[Overwatch base]

Winston was looking over files of potential agents and  plans for new gear when he heard a beep coming from the computer,while drinking a mug of coffee.

He looked at it and saw who it was....

The mug he was holding broke as it dropped to the floor 

"That's impossible, it can't be true" Winston said as he ran diagnostics on the computer

"Athena, is this real?" Winston asked shocked.

"Yes, the computer has not been tampered" Athena  stated.

Winston began to smile and laugh in joy at the info "I knew he couldn't be dead"  unfortunately the beacon was gone as the computer said signal was lost.

"Wait?!!, What happen?!" Winston said as he began pressing buttons rapidly.

"Winston, What are you doing?" Athena said.

"I found him!!, He's alive!! " Winston said still pressing buttons "We knew he wasn't dead"still the beacon wasn't showing "Damn thing, work!!" 

"Winston !!,The signal is lost. either he deactivated his beacon or destroyed it, I'm sorry Winston there is nothing we can do" Athena said.

Winston stopped and move his head down in sadness at the facts

"Please get some rest,Winston, I will be online and continue to monitor the beacons" Athena said.

Winston began to walk to his room, only to stop at the doorway and look at the computer

As he laid in his bed ,he began to remember the person the last time  he saw him

'Winston!!!,  I NEED HELP HERE, REPEAT!! I NEED HELP!!

[next day]

Winston was with the others in the meeting room ,going over things such as Talon, new members, while looking a bit depress, which was notice by Mercy

"Winston,What's wrong, you look depress" She asked which got the attention of the others as well.

"What's wrong big guy, out of Peanut Butter?" Tracer joked , which caused some to smirked, but stopped after realizing it was more serious 

"Please tell us what wrong," Zenyatta said as the others waited for Winston to say what's wrong.

Winston looked at them with a sad face and sighed "Athena and I received a beacon from a former member of Overwatch,but we lost it"

"Who was it" Reinhardt asked "Which of our former teammates answered the call to fight" He said with excitement

"Athena show them" 

The holomap then showed

[pretend there's no mask and  it's Jaune as adult

"Is this some kind of sick fucking joke ?" Angela asked with anger, surprising everyone with her attitude.

"Angela, I know that this is a sensitive to us " Winston said

"Then you know that this is not funny "McCree said with anger.

"Winston,is this actually real?" Solider 76 asked with small hint of hope in his voice.

"Athena ran the scans"Winston said before being interrupted by Tracer

"Then run it again" She said.

"I have ran the scans multiple times,Miss Oxton and the match is the same every time" Athena said.

"Look I knew him too, but" Winston said but was interrupted by Mercy.

"Yes you knew him, BUT I HELD HIM IN MY ARMS !!! HIS BLOOD WAS ON ME !!!" Angela yelled

"HE SHOULD HAVE JUST STAYED WITH  ME!!!"Symmetra yelled. "HE WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFE!!"

"LIKE HE WOULD HAVE ENJOYED BEING WITH YOU AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO HIM" Angela said

"AT LEAST I DIDN'T WAIT TILL AFTER HIS FUNERAL TO TELL HIM  HOW I FEEL " Symmetra said

Mercy stopped in sadness as Symettra had a look of regret.

"Angela, I- "Mercy than ran out of the room before she could finish the words, with Symmettra leaving as well in the opposite way.

" Is she gonna be OK ?" Luicio asked with concern.

"I hope so" Winston said.

"So. who his he ?" Zarya asked with McCree,Tracer, Solider 76, Winston, Reinhardt and Pharah having a sad look of remembrance on their faces.

"His name is Jaune Codename: Knight Blade" Winston said.

"Why is he so special?"  Baptiste asked.

"You remember how Morison led Overwatch and Reyes led Blackwatch , Jaune was the leader of the group only know as Excalibur" Winston said.

"EXCALIBUR?!!!, The team know for surviving the most dangerous missions and rescuing many hostage during the mission in Rio? " D.VA said. 

"So, he was just another solider " Zarya said, until McCree threw his coffee mug at her with a look of anger.

" He was not just a solider, he was like family to us" Tracer said.

 " He was our heart and soul "Reinhardt said in a sad voice.

"And Angela?" D.va asked.

"She was close to him" Winston said

How close?" Lucio asked.

"She almost confessed to him before he died" Tracer said.

" I know this bad time,but I think we need to talk about this vigilante that's been killing gangs and criminally tied people"   Winston said as he passed out folders as Trace looked at where Mercy ran out with concern for her.

[In Angela's room]

Angela sat in her room, crying at the news she just heard.

'How could this be, how could they say that' she thought as she sat on her bed.

She then looked on her dresser and saw two things that made her cry more

One was a necklace with angel wings

And the other was a photograph of her, Jaune, Jack, Reyes, Ana and the others from back then.

'I wish you were here, with us ....with me' she said as she remember the first time they met.

[Flashback]

Angela was heading to meeting to meet the new member of Overwatch  that Jack and Gabriel picked up from a mission

She found the room and went inside to see everyone and the new guy already there being briefed by the commander.

"Ah, Angela ,this the new member" Jack said as she got a good look at him.

He wore some kind of combat with a hood down, to reveal his face. He had bright blue eyes, a small scar near his right eye on his cheek . His hair was short and blonde

" Hi, my name is Jaune" he said while holding out his hand " It's nice to meet you Miss"

"Ziggler, Angela Ziggler" she said as she shook his hand.

"Angela ? ,like Angel " Jaune said while making her blush.

"Hey Romeo, you and Juliet can elope after the meeting" Gabe said as the two blushed from embarrassment.

" Gabe, just because you strike out with women, doesn't mean that you ruin the rookie's chance" Jack said as the group laughed, while Gabe had a look of annoyance .

[End Flashback]

Angela's mind brought her back to the present as she heard a knock form her door

"It's open" Angela said as the door opened to reveal Symmetra

"May I come in ?" Symmetra asked.

"I guess Satya " Angela said as Satya came inside the room

"Look, Angela I wanted to apologize for what happened there " Symmetra said 

"No I should apologize for bringing that back up" Angela said as interrupted Satya

"I took to far though" Symmetra said as she sat on the bed.

"I screwed up with him " Symmetra said as tears began for in her eyes  " He gave everything and I did that to him" 

Symmetra began to cry as Angela tried to console her with hug

"It's OK,let it out" Angela said.

"The funny thing is that a small part of me, wants this thing to be real, so that I find him and fix what I did and hopefully get a second chance" She said.

'Me too' Angela thought as she looked back the picture.

[Talon]

"Is this true? "

"Yep, when Reapes infiltrated the base, We manged to get a little surveillance drone before the device broke due interference from an unknown source"

"This is interesting , if this is true and he did survive , then he and that knight could help Talon"

"Where is Reaper anyway ?"

"In his room, headed there when he heard the guy's name"

"Very curious, perhaps he knew him ?"

"Maybe?"

[Reaper's room]

Reaper was standing in front of a window as recalled the news about the beacon that they found out 

'Impossible, I saw him die, We all did' Reaper thought as he opened his dresser and pulled a combat knife, with the initials J A on it 

"REAPER, REPORT TO THE MEETING" The intercom said as Reaper put the knife back and headed to the room, wondering about the situation at hand.

'Guess, I'm not the only that can come back from the dead as well'

Next Chapter will either be a flashback or one of the team meeting jaune

Also Jaune will be getting a guest character as ally ,stay tune for the next chapter
