Cerberus. recovering from the prior viewing, easily disarmed Sushang as he threw her into Arlan as he used his impractical sword. 

"Again," Cerberus said as he threw Sushang's sword back to her. He had decided to train the alternate version of his ancestor/distant relative, and a new student in the training room of the Archon hall. 

Asta watched the spar as Cerberus used his stylized Dacian Falx with ease to deflect and easily take care of the head of security and junior cloud knight. The lead researcher held a book given to her by Reena about some inventions from the planet Earth, the home planet of Cerberus. Thinking of the male made her cheeks heat up. 

Lumine watched the knight with interest, noting how his eyes glowed a dull amber glow every once in a while as he managed to defeat the two sparring partners he had with his impractical blade. Lumine watched as Cerberus deflected Arlan's strike and kicked him toward Sushang, sending them flying away and out of the makeshift arena. 

"Care for a spar?" The outlander asked as she approached, summoning her dull blade while Cerberus raised his brow and made his sword disappear only to replace it with a replica of the first Tsurugi and summoned a helmet with a crest and put it on. "Oh? Getting serious?" Lumine teased as she brandished her blade while a smirk formed on Cerberus' face. 

"Says the one who can match gods on her own," Cerberus said as he held his blade, and not a second later, a wall of amber crystals charged toward the young man. 

Impressed by the manipulation of Geo, Cerberus smirked as he rushed toward Lumine and towards the Amber crystals. 

Their audience, friends of Lumine, watched the fight and looked in shock as the amber crystals turned to dust as the young man got in front of each one before he swung his blade down at the Outlander, Lumine jumped away only to yelp as she slipped when she landed on the ground and as amber chains wrapped themselves around her limbs, limiting her movements and stopping her movement. The former Archon grinned as he pointed his blade at her neck. 

"Dead," Cerberus said before pointing the blade away as he stopped her from falling on her back as he held her arm as the chains disappeared. 

"That's dirty," Lumine complained as she rubbed her wrist. "Using constructs that stopped me from harnessing elements," 

"Well, you are stronger than I am," Cerberus said as he removed his helmet and dropped it, only for it to fit on the head of Reese as she appeared beside him. 

"Hey!" 

Seeing the sight, Lumine and Asta let out soft giggles at how Reese glared at Cerberus. 

"Lumine," Ayaka said with a smile as she approached the group while Cerberus picked Reese us and carried her in his arms. "Mr. Cerberus," 

"Miss Kamisato," Cerberus greeted with a respectful nod.

"Hello, Ayaka." 

"This one is still impressed that you are able to find a way to travel through dimensions," the voice of cloud retainer echoed in the training room.

"Come on, I told you he was awesome," Guizhong said with a grin. "That's my boy!" The goddess with billowing sleeves said causing the former archon to raise his brow at the information. "Rex Lapis and I already adopted him," 

looking at his predecessor, Zhongli, now known as Rex Lapis after he was glomped and kissed by Guizhong in front of everyone, nodded in defeat. Huh? Would Guizhong adopt his successor too? 

"And you must be Asta," The goddess of dust said as she looked at the pink-haired girl before smiling. "I approve, the family bloodline must continue," Guizhong said with a smile causing Asta to blush and for Cerberus to let out a sigh. "Well, I also approve of others," Guizhong's eyes sweptover several girls while Cerberus wisely ignored his newly-adoptive mother. 

"Okay everyone, the preparations for the new viewing is complete and we have new guests with us!" Reena said with a smile as Cerberus felt a familiar presence. 

Walking with the group, Cerberus made sure that he had a tight hold on his niece. 

"Say, Cereberus, is Reese your daughter?" Asta asked as she noticed the similarities that the two had. 

"Well, no." Cerberus said while Reese had other plans. 

"Cerberus is my uncle Rex!" Reese said with a smile causing them all to look at the child. "I found out when I saw his picture with auntie Kiana," Asta decided to file the name away for later while Lumine raised her brow. 

Guizhong grinned as plans formed in her mind about her youngest, technically oldest due to his connection to the Gnosis, child's lovelife. 

"Mr. Cerberus!" Gepard Landau said as he looked at the slightly shorter young man. "We need your help!" Hearing this, Cerberus/Rex turned to Asta and handed Reese to her. 

"Behave for Asta, okay," 

"Yup!" Reese said with a smile as he and the others went ahead and followed Gepard while Guizhong, Zhongli, and Asta followed them. 

Arriving at the theater room, Cerberus found the people surrounding something and he could barely makeout the design of a bike through the crowds. 

"Cerberus! over here!" March said as she waved at her fellow trailblazer and the young man followed her. 

"March, what's wrong?" Cerberus asked his friend

"Well, we have a new visitor, and," 

Turning around, Cerberus' obsidian eyes widened at the sight in front of him. Obsidian dark orbs met with a tearful shade of indigo. 

"Onii-chan..." the girl said with tears in her eyes as Cerberus froze. Hearing this, some of the Belobogians and Stelle opened a path as Seele Vollerei, now older than he remembered, was in front of her. 

