On merry and misery: A Summers' Day
29.08.2022
A-light on one a Summers' day
I went outside all night to play
Oh how my heart was filled with gay
Oh how my hollow sweetly swayed
To what seemed primalry untamed
That whispered mystery and fame
To bitter misery awake
Was I slow-dancing, getting laid
By every leaf that dared to fade
Into my jubilating frame
Before my hedonistic name
With every memory in vain
I danced to rhythms of the skies
Un-making sure that I was fine
Since that made sure the stilling skies
That dance around to stars of ice
As I danced softly spending time
Prayed to the rhythms of the skies
And all that holds their loving eyes
I danced to rhythms of the skies.
A-light on one a Summers' day
I went outside to lay and pray
For all that man has done and made
And for the faith that kept her say
For love, the mystery untold
For life, its beauty to behold
For fine, he word hat says it all
Gens fine, gens back and gens be more!
