"Come guys, I've been ready forever now!" I exclaimed as I waited by the door.

"Jane, you finished getting ready three minutes ago. I don't want to hear it." Rachel replied, trying to put on her shoes.

"You told us fifteen minutes ago we're eating at your parent's house," Damon said, going for his shoes. "Not only that but you told us this after we got in our pajamas and were watching t.v."

"I told you we would do it, I just didn't realize that day would be today," I said.

It had been about a week of living with Rachel and we all are about to eat dinner with my parents. They invited us this morning but I didn't remember till fifteen minutes ago. So, we are all currently rushing to make it there and if we have to be late at least up to five minutes.

Once I noticed we were all ready, I started to head out. The ride only took about eight minutes before we got there. We were laughing and joking as we got to the front door. I was about to knock before I saw the door swing open.

"Took you guys long enough." My mom joked.

"Sorry, Damon isn't that good with time," I replied.

With a laugh, I felt the two stare me down.

"I'm glad you made it, all your brothers are here." My dad chimed in.

"Not the most exciting news but it'll work," I replied.

We were lead to the living room to see my not so lovely brothers, Beverly, and... Takashi? What's going on here? When I saw my mom walk into the kitchen I followed behind her.

"What's Takashi doing here?" I asked.

"Oh, him? He's normally over for dinner and we ran into Beverly at the grocery store." She replied.

"When did he start coming over and how do I not know about this?" I questioned.

"He started coming over like a year after you left for college and we didn't want to upset you so we didn't tell you." She replied.

"Thanks for taking in my feelings and does he normally come over when my brothers are here?" I said.

"Nope, this was just luck." She replied. "Now I have to finish with the appetizers, go bug your brothers."

I nodded and walked back into the living room.

"So what are you assholes doing here?" I asked, sitting next to my oldest brother, James.

"That's how you greet me after a few months without seeing me? I'm hurt, I thought I was your favorite." My second oldest brother, Jin said, wiping away a fake tear.

"I'm Jane's favorite, unlike you guys Jane spends good money on gifts for me." My little brother, Jimin said.

"Good money? She's a college student in crippling debt." James said in a snarky voice.

"Ouch. Did not see that coming." I replied.

"Well, well, well, how the turned tables," James said.

"James, this is why you're my least favorite sibling," I replied.

"I'm your favorite, right Jane?" Jin asked.

"No! I'm her favorite!" Jimin insisted.

"You guys are fun to be around but I'm going to chat with other people," I said and got up.
