"Yesterday was so embarrassing" Jack complained to Gilinsky as he told Jack what happened after he ran away faster then the flash.

It was the day after Jack's awkward encounter with Arabella and he wouldn't stop talking about it.

"Dude, it wasn't that bad" Gilinsky says trying to reassure his friend.

"Wasn't that bad? It was horrid! I ran into a tree branch for gods sake!" Jack exclaims as he and Gilinsky made their way to his locker.

"No offense, but please shut up" Gilinsky replies as Jack throws open his locker.

"Sorry dude, she just makes me go crazy" Jack apologizes.

"Speaking of Arabella" Gilinsky says looking past Jack to see Arabella walking to her locker.

"Hey Bella" Gilinsky says to Arabella as she passes by.

"Sup G" Arabella replies.

"Hi Arabella" Jack says, managing to not stutter for once, especially after the awkward compliment of the day before.

"Hey Jack" Arabella replies as she does a rather confusing handshake with Gilinsky.

She said hey! Jack thought, overcome with excitement.

"So, you got any plans this weekend?" Gilinsky asks Arabella trying to make conversation and a window for Jack to man up and ask her to hang out even though he knew it would probably never happen.

"Not really, probably going to harass Taylor at work" Arabella replies.

"Nice" Gilinsky says chuckling.

Jack stares at Arabella admiring her beauty as he does often.

Unlike many other times, she noticed.

"You good Jack?" Arabella asks both quite confused and slightly blushing.

I need to stop this god damn blushing around that kid, Arabella thought.

"He's good. See you later Bells" Gilinsky pipes in, saving Jack from even more embarrassment.

"Okay then... See you later losers" Arabella says as she walks away, towards some other fellow delinquents.

"You need to chill" Gilinsky says once Arabella goes out of earshot, getting quite annoyed with Jack.

"Ok, ok. I'm like a polar bear in the Atlantic polar ice caps, chill." Jack says trying his best to pull a cool kid face.

"You look like your constipated. Please stop" Gilinsky tells Jack, face palming.

Jack sighs, a frown forming on his soft lips.

"Ok, stop that. You're too damn cute." Gilinsky says, jealous of Jack's cutness.

The bell blares through the speakers as kids scuffle through the halls making their way to their next class.

"See you Jack" Gilinsky says to Jack as he makes his through the crowd of kids.

"Bye Gilinsky" Jack replies, left all alone again.

But then again, he's used to be lonley.
