Back in Remnant
Chapter #3: Back in Remnant
Back at the Planet of Remnant, so many months have passed since Jaune Arc disappeared without a Trace.
His family, the Arc family was even worried about his disappearance seeing that he just vanished without even any clue or even how, his father and mother John and July worried about him and we're regretting treating important.
Even his sisters: Lenny Arc (1st oldest), Jenny Arc (2nd oldest), Alex Arc (1st young) and Mavis Arc (2nd young) We're also feeling like shit for treating their brother and also bullying him, Gave up on being a huntsman however they thought even more horribly thinking that they might have actually drove him to commit suicide.
Jenny Arc (2nd oldest) goes to beacon Academy also became the leader of JNPR, she did had top grades however she was not pretty good at being a leader and giving orders as for team leader.
Jenny Arc (2nd oldest) realized that her brother might actually have potential at strategy. Giving great advice. She was such an idiot for actually not realizing that her brother actually had that kind of potential.
At the Arc residence.
The family were actually having a quiet dinner, not chatting. Not laughing but felt like a somber mood without their brother it felt hollow and empty.
Alex Arc (1st young): Hey big sis, any sign of him at beacon Academy...?
Jenny Arc (2nd oldest): no, no sign of him..
Mavis Arc (2nd young): we are such awful sisters to him..
Lenny Arc (1st oldest): we are such awful sisters to him if only...
John Arc (his father): look we can't just go back and change the past like that.. we have to deal with the consequence for our own actions..
July Arc (his mother): I really am a horrible mother...
John Arc: (sighing deeply) We can't blame ourselves forever. What's done is done, but we need to focus on finding him. We owe it to Jaune to bring him back home.
Lenny: (tearfully) But how? He's been missing for months! What if he's... what if he's hurt or worse?
Jenny: (clenching her fists) We have to keep looking. He wouldn't just disappear without a reason. There has to be a clue somewhere—something we can follow.
Mavis: (sniffing) I just wish we could tell him how sorry we are. I never thought we'd lose him like this...
Alex: (quietly) Maybe we could ask the teachers at Beacon for help. They might know something we don't.
July: (nodding slowly) That's a good idea, Alex. We can gather what information we have and present it to them. They might have resources we can't access on our own.
John: (firmly) And we'll have to work together as a family. We can't let this tear us apart. We need to support each other, now more than ever.
Just then, the doorbell rang, breaking the heavy silence that hung over the Arc household.
Jenny: do you really think he's dead because of us..
John: if he is then it's our fault.. we could have done better to prevent all this from happening..
Jenny: (voice trembling) I can't shake the feeling that we pushed him away. What if he thought he had no one to turn to?
Lenny: (sobbing softly) We were supposed to be his family. We should have been there for him.
Mavis: (anguished) I wish we could just rewind time. I would do anything to take back the hurtful things I said.
John: (placing a comforting hand on Mavis's shoulder) I know it's hard, but we can't dwell on that now. We need to focus on finding Jaune. Let's not give up hope.
As the family tried to gather their thoughts, the doorbell rang again, louder this time. John stood up, feeling a mix of apprehension and hope. He opened the door to find Ozpin, Professor Port, and Professor Goodwitch standing there, their expressions serious.
Ozpin: (gently) Good evening, John. May we come in?
John: (nodding) Yes, of course. We were just...
He paused, the weight of the situation hanging heavy in the air. The professors stepped inside, and the family's somber mood deepened as the implications of their visit became clear.
Ozpin: (addressing the family) We understand how difficult this has been for all of you. We've been conducting searches, but we need to gather more information.
Jenny: (looking up) Did you find anything? Any leads on where he might be?
Professor Goodwitch: (sighing) We need to know more about Jaune's habits and routines. Anything that might give us insight into where he could have gone.
Alex: (hesitantly) He liked to explore the woods near our home. He often went there to practice on his own.
Professor Port: (nodding) That sounds promising. We'll focus our efforts there.
John: (determined) We'll go with you. We need to be a part of this search.
July: (tearfully) We can't just sit here and wait. We need to do something.
Ozpin: (looking at each family member) Your willingness to be involved is commendable. But we must proceed carefully. The woods can be treacherous, and we don't want to put anyone else in danger.
Lenny: (voice firm) We don't care. We need to find Jaune. He's our brother.
Mavis: (sniffling) We'll do whatever it takes to bring him home.
Ozpin: (giving a small nod) Very well. We'll organize a search party at dawn. But first, we need to gather any items that could help. Perhaps something that belonged to Jaune, something that could lead us to him.
The family exchanged glances, understanding the gravity of the situation. Each of them knew that they had to come together, to put aside their regrets and focus on the task at hand.
