[2 days after the attack on the gang base]

The armored man had been walking through an abandoned subway and stopped by a wall as a blue light scanned him

All of a sudden a voice said 'DNA matched, Welcome sir' 

The man walked into the walkway only to enter a room as the lights came on

The man took off his helmet to reveal his face

He had short blonde hair, blue eyes,  small scars on his face, and a larger one on his right eye 

He sat down on a chair and took off his top armor, revealing scarring and bruises on his body, including a large scar where his heart is at.

"Well about time you showed up home baby," A voice with an accent said as Jaune turned to see

Jaune just looked at the woman as she sat on his lap 

This was Nix, a woman Jaune had met during an attack on a Talon base and has been with him since then, as his informant in the underground scene

"So, how was work babe? "Nix asked with a flirty attitude.

"That gang's trafficking plans are dead, as they are now," Jaune said.

"MMhh, good" Nix said as she moved closer to him"But, you didn't bring me with you" Nix playfully mocked

"You were sleeping" Jaune deadpanned as Nix playfully slapped his chest

"Well, The others are here and have been waiting for you," Nix said as she got off him.

"How are our forces doing ?" Jaune asked as  he walked towards the computer, as the chair  turned to reveal the person using it to be

This is Claire, Jaune's main hacker that he saved from a gang invasion in her town. As a way to thank him, she joined his crusade against crime

"Doing good, all so-called hacks ain't getting here, our spies have not been compromised, and we just stole some gear that Talon was transporting to base and now it's ours " Claire said as she tried to focus on Jaune's eyes and not his body, but failing at moments 

"Good," Jaune said without paying attention to her as he was distracted by the pieces of the  beacon he broke so no one would find him, which was noticed by the two women

"Still thinking about them huh," Claire asked Jaune who nodded yes, and this made Nyx a little jealous and mad 

"Still?!, Why?" Nyx asked, "You don't need them, And are you still think about her?"

Jaune then became rigged in anger, while Claire prepared for Jaune's anger

"You don't need her," Nyx said with anger "They left you to die, She left you to--" she stopped herself as she saw Jaune's face 

"Never talk bout her that way again, "Jaune said with anger in his voice, as Nix backed away from him, while Claire was worried for her teammate's life as Jaune hates when people badmouth...her

Jaune then got up from the chair and looked at a hologram of the map of the world

"Talon has been expanding more in the past days," Jaune said 

"Perhaps they gearing up for something big, " Claire said as she looked at the map, which had red dots to represent talon bases and their presence.

" Maybe," Jaune said "We need to keep our forces ready for anything, send the word out to all commanding officers, " Jaune said as Claire nodded as she typed things into the computer 

Suddenly, the screen turned red as the group saw an emergency alarm in a section of the city they were hiding in.

"What is it?" Jaune asked as Claire pulled up the security camera to see Tracer, Mercy, and Pharah engaging with an unknown mercenary group and needing help with them

"Send me the coordinates, I'm heading towards the area, "Jaune said as he pressed a button to reveal a bike with guns [Batpod from the Nolan Batman films] jumped on it and left the base, and headed towards the fight

'Hold on Lena, I'm coming to help' Jaune thought as raced to help

[At the area of the attack]

Tracer was under fire from the mercenary group she, Mercy, Solider 76 and Pharah went sent to investigate the group for info about Talon

Pharah and Mercy were under fire nearby with a group of mercs raining fire on their position as their coms were jammed

All of a sudden, the guns stopped as the main leader walked in front of the mercs

This was Hilde, leader of a group called G.R.A.V.E,  a mercenary group that offers their services for those with a big checkbook and know for a reputation for helping corrupt leaders

"Well, isn't this a surprise ?" Hilde said with a smirk as she stopped moving  "When Talon offered us a job, I never thought we'd meet some of Overwatch's legendary members" 

Tracer looked at her teammates and gave hand signs that explained her plan to take the mercs out.

"Shame that most of you are gone, but it makes my job so much easier without you all getting in the way of business," Hilde said with smugness as Pharah and Solider 76 were moving into position to flank the mercs

"But I do miss that Blonde guy that had that knife," Hilde said as she pulled her own twisted version of a knife "He could have been quite the second in command and relief toy for me," She said with a seductive attitude as the 3 women were angered by that comment.