"You grew your hair..." Cerberus said as he gave her a smile. "And you got taller," 

Sobs escaped the girl's mouth as tears fell from her eyes as she could not believe it. He was here in front of her! 

"Cerberus, you know this Seele?" Bronya Rand asked as she looked at the look-alike of her friend. 

Before they all could react, the more feminine Seele ran faster than they could react and tackled him into the ground with a tight hug as she cried in his chest. "Rex-Onii-chan!" Seele cried out as she held onto the young man tightly, not wanting to let go. Cerberus just smiled as he barely held the tears in his eyes as he hugged the Herrscher of death just as tightly. "Don't leave us again!" Seele cried out as she repeated those words over and over again. 

"I'm here now, Seele," Cerberus said as he smiled and rubbed her back. 

It took an hour or so for Cerberus to calm Seele down and was now seated in the same row as before while Seele Vollerei hugged him tightly, refusing to leave his side for a second. 

"So, you two are from the same world as Uncle Welt?" March asked while the two Herrschers nodded. 

"Why are you hugging him?" Stelle asked, narrowly looking at the more feminine Seele who hugged Cerberus' arm tighter but said nothing. 

"Who are you?" Asta asked as she held onto Reese and Peppy, feeling a bit uncomfortable at how close the girl has been to her unofficial fiancee

"Oh, sorry," Seele said as she wiped some tears away. "I'm Seele, Seele Vollerei of house Zaychick under house Crozzo," She said with a kind smile that took all their hearts. 

"Zaychick..." Cerberus whispered. "Bronya became a Crozzo knight?" 

"Yes!" Seele said as she gave him a bright smile. "It happened after the amber throne incident," Seele said with a bright smile as she showed them a pocket watch, one similar to Cerberus' but with her symbol and color scheme. "The other me is also a knight."

"Veliona too?!" Cerberus whispered, remembering when he met the number 1 simp for Seele other than Bronya. 

"Why shouldn't I?" The alter-ego of Seele asked, appearing on his side, opposite of Seele as he squeezed in between him and Stelle, leaning on his shoulder. The trailblazer's eye twitched as she slowly let her bat out. 

"Not only is he the amber lord reborn, but he is also a Chad..." Gepard Landau whispered as he watched the alternate version of the underworlder that was the supreme guardian's friend clung onto him. 

"I still vote he gets together with Miss Asta," Arlan said causing Veliona to look at him. 

"Huh?! Are you saying Seele isn't cute enough for Rex, you-- hey!" Cerberus effortlessly made the alter-ego stop as he patted her head, immediately making her melt as he looked at Seele. 

"This is too nostalgic," Cerberus whispered as he remembered trying to stop his awesome Auntie Senti and Veliona from always fighting. Smiling as he saw Seele pass out from the excitement, Cerberus formed a faded archon cloak and covered her in it as Veliona smirked and gave Stelle a smug smile while she took her seat as Stelle was being held back by both March and Dan Heng. 

Slowly the lights of the theater were turned off one by one as the sound of music echoed in the theater. 

A young man dressed in rags and cracked armor with a broken sword in hand slowly walked toward a woman cloaked in flame. The young man's form distorted to reveal a figure in white long-sleeved robes approaching a gate

The young man changed to a man wearing a white hooded robe that showed off a pair of earth-colored arms, holding onto a spear as he faced down a massive creature with multiple heads made of water.

"Rex Lapis," Ningguang whispered in awe at the sight of Liyue's archon just as her mind wondered how Cerberus was connected to him. 

The scene then changed to a man with H/C hair standing in front of a statue of a hooded figure. Dirty fingers with purple/pink lines running over them reached out toward the cube.

"If I lose it all, slip and fall. Will you laugh at me,"

A burning hellscape with countless corpses distorted into a lab with several tubes filled with liquid.

A battlefield littered with countless figures as a lone figure stood over them, his pure white cloak now brown due to the countless blood that covered it before distorting to a field with black dust.

A frozen battlefield filled with destruction as corpses and ruins surrounded the entire area before distorting to a room with a blonde-haired figure with an ominous smile on their face with a blonde-haired blue-eyed young woman standing by his side.

"If I lose it all, lose it all, ah!"

The white-robed figure's face hidden by the shadows smiled as he entered the gate, knowing that he will never be able to go back to how things were for the sake of preservation of all things beautiful, the good and the bad. A lone tear fell from his eyes as he took his place on a throne of stone before closing his eyes.

A figure dressed in elegant and form-fitting attire smiled as he watched how his ancient foe, Osial, was sealed away without any help from him his people. A soft smile on his face, as he watched with crossed arms for the children of Liyue, can now stand on their own.

"Zhongli, you're Rex Lapis?!" Hu Tao whispered in shock as she noticed the similarities between the figure and her consultant who nodded at her. 

The man with h/c hair, now younger, watched the memories of the original owner of the power he had. "RISE!" A rock pillar erupted from the ground in front of him.

