[The next day]

Ronin had returned to the temple and saw the rest of fighters there

"Hey ninja boy, you're awake, the matches are staring soon" Johnny said as Ronin saw Raiden looking at a specific guard.

"Kombatants! The next match will now begin!" Shang Tsung said as fire flew up from the ground to reveal Scorpion

"Where is the Lin Kuei Sub-Zero!, he killed my family and clan, I will have his head" He yelled in rage as Raiden walked up to one of the guards.

"I know it is you Kung Lao, The Shaolin Monks chose Liu Kang to represent your order" Raiden said to the guard

"I am Liu Kang's equal" The guard said

"That remains to be see" Raiden said as Ronin walked towards them.

"Watch and see" Kung Lao said as he took off the mask

"I accept" he said as took off his disguise to reveal his gear and walked forward

"Kung Lao?"  Liu Kang said surprised 

"Forget the Lin Kuei, now you face a shaolin" Kung Lao said as he got in a fighting pose.

"You will regret your impulsiveness" Scorpion said.

"Friend of yours?" Ronin asked Raiden.

"He is Kung Lao, another shaolin monk" Raiden said.

"30 bucks says he gets his ass handed" Jax said.

"I'll take that bet"Cage said.

[One ass kicking later]

"You are not yet a warrior" Scropion said as Liu Kang, Ronin and Raiden ran up to Kung Lao, as Johnny passed Jax 30 bucks 

"Perhaps next time, you will pay attention when they say, you are not yet ready" Ronin said.

Scorpion then looked at Shang Tsung "I have defeat this one ,I demand Sub Zero" Scorpion said.

"You will demand nothing,Nightwolf!" Shang Tsung said.

Nightwolf took a few steps till Ronin held him back and looked at him.

This sent a message as Nightwolf nodded his head and let Ronin take is place

"Very well then ,Now you face Ronin" Shang Tsung said to Scorpion.

Ronin and Scorpion got into fight positions.

You're a fool to dare and fight me" Scorpion said while Ronin just looked at him.

"It's painful isn't it, the anger burning in you, feeding off you rage, I can feel it from here" Ronin said.

"What do you know, outsider" Scorpion asked

"You're not the only one that knows the loss of family" Ronin said surprising him

"Only difference is mine choose to abandoned me" He said

"They exiled you?" Scorpion asked

"Yes" Ronin answered

"Then you brought shame to them, so they chose the right way to save their honor " Scorpion said.

"I am happy to be disowned from them, I was able to choose my own path" Ronin said as both pulled their blades and readied them.

"Let's see who is the best" Ronin said

"FIGHT!!" Shang Tsung yelled 

The two ran towards each other and began their sword strike, each strike was felt by all watching the fight

[Liu Kang and Raiden]

"Lord Raiden, he's not like the others we've seen before." Liu Kang said, while impressed by Ronin's fighting

"I agree, Liu Kang but was he says speaks many truths and questions about him" Raiden said while wonder more about Their ally in this fight.

[Shang Taung's thoughts]

'This Ronin is not like most earthrealmers, especially with ability my scouts saw him perform' He thought as he had been telling Shao Kahn about this warrior.

The two had been going back and forth each loosing a round ,till they stopped before the final round.

"You fight well for a specter of hell" Ronin said

"I need not your acceptance, Gajin" Scorpion said

Ronin then stabbed his sword on the ground moved his hands towards his mask and removing it, revealing his face for all to see.

His hair was short and blond {Endgame Hawkeye style}, his eyes were bright blue and his had two scars, a small one on his right cheek, and a large one going diagonally right to left

This reveal brought blushes on the faces of the females looking at him.

The unmasked Ronin grabbed his sword and pointed at Scorpion 

"Do not hold back" Ronin said as he charged forwards,as did Scorpion as well.

The two continued the clash of the blades and fists , matching each attack with the other.

Till Scorpion stabbed Ronin in the stomach ,causing Ronin to drop his blade and grabbed his bleeding side.

"Excellent Scorpion, Now Finish Him!!" Shang Tsung said as Raiden was about to intervene till Ronin gave a signal to not move.

"Go ahead, you heard your master dog, do it" Ronin taunted as Scorpion readied the blade and then sliced at him, only to stop inches from his neck.

"Your head isn't worth cutting off" Scorpion said as he walked off as they outworlders also left as the earthrealm defender ran up to help Ronin .

"Are you ok man? "Johnny asked as the other lift him up.

The group just gave him a deadpanned look.

"Yes, he is OK and not bleeding from his side right now" Sonya said 

Ronin began to glow white, stopping the bleeding and closing the wounds a bit.

"We should take back to room to heal now" Raiden said they helped to the room.

[Later that day]

Ronin was resting his wounds ,till he heard a sound in the room.

"You fought well for a mortal" a voice said.

Ronin turned and saw

Ronin smiled at the sight of her

"It'd good to see you again, Khameleon" He said as she moved closer.

"You too my friend" Khameleon said.

"What are you doing here?" Ronin asked.

"I came to see that you were alright" She said with concern

"Well as you see I'm alright, I just need rest" Ronin said as he laid back to rest.

All of sudden he felt something hold him, he look and saw Khameleon cuddling with him.

"You don't have to do this" Ronin said

"Quiet Jaune, please just let me" Khameleon said as she fell asleep as Jaune did the same.

[Elsewhere]

A woman in yellow had saw the interaction from a vantage point and felt anger

"How dare she try and take him? He's mine" The woman thought as she left the area plannig something.
