Everyone in the city was there at the ball, fancy music was playing, everyone dancing having a good time, except David those words circled through his head through the whole celebration. The announcer started calling each member of the royal family. "Their royal highnesses Prince Tyler and a beloved King." Everyone started to clap Luna was within the crowd waiting for David to come out.

"And now our returning Prince David!" everyone clapped with all their might, Luna also clapped, she was so happy but she could sense something was wrong with him. Later on David made his way to were Luna was the crowd parted and made a path way to where Luna was standing, there was a spotlight on David. He winked at her once she made eye contact, she giggled, she still couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

He took her hands and looked into her green eyes and she looked into his teal eyes. "So are we going to dance?" Luna asked. "Sure." He said nervously. "David I know you've never danced like this before but it's your own party you can dance whatever you want to." She said as she blushed.

"Oh ok good because I can't dance to these kind of things." He said as he prepared to dance. The music started to play and everyone started to dance. David was out of it he didn't look at her or anything.

"David? Are you ok you seem distracted." She asked with a gentle voice. "Yeah I'm fine." "David don't lie to me I know something's wrong." "Oh yeah with your powers and all." "David what's wrong. She pushed. "Sigh... It's this whole marry when 18 rule, my father wants to find me a bride by the time I'm 18."

"Oh I see and that bothers you a lot I guess." She said. "Yeah I don't want to be married by 18 I still have a life to live." "Yeah I know David my father told me he went through the same thing when he was young, and look it turned out great so maybe it won't be so bad."

"Yeah maybe, the worst part is if I don't find one by November my dad will find one for me." David looked down to the ground he didn't even look at Luna he was to disappointed. "Hey look at me." She said as she pulled his head up to look at her eye to eye.

"This is no time to be sad this is your return ball you should be happy, you David prince of the light city, have a good life." Luna said. "You know what Luna your right I have a best friend back on Earth I have a loving family and most of all I have you." He said.

"Ok?" he said awkwardly. His dad pulled a girl with red hair and green eyes wearing a green puffy dress aside. "This is Rachel the daughter of the King on the planet of dawn." "Hi It's nice to meet you." Luna said nicely. "Whatever I don't care about you I care about this hero right here." She said with a snooty attitude.

"Um...nice to meet you to." David said with a angry look on his face. "So what are you doing this evening?" "Well I guess just hanging out with Luna afterwards." "Son, I have arranged a dinner for you and Rachel so you can get to know each other."

"Dad Seriously I can't believe you set this up without my consent!" he yelled. "I am the king and I don't need consent from you." The King yelled back. "Well now I know my final choice." He said. He stormed out of the ball room and left Rachel and Luna standing there. "I'm going to go talk to him." Rachel said. "No! I'll talk to him I know him better." Luna said running after him.

"Your magisty may I go talk to him?" Rachel asked. "Sure go but I don't think he will listen to you, he will listen to Luna though, but you can try. He said.