"I will have order!" Three voices as one shouted.

The elegantly-dressed figure and the man with h/c hair crossed their arms as an asteroid appeared from the sky, tearing apart everything on their way. A power that only a god could attain, for what else could summon a disaster that will create a large amount of destruction? The asteroid crushed into the earth, eradicating everything in their paths, while sealing all those that survived its wrath in stone.

However, the white-robed young man opened his eyes and spread his arms as the entire world around him sang and danced from the great earth below and pierced the heavens as amber chains bound and sealed everything in their embrace, a sheer imitation of the real thing amplified and refined by a young man that will never reach the pinnacle of his predecessor and successor's sheer might and power.

"If I lose it all, slip and fall"

The white-robed figure gasped as he felt the lance on his chest, where his heart was, launched by a woman with beautiful yet deadly eyes.

"I will never look away"

The white-robed figure gritted his teeth as he stared down a creature with four legs and a pair of wings, a dragon. Rushing the distance as numerous stone monuments blocked each attack the dragon did

"If I lose it all, lose it all, lose it all"

The white-robed figure's eyes widened as his spear was shattered by an ethereal golden greatsword of flames that shattered the barrier in his left hand that he used as a shield and burnt his hood and parts of his robes, leaving him in his tattered clothes as a pair of Shenzhou-style swords pierced his chest, where his lungs would be.

"If I lose it all outside the wall"

The man with h/c colored hair defended himself with a circular shield from a kind blade by a woman with wings before it changed to a lance from a floating woman. The scene distorted to show the original owner of the Geo Gnosis nodding at him as a pure-white sleeveless robe appeared over his clothes as he stared down his foe

"Live to die another day"

The white-robed man tossed his tattered robes as the blades on his chest were pushed out of his body, leaving no scars as a bow appeared in his hand, cyan green melded with the pure dark-shaded amber as a pure white blindfold lined with golden lines appeared over his eye while several spears of amber and stone appeared like a wing on his back.

"I don't want anything"

The scene then rapidly changed between the two as the blindfolded man aimed his stone spear as an arrow at the unknown as the blindfold disappeared revealing amber-tinted obsidian orbs while both wind and earth gathered around the spear while pure overwhelming power and divinity coated the man with sleeveless robes as his E/C orbs are now a pure amber with pieces of his H/C hair ending in light brown

"I'm just here to"

The Blindfolded man let the spear-arrow go. The stone spear soared through the distance between its owner and its target.

The sleeveless-robed man readied his spear as he moved.

Both spears, one sharing the combined might of Anemo and Geo with the other having the full force of the archon of GEo behind it, pierced through the unknown.

"BEWARE!"

The white robes that covered the figure disappeared, revealing the sleeping visage of Cerberus on the stone throne as a wave of pure willpower crushed the countless beasts that had entered the throne room as he remained in his position.

The images then rapidly changed from one another showing the H/C hair of the young man as he faced down numerous Honkai beasts, Herrschers, and even the overseer of Schicksal himself with countless ethereal golden weapons surrounding him as a golden cube floated in front of Otto Apocalypse

The scene then changed to Cerberus smiling as he watched the real successor of Rex Lapis before staring into the form of the Aeon of Destruction, Nanook, and his legion.

Stopping, the young man looked at his choices,

Destruction or Preservation

Cerberus smiled and without hesitation, chose his answer.

"Lord Rex Lapis!" The people of Liyue cried out as Zhongli released his divinity. While most people assumed he was an Adepti, the scene had just revealed that he was the former archon of Liyue. 

"Please stand, I am no longer the Archon of Liyue for I have given up the qualification that I once had. But rest assured, I will still protect our safe harbor," Zhongli said in an effort to placate the citizens of Liyue but Guizhong had other plans. Quickly getting in front of the former Archon, the lady of dust spread her arm. 

"Back off! Zhongli is mine!" The lady of dust growled at the women and Tartaglia with fires in her eyes.

"Wait, if Rex Lapis is Zhongli, then what does Cerberus being in the video mean?" Keqing asked as the attention shifted to Cerberus.

"Easy, Cerberus, or Rex Crozzo, is the second archon of Geo," Zhongli said, answering the question. "However, he has willingly given up his archon hood and signed a contract with the qualification itself to gather enough power," 

"My project, the Amber throne, a metaphysical seal meant to seal the ancient force of Honkai away, not completely but until the time comes that both humanity and Honkai can peacefully coexist," Cerberus said as he gently rubbed Seele's head and raised a brow when Veliona grabbed his hand and made him rub her too.

"You have a lot of nerve," The voice of Bronya Zaychick echoed in the entire theater as her gray eyes narrowed in pure hatred at the imitation and insult that was in front of her. "You wanted to get it over with? Fine," Venom dripped from the Herrscher's voice as the ships of the Sky people were suddenly swallowed numerous black holes appeared in the sky as hundreds of artilleries formed on the ground as they fired on the corrupted version of Cerberus.