Meanwhile, on the Island of Sodor, Jaune was deep in thought, seen that he was actually in his new apartment. Thinking about it. Sure he missed his home but he didn't really care as much seeing that he was always neglected by his mom and dad and now here he had a new life. Like working on the ad railroad of the island of sodor, seeing the landscapes and many other cool places.
Jaune sat on the edge of his small bed in his apartment on the Island of Sodor, looking out the window at the vibrant landscape that surrounded him. The lush green hills rolled gently into the distance, dotted with colorful wildflowers swaying in the breeze. The sun was setting, casting a warm golden hue over everything, and for a brief moment, he felt a sense of peace.
Jaune: (to himself) I guess it's true what they say—sometimes you need to find your own way to discover who you really are.
He glanced around his room, decorated simply but with a few personal touches. On one wall hung a picture of him and Wilbert, taken after a hard day's work. They both wore expressions of triumph, and Jaune couldn't help but smile at the memory. Working on the railways had given him a sense of purpose he hadn't felt back home, and he was grateful for the chance to prove himself.
Jaune: (thoughtfully) This place is different. The engines here are so friendly, and I feel like I belong.
Just then, a soft whistle echoed outside, and he knew it was Wilbert, ready to get back to work. Jaune quickly grabbed his cap and dashed out the door, excitement bubbling inside him.
As he approached the yard, he saw Wilbert puffing steam and bouncing slightly on his wheels, eager to start another day.
Wilbert: (enthusiastically) There you are, Jaune! Ready for another adventure?
Jaune: (grinning) Always! What do we have planned for today?
Wilbert: I overheard Sir Topham Hatt say something about a special delivery to the seaside! I can't wait to see the ocean!
Jaune: (eyes sparkling) The ocean! That sounds amazing! I've never seen it before.
Wilbert: (chuffing with excitement) Then let's not waste any time!
As they set off, Jaune felt a thrill of anticipation. The rhythmic clatter of the wheels against the tracks was music to his ears, and with each puff of steam, he felt freer than he ever had before.
Jaune: (looking around) Sodor is beautiful! I can't believe I get to explore all of this!
Wilbert: (puffing happily) And we'll have plenty of adventures together. Just you wait!
As they traveled along the winding tracks, Jaune took in the sights—the rolling hills, the quaint villages, and the charming engines that waved as they passed. Each moment felt like a step further away from his old life and closer to a new one filled with possibilities.
But as they approached a hilltop overlooking the sea, Jaune's thoughts drifted back to his family. He remembered their faces, the laughter they shared, and the moments that felt so real yet now felt like they belonged to another life.
Jaune: (sighing) I wonder what my family is doing right now...
Wilbert noticed the change in Jaune's demeanor and slowed down slightly.
Wilbert: (concerned) Is everything alright, Jaune?
Jaune: (forcing a smile) Yeah, just thinking about home. I hope they're okay.
Wilbert: (sympathetically) It's normal to miss your family. But remember, you're not alone anymore. You have me, and we're a team!
Jaune: (nodding) You're right, Wilbert. I've got you, and I'm grateful for that.
As they reached the top of the hill, the sight of the ocean took Jaune's breath away. The waves crashed against the shore, sparkling under the sun, and the salty breeze filled the air.
Jaune: (in awe) Wow... It's beautiful!
Wilbert: (puffing proudly) Just wait until you see it up close!
They made their way down toward the beach, and Jaune couldn't contain his excitement. The vastness of the ocean unfurled before him, and he felt a sense of adventure welling up inside him.
Jaune: (gazing out at the horizon) I can't wait to dive in and explore!
Wilbert: (laughing) Just be careful not to get swept away!
As they reached the sandy shore, Jaune hopped off Wilbert and ran toward the water, feeling the grains of sand beneath his feet. He stopped at the water's edge, watching as the waves rolled in and out.
Jaune: (yelling with joy) This is incredible!
Wilbert: (chuffing nearby) Just make sure to stay close!
Jaune splashed at the water, laughing as the coolness hit him. For the first time in a long while, he felt truly free. He was no longer defined by the shadows of his past but was carving out his own path, one filled with adventure and friendship.
Back in Remnant, the Arc family was preparing for their search. They had gathered items that belonged to Jaune, memories that held both fondness and regret. As they packed these belongings, they spoke about their hopes and fears.
July: (holding Jaune's pendant) I can't believe we let it come to this.
Lenny: (tearfully) We need to make things right. We can't lose him again.
Jenny: (determined) We'll find him. We'll show him how much he means to us.
As they finished gathering their items, they felt a sense of unity and purpose. They were ready to face whatever lay ahead in their search for Jaune, determined to bring him back home.
