A 14 year old orphan... My parents were murdered when I was three. At least that's what they say... They said the murderer was caught but won't give me more details. I was sent to Mrs.Kate's orphanage of gifted orphans.

I get up and head to the bathroom. I see my black hair, grey eyes and fairly pale skin. Anyway today is adoption day and I really don't think that I will be picked. No one picks a teenager, every one wants a little kid. I've been here for 11 years. Sure some people try to adopt me ,but they don't like me anymore after a while. Any way better get ready. I get ready for the day.

I slowly head downstairs to eat breakfast and I see Addison preparing plates for the younger children.

"Hey Addison how's it going?" I say quietly to her.

She smiles and says " Good just getting some food ready. Here you go."

She hands me a plate of eggs and bacon. Addison is a kid with blonde hair and green eyes. She came to the orphanage about 7 years ago.

"Thanks, you ready for adoption day?"

Addison nods and says "yeah I guess you?"

I sigh and say "ready as I ever will."

I start eating as the other kids start arriving at the kitchen to eat.

After breakfast the speaker says "Please all children come to the adoption room." Well here we go again.