"Don't you dare talk about him like that, you whore!!!" Mercy yelled  "He would've never been a member of your group or be your toy!! " 

Unfortunately, that outburst gave away her and Tracer's position as the merc group moved closer towards them, as Pharah and 76 were unable to get a shoot that wouldn't hurt Mercy and Tracer in the process.

"Well, well," Hilde said "Looks like our rep is about to--" she was interrupted by the sound of a vehicle coming towards them

"What's that?" Hilde asked as a mercenary moved forward to the glass window to see what's out there, only to see that there was nothing there

"Nothing, mam--" The man was interrupted by the lights going out as the mercenary were scared and moved together in groups.

While that was happening, Mercy and Tracer manage to use the distraction to meet up with Pharah and 76

"What's going on?" Tracer asked the group, as began to move up to get a better view of the enemies.

All of a sudden, gunshots were heard as mercenaries began to fall, screams were heard as gunfire lit up the room to see flashes and shadows of a man taking them down with no problems 

Hilde then ordered her men to stay together and start firing everywhere to injure this man.

This did not work for a while as the bullet went everywhere and almost hit the overwatch agents until a stray bullet hit the man, causing him to fall to reveal the person to be Jaune in his armor.

"What is it ?" A merc asked as Hilde moved closer to Jaune as the overwatch agents looked over to see what happened.

"It's a person," she said as another merc poked him with his gun

"What's that, some kind of armor?" The merc asked

"So much killing," Hilde said with a shiver of lust "Get that helmet off him, I wanna see this guy's face"

The mercenary kneeled to remove the helmet on;y to be shocked by the helmet and rendering him unconscious s the other overwatch agents decided to help the man

76 aimed his rifle at a piece of ceiling that was loose and fired, sending the piece to the ground and catching the group off-guard

This gave Jaune time to wake up and continue finishing off the mercs, as the overwatch agents joined in to help him.

While this was happening, Hilde decided to cut her losses and run from the fight to live another day.

After the fighting stop, The Overwatch agents look at the Arc Knight as he's called, to see him looking over information on an enemy laptop that wasn't damaged in the fight.

"Nice job solider," 76 said as the group moved towards him "You manage to save us back there"

Arc-Knight nodded as he continued to work "Good to see some old friends that are still around"

This sentence shocked the group at the information given.

"You were Overwatch?!!" Mercy asked with interest, as she hadn't met anyone else from the old days besides the members now

"Something like that" Arc Knight said as he stopped using the computer and pulled a flash drive out from it

"Thanks for the help" Arc Knight said as he turned and began to walk away till he was stopped by Tracer

"Hold up there Luv," She said as she was in front of him "We've heard about you and was wondering if you be interested in joining us?"

"That's right, we're bringing back Overwatch and we could use someone like you on the team" 76 said as Pharah nodded

"Not interested," Arc Knight said as continued to walk away as this time he was stopped by Mercy

"Why?" she said "You could help so many people and you were a member once no?"

"The last time I was with you guys, I was left for dead" Arc Knight said

.

..

".....What?" Mercy said in a quivering voice as she heard those words, hoping that this didn't mean what she thought it meant

However, she didn't have time to ask the question and she was thrown to the side by Arc Knight as a bullet pierced his armor, sending him to the ground and the others rushed to him to help

[Somewhere else]

Widowmaker ran from her vantage point as she contacted Talon

"Widowmaker, Report" Reaper said

"Mission failed, I had the target in my sights, but That Arc Knight pushed her out of the way and the bullet hit him" Widowmaker explained as she was found and picked up by a Talon jet

"....Very well, looks like we'll have to find another way to damage Overwatch, return to base" Reaper said as the two ended the chat.

[Back with the group]

The group had managed to get Arc Knight to their jet as Mercy and 76 begin to try and patch him up, while Tracer and Pharah flew back to the base

"Put pressure on the wound Jack, "Mercy said as she grabbed the medical kit to help

"Understood," Jack said "Hang in there solider, you're gonna make it"

Arc Knight just laid there in pain, as Mercy kneeled to his head and placed her hands on his helmet

"Okay let's see if he's still........"

..

Mercy and 76 were frozen at the sight of his face

A face of a warrior

A face of brother in arms 

and the face of a lost friend

Mercy's voice quivered in sadness and shock with one name escaping her mouth

"Jaune ?"
