Harry Potter

Later on, the same day, 1st May 1998, Neville left the Room of Requirement. It was late. People were starting to settle down when he left. Not many noticed he had left, but June always felt uneasy since Neville was supposedly in charge of Dumbledore's Army now. "Why did he leave?" She asked Willaim, not making a big deal of it, just in case it was one. "I'm not sure, maybe to get extra food for everyone." It didn't really comfort her, but she pretended like it did. It could have convinced Willaim. "It's okay, we're safe here. And you're skilled in wandless magic now, and I can appreciate it. We are safe." It was nice when he tried to reassure her. He just wanted to make her smile. He hated seeing her sad; from the first time he saw her frown, Willaim had decided to try to cheer her up whenever she needed it. To him, June didn't deserve to feel an ounce of sorrow. "Thank you." She said, kissing his cheek before resting her head on his shoulder as they rested against the wall.

After a while, the portrait was opened again, and Neville was back. He announced he had a surprise for everyone, not that Seamus took him seriously. Until, of course, he revealed Harry Potter, Ronald Weasley and Hermione Granger. People were over the moon, especially Ginny Weasley. They all discussed something they had to find to defeat Voldemort, but June needed to pay more attention. To her, this meant danger. If Harry Potter was at Hogwarts, Voldemort couldn't be far behind. An attack would happen somewhere soon. She knew she'd fight; it was the right thing to do; it's what she'd been training to do. But selfishly, she wanted her birthday first and more time with them all before the battle.

Soon, Snape caught on to Harry Potter being in the building, and everyone insisted that everyone leave the Room of Requirement and line up for an assembly as usual. Hoping people wouldn't notice their reappearance. June was given a spare Hufflepuff uniform to blend in with everyone else easily. She wasn't used to the standing Great Hall, but being just a side character in the life of heroes, she blended in. After all, who would notice the random muggle-born reappear when people whispered about Harry Potter's possible return to Hogwarts. Only Dumbledore's Army knew for sure.

Snape began his speech:
"Many of you are surely wondering why I have summoned you here at this hour. It has come to my attention that earlier this evening... Harry Potter was sighted in Hogsmeade." People started to talk more and more about it. Nobody could believe it. Things were finally happening. "I mention this hoping that the truth will be supported by rumour. This comes as little surprise for me and a few select staff members. For some time, we have considered Mr. Potter's return to Hogwarts to be not only possible but inevitable.
Consequently, in the past several months and under my specific direction, exhaustive defensive strategies have been employed to defeat any attempt Mr. Potter might make to breach these walls. But know this. Should anyone, student or staff, attempt to aid Mr Potter, that person will be punished in a manner consistent with the severity of their transgression. Rest assured: So long as I am Headmaster at Hogwarts, Harry Potter will never again step foot in this castle." A few death-eater children in Slytherin clapped to this; Sirenna had never been so disgusted by her own house. Snape waved at them to shut up as he carried on talking. "Now then. If anyone here has knowledge of Mr. Potter's movements this evening... I invite them to step forward now." He observed the crowd; he knew someone knew something. It took a few moments, and all of Dumbledore's Army agreed not to reveal Harry Potter's presence. He was their hope.
But someone stepped out into the limelight. "I can help you out with that...It would seem that, despite your exhaustive defensive strategies, you have a bit of a security problem, Headmaster." Snape seemed stunned by all this, and then Ron, Hermione and the Order of the Phoenix members started to emerge from the large Great Hall doors. "And I'm afraid it's rather extensive. How dare you stand where he stood. Tell them how it was that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you... and killed him. Tell them!" The fury was evident in Harry's voice; he, too, felt betrayed by a teacher people have very little faith in.
Snape had his wand in hand until the legend, Professor McGonagall, stepped out, casting the disarming spell at Snape. Chaos started up between the two. Although Max studied the attacks as they happened, Snape had almost intentionally reflected spells at the Carrow twins. There may have been some decency in that man. Not much, but some. Eventually, Snape took his escape. Students cheered; they were free from Snape.
The entire Hall seemed to brighten; it seemed more like Hogwarts. "Coward! COWARD! And he didn't even stay to fight! Mr. Potter, do you mind telling me what you're doing here, which, I trust you realize, is an act of complete and utter lunacy?"
"I'm a Gryffindor."
"I thought it might have something to do with that. All right! Settle down! Settle down!" McGonagall utters to the roaring room. "It appears that your Headmaster, to use the common phrase, has done a bunk." People celebrated; it felt so liberating. That was until a scream erupted from a girl in the Hall. It was one of those blood-curdling screams that got everyone's attention. And then another cry of the same pain occurs somewhere else in the Hall. June knew there was a danger that followed Harry Potter.
A voice appeared in their minds, speaking to them individually and together. It was Voldemort himself. "I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may even think this wise. But this is folly. I wish you no harm. I have great respect for the students of Hogwarts. I was once one myself, after all. I ask for but one thing, and if granted, no magical blood shall be spilt...Give me Harry Potter. Do this, and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded." There was silence, then mutters and then someone spoke up: Pansy Parkinson. "But he's there! Potter's there! Someone grab him!" Ginny protected him; nobody would let them sacrifice their little hope for the horrid villain who had ruined their lives in the course of a year.
Eventually, Flich stumbled in, and McGonagall sent off people to be evacuated or kept away from the attack that was about to occur. Teachers all started to cast spells in an attempt to protect the school. While that was happening, Max told Charlotte to evacuate from the school to keep safe.

Max, Sirenna, William, and June were all going to fight; it was the right thing to do, and they would need as much help as possible.
