[New York city, night]

New York City, city of heroes and of villains.

Since the breakout of major supervillian holding prisons, The Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes have been busy with capturing them. 

But now something else is in the city.

A Angel of justice 

A watcher of the dark streets

A Guardian of the people

A Knight that slays the wicked

[Alleyway]

A young woman, with brown hair, was running for her life from 4 guys in an alleyway.

"Get away!" the woman yelled, fearing for her life,as she backed into the wall

"Oh come on baby, don't be like that" the lead guy said as he moved closer towards her

"Yeah, we just wanna show you some fun" one of guys said with an evil smirk

"Don't worry, this won't hurt...us!!" the the last guy said evilly as they moved closer

"Easy boys, no need to rush" the main guy said

"I'm first" 

"No ,I am"

"Come on man, let me go first"

"Help!!!!!" The woman screamed

All of a sudden they hear a "DINK"[I don't know what sound a throwing dagger makes]

They looked at the wall and saw

Embedded in the wall

"Scum" a voice said that surprised them as they heard a thump

The 3 guys turned and saw 

"Oh shit , it's one of those Avengers!"

"No, I am not, I am something worse" the armored man said

"Oh yeah, and what is that?" The leader said with smugness

The mysterious man looked up at them.

"Your death"

One of the guys ran towards him, but the man side stepped him and sliced the man's arm with his right gauntlet , injuring him

The other guy tried to shoot him, but the bullet defected by the wrist blade, into his arm while some of the others bullets injured another person, who collapsed in pain.

As the man with the gun tried to aim again, his head was pierced by a dagger,killing him instantly.

The man with the injured right arm tried to attack  again , using his other hand, but the stranger ducked and stabbed him in the heart, killing him.

The main guy grabbed the woman and aimed his gun at her head.

"BACK OFF MAN OR ILL KILL HER!!" He said

The mysterious man said nothing and disappeared into the shadows.

The gang member was scared and screamed

WHERE ARE YOU!!!!!"

"Here" a voiced whispered

....SLICE!!!!!

The man's head was cut , with woman not injured, while the man that took a bullet in the leg looked in horror.

The mysterious armored man looked at the final man as he was crawling away from him.

The armored man grabbed the man towards him and began to repeatedly punch him 

"THIS"

'CRUNCH'

"IS"

'CRUNCH'

"WHAT "

'CRUNCH'

"YOU"

'CRUNCH'

"DESERVE"

The man pleaded in pain for it to stop and that he'll change

The Armored man stopped.

"I've seen this before, you say you'll stop, but then you go back and cause people pain again."

"Just like now"

The final thing the man saw was the wrist blade slicing his throat.

The armored man turned to the woman, frighten by what just happened and began to walk towards her. She closed her eyes, scared and waiting for the end and passed out.

[The next day]

The woman woke up in hospital room , wondering how she got here in the first place after what happened.

"Ah, good you're awake ma'am" the doctor said as he walked in.

"What happened?" the woman asked.

"I was hopping you tell me, you were found in front of the door, our receptionist said she saw a strange man leave you there and suddenly disappear" the doctor said as he looked through her file.

As the doctor continued to explain her situation, the woman turned to the window and saw the man kneeling on the edge of a church,watching over the city.

The man stood up and began to walked away, but stopped a turned and saw her.

She just smiled and waved at him,then he nodded his head and vanished from sight.

"Excuse me ma'am" the woman turned and saw the two police officers by the door

"These men would like to ask you questions about what happened last night" the doctor said

She nodded OK as the officers walked in and took a seat

"Alright Ms. Foster ,could you tell us what happened" one of the police oficers asked as the other began to take notes.

"He saved me"

The police looked confused at that statement.

"He?"
