(A/N: Lmao that title tho-)

A loud crash came from the next room.

Katashi and Haruki slowly put down their playing cards.

They were home alone at Kiyomi's house, Katashi in charge, obviously, with their parents going out to buy some gifts. The children had already gotten their gifts for everyone.

("Katashi, you're in charge."

"What?! You don't trust your own daughter?"

"Would you?"

"...No.")

"W-What happened?" Haruki asked.

"...Kiyomi."

The two boys got up and walked over into the next room.

Kiyomi was hanging upside down from the ceiling, wrapped in Christmas lights, "Heyyy."

"Why does this always happen?"

"Shut up and help me!"

-------------

Haruki giggled slightly, helping Kiyomi remove the last string of lights from her left bun.

"Wow, thanks for laughing at my misery."

"I-I-I'm s-sorr-"

"Haruki, it was a joke!" Kiyomi interrupted, hugging the shorter boy. Haruki hugged back, smiling.

Katashi took the lights that were previously stuck in Kiyomi's bun and strung them up again, "Good as new."

"W-What were y-you even doing up there?"

"Um...I was trying to be Spiderman."

Katashi rolled his eyes, "The strings aren't strong enough to support your weight."

"Are you calling me fat?!"

"You know exactly what I mean."

"G-Guys, don't fight!"

------------------

Their parents had eventually returned from their shopping trip.

Katashi had fixed everything so it seemed like Kiyomi had never wrecked anything.

"Present time!" Kokichi called out. The three children cheered and headed over to the tree.

"Do you three want to exchange your gifts first?" Korekiyo asked.

Kiyomi nodded, grabbing two presents and giving one to Katashi and one to Haruki.

Haruki's was decorated with a red wrapping paper with snowmen. There was a label that said, "This is from both Katashi and Kiyomi! Merry Christmas!" He opened it.

Inside was a bow and a bundle of arrows.

"We pooled our money together and got you this!" Kiyomi explained.

"Do you like it?" Katashi asked.

Haruki was still staring at the gift, before looking up, "Guyyyysss! You're the best!" He tackled them both in a hug.

"Yay! He likes it!"

The parents smiled fondly watching their children.

Katashi opened his present, a box wrapped in green wrapping paper and Christmas trees, from Kiyomi.

Inside was a book about Geology.

"I remember you talking about it and how you were interested, so I got you this!"

"Thanks Yomi."

"No problem! We're best friends after all!"

Katashi reached over and handed a present to Kiyomi.

It was a box wrapped with lilac wrapping paper with a red bow. She opened it, tossing the trash somewhere behind her.

She held up a sweater, "Oh, nice!"

"Turn it around."

Kiyomi did so, revealing a picture of Kelly taped to the front of the sweater, "Seriously?"

"It's an ugly Christmas sweater."

Kiyomi started laughing, "That's genius!"

"I know."

The two older kids high fived.

Haruki giggled, giving Kiyomi a present.

It was the entirety of a detective book series.

"I've been looking for these for forever! How'd you find these?"

"I-Internet."

"I tried that. How did you find these?"

"I-I d-don't k-know then?"

Kiyomi hugged Haruki, "Doesn't matter! You're still the best!"

"Hey did you know these are based off Shuichi?" Katashi asked, looking at the back of the book.

"They are?" Shuichi blinked.

Kiyomi nodded, "That's why I wanted them."

Shuichi hugged Kiyomi, "Ki! I love you!"

"Love you too dad!"

Katashi turned to Haruki, "What? I don't get a gift?"

"I-Um-I-"

"Betrayal."

Haruki leaned forward amd kissed Katashi on the lips.

"T-There's your g-gift!" Haruki also placed a twenty dollar bill in Katashi's hand.

"..."

"S-Sorry, y-"

Katashi blushed, looking away, "It's fine."

Kiyomi leaned closer to her dads, whispering, "I can taste the gay tension."

"Same."

"Can we not gossip about our daughter's best friends?"

----------------

The kids were cuddled up in a blanket fort in front of the TV in a single cuddle pile, asleep.

"Cute~!" Rantaro cooed.

"You know, I expected Shuichi to be the most motherly, not you," Maki mentioned.

"Shush."

Kokichi grabbed a key and unlocked a padlock to a cabinet, opening it. He pulled out some wine.

"Kids are asleep. Let's get wasted!"

"Keep your voice down!"
