Remus: I got kicked out!

Patton: I'm sorry

Remus: Nah it's good. Plus I now go to power high! I mean I'm not staying in your dorms this whole time they just haven't set me up with one yet I only got here last night.

Patton: Thats great! Wait how are you in-

Remus: I'm in the support and tech course not the hero one. So you went on a date.... Do anything special after that

Roman: REMUS!

Patton: What?

Roman: He's ace! Your ace! What! Why are you like this?

Patton: Wait what was he talking about?

Remus: Did you-

Virgil: NO! Nope we are not ruining the Pat. The Pat will stay innocent!

Remus: Awww. You guys are no fun.

Roman: Good morning my chemically imbalanced romance!

Remus: Ooh!

Roman: SHUT UP!

Deceit: Everyone get up we're going to the gym.

Roman shot Virgil a surprised look before standing up and stepping out of the classroom. The entire class headed to the gym and Janus stoped at the door. He reached over and pressed a panel on the wall. Suddenly the wall opened and slowly pulled outwards. The students watched in slight awe as Deceit picked up a small package and held it up.

Deceit: Gym uniforms. Today we'll be fighting using your powers so you'll need to wear these. They're fire proof, water proof, tear resistant, the whole shim-shabam. The school was tired of kids destroying all their clothes training. So grab one in your size and head over to the changing rooms. Also there are both long and short sleeve's so pick which ever one works best with your power or whatever you like better. 

The students all grabbed a package and headed for the locker rooms. Virgil looked up as Roman tapped his arm. 

Roman: Hey so umm... I need to go to the bathroom I'll meet you back in the gym.

Virgil nodded and walked into the locker rooms. And found a locker with his name on it. He quickly opened his locker and got changed. He looked around at everyone changing. Oh god why didn't he just go with Roman to change in the bathroom. He didn't really like it when people were watching him change. He quickly changed his pants and took off his shirt. As Virgil was folding his shirt and putting it in his locker Mason Carols, the person with the locker next to him slammed his locker shut.

Mason: Where's you boyfriend?
Mason gave Virgil a smirk. 

Virgil: What!?

Mason: Come one Roman. What is he too shy to change with the rest of us.

Virgil: Shut up. He just needed to use the bathroom.

Mason: Yah sure like I believe that. See you during the fights.

Mason smiled at Virgil and walked out. Virgil tried to shake off the conversation and put on his gym shirt. Virgil walked into the gyn pulling his sweatshirt zipper up. Sure he probably wasn't suppose to wear it but he never went anywhere without one. Virgil walked over the where Logan, Patton, and Roman were talking. They all sat down when Deceit walked up up to the front of the classroom.

Deceit: I'll be assigning partners for todays fight. Rules are 1 you aren't allowed to seriously harm your opponent, 2 you must stay in the fighting arena, 3 you can tap out and you should if you think you're in serious danger and if someone taps out you have to stop, 4 always listen to me and my directions. Don't listen or break any of these rules you're in big trouble. And trust me you don't want to know what my punishments are.

Deceit looked over the group of students as they gulped. He was right they didn't want to test Deceits threat. Deceit clapped his gloved hands together.

Deceit: Great! Now the first pair is Virgil and Mason.

Virgil gulped of course he was facing Mason. Virgil shrugged off his sweatshirt and walked into the fighting arena. Virgil looked at Mason who had a smile on his face then to Deceit waiting for the fight to start.

Deceit: Ready... Set.... GO!

Virgil stepped into a fighting stance and tried to think of his first move. Mason on the other hand charged forward changing his fists to metal. Virgil ducked under a punch and moved behind Mason's back. Virgil grabbed onto Mason's shadow while blocking another punch. OW! Bad idea he had forgotten that Mason's hands were not rocks and it hurt. Just as Mason stepped forward to attack again Virgil ordered his shadow to block his path. Mason stumbled backward in surprise at the new barrier but quickly regained his balance. He ran forward and tried to punch his shadow but fell forwards when his arm went right through it.

Virgil: Nice move there. Punching a shadow

Mason: Shut up. You know thats good. You're shadows are even less effective then illusions.

Virgil snorted and Mason went to run through the shadow only to be thrown to the ground by it.

Virgil: Oh you really thought that. I control whether or not the shadows solid rock for brains

Mason: Get him off me!

Virgil: How about... No.

The shadow pushed Mason down harder so he would stop moving under his grasp. Mason tried to wiggle out for a few more minutes turning his body to and from rock with no avail. Finally Deceit stepped forward and ended the match.

Deceit: Well it's obvious Mason can't move any more so Virgil you win.

Virgil returned his and Mason's shadows back to normal and hid a smile when he heard his friends cheering for him. Mason grumbled getting up and moving back to where his friends were. Virgil sat down next to Patton who gave him a big hug and Roman who gave him a high five.

Roman: Nice job Panic at the everywhere

Virgil: Thanks princey.

Patton: Virgil that was amazing! Who knew you were such a good fighter!

Logan: Yes Virgil that was quite impressive. 

Virgil: Thanks guys.

Deceit: Ok settle down. Next pair is Roman and Logan. 

Roman: You ready Nerdy Wolverine? 

Logan: What...?

Virgil: Just say yes and move on

Logan: Umm. Yes?

Patton giggled at the two boys as they walked into the fighting arena. Roman quickly settled into a fighting stance and waited for Deceit to start the match. Logan took an extra second to look over Roman's stance before assuming a position of his own. 

Deceit: FIGHT!

Logan leapt backwards as a shot of fire blasted towards him. Roman was quicker then expected. Logan quickly shifted his stance to mirror Romans before re-opening him mind to his thoughts.

Roman(Head): Flame to the face, sweep take down.

Logan smiled and rolled to the floor a second before Roman's fire reached him and effectively avoided his leg already sweeping the ground.

Logan: Good plan Roman.

Roman(Head): Damn it! He knew it was coming. Damn mind reader.

Roman: Wait

Logan flinched back as Roman started mentally screaming.

Logan: AHH! ROMAN!

Roman: Gotcha

Roman set Logans pant legs on fire and Logan dropped to the floor and rolled to put it out. Roman hoped on top of Logan pinning his arms above his head.

Logan(Head): GET OF ROMAN!

Roman: AH!

Logan felt Romans grip loosen in surprise and he quickly slipped his arms out of his grasp all together. Logan put his hands up and everyone watched as a dark blue glow surrounded Roman. Logan pushed his hands forward and Roman suddenly flew backwards into the wall on the other side of the room.

Roman felt his head smack against the wall and his body slump against the floor.

Roman(Head): Damn it Logan that hurt.

He looked up to see Logan still on the floor wincing as he tried to get up but couldn't. Roman had burned his legs, not enough to severely hurt him, but enough that it would hurt to walk for the next day or 2. Roman started to push himself up when suddenly Deceit stepped forward into the arena.

Deceit: OK you 2 thats enough! You're fights a tie. 

Roman: Come on. We were so close!

Deceit: Suuurrree. Can ether of you stand?

Roman start to push himself up again when suddenly a throbbing pain in his head crashed onto him. He groaned as he reached up putting a hand to the back of his head pulling it away he saw blood. 

Deceit: Ok well. Virgil, Patton you guys help these 2 to the nurses office.

Patton: Sure!

Virgil just grunted and stood up. Patton walked over to Logan and helped him up, putting Logan's arm around his shoulder. Virgil walked over to Roman and out a hand. Roman reached forward before quickly pulling his hand back.

Roman: Probably not a good idea. I'm probably over heating and I don't want to hurt you.

Virgil: Well... I have an idea

Virgil closed his eye's for a second summoning a few shadows into the shape of his silhouette. The shadow held out it's hand and Roman took it getting up. The 4 boys walked out of the gym and started across the lawn to the nurses office. Logan leaning on Patton and Roman on the shadow Virgil had summoned.

Roman: Hey sorry about your legs Logan. I tried not to make the flames to hot.

Logan: It is perfectly fine Roman. I also did not intend to harm you so drastically. 

Patton: You 2 fought so well! Hey why did you guys keep randomly wincing. 

Virgil: Yah it looked like you guys were talking or something.

Logan: We were. I was reading Romans mind though most of the fight, that was how I avoided most of his attacks. Though Roman did have the great idea to start mentally screaming at me.

Roman: AH Not so loud my heads on fire.

Virgil: Wait I'm sorry your tactic to beat Logan was to scream in your head?

Roman: I mean it worked.

Patton: Until you got thrown into a wall.

Roman: Ah shut up.

The 4 boys soon arrived at the infirmary and were greeted by the nurse.

Nurse: Now what happened to you boys?

Patton: We were fighting in Power Enhancement today.

Nurse: Say no more. Sit down

Virgil and Patton helped Roman and Logan to a bed and sat down across from them. After the nurse examined their injuries she went of to grab some medical supplies. Logan laid down and yawned rubbing his eye's under his glasses.

Patton: You ok Logie?

Logan: Yes I am adequate. I am just tired using my powers to effect living beings takes a lot of energy.

Patton: But we've seen you lift larger things with no problem.

Logan: Yes. But living begins move while I'm lifting them and it takes a lot more energy to hold an object in the air while they're moving.

Roman: Well trust me. You did fine lifting me if the bump on my head has anything to say.

Logan: Thank you Roman.

Virgil flopped onto the couch the second they all got back to their dorm. Roman walked over and picked up his legs placing them on his lap so he could sit. Logan and Patton sat in the two chairs heavily.

Virgil: I'm. So. Tired.

Roman: Why does Power Enhancement have to be our first class. My heads been killing me all day.

Patton: I'll grab you some ice Ro.

Roman: Thanks Pat. Hey do you still need some help with your math homework? Because it looks like your boyfriend is out.

Patton sputtered at the word boyfriend and looked over at Logan who was fast asleep in the chair.

Patton(Head): Look at him! Logans so cute. 

Virgil and Roman just laughed at Patton's blush creeping up his face.

Virgil: You're such a useless gay

Patton: HEY!

Patton threw the ice pack at Roman and Virgil on the couch, Roman catching it and quickly putting it against the back of his head. 

Roman: Come on Pat. Just let me grab my bag and I'll help you with your math.

Patton: Thanks Ro.

Roman pushed Virgils legs off his lap and grabbed his bag heading with Patton into his room. Virgil pulled out his phone and walked up to his room and called his dad.

Virgil: Hey dad

L.Dad: Hey Virge! Whats up

Virgil: Nothing much just figured I'd call you before bed.

L.Dad: Aww thanks V!

Virgil talked with his dad some more before heading to bed. Slipping under his covers he felt sleep grab on and pull him under

Hey again! Sorry about the bad ending but I was low key doing this instead of homework and I just needed to end it. Sorry again about how long this took
