I was walking along the dirt road looking for the guild Sabertooth. I was walking with my two friends. Apepon who was walking on all four. He was a ape like guy, like Tarzan. The other one was Jonathan, he can change his form. Transformation magic, he changes into large creatures. We walked down the road and of course they both started arguing with each other.

"Come on you can't do that. Changing your form like that would probably tear your body apart." Apepon said and Jonathan started shaking his head.

"I'm telling you I can. And one day I'll show you." Jon said and they stopped talking after I glared at them. "Sorry Ara. You thinking about how your going into introduce yourself to that shadow guy." He said and I looked away.

"So what if I was. He saved me that day, if he wasn't there that day I would have died. I just wanted to thank him, I never got the chance that day." I said and they both smiled. I glared at them again.

My name is Ara Stone. I'm 19 years old and the magic I use is stuff that most would consider dark magic, like Zeref. I lived in a village far inland. I've never left my home after I was saved, Apepon and Jonathan came with me so I wouldn't get hurt. The one who saved by a man who called himself Rouge, he had saved me from the villagers because of me powers I was always getting hurt everyday of my life. Hit with rocks and sticks, punch and kicked. Apepon and Jonathan we're the only ones that protected me. They went with me so I wouldn't get hurt by strangers or monsters. Even after saying my thanks to Rouge, I couldn't go back to my village. They would still hurt me. We walked until we reached a town and saw a large building.

"That must be where Sabertooth is located. One step closer." Jonathan said and I nodded my head. We walked through the town and heard people shouting.

"Get him!!" Someone shouted and we walked over to the noises. There we saw a group of people fighting each other. Then someone got body slammed.

"Come on is there anyone who came defeat the Mighty Sting!" A boy shouted and looked at Apepon. "You there. Ape man come and fight me!" He shouted pointing at Aprpon. Apepon smiled and looked at me. I sighed and nodded my head, Apepon climbed into the arena. "Show me what you got!" He yelled. They started fighting each other.

"You are annoying Sting. Why do you want to fight random people." I heard a voice, coming from the side of the arena.

"Come on I want to see what people got Rouge!" He said and my eyes opened wide. I looked around and there he was.

"Rouge..." I softly said and he must have heard me because he looked at me. I looked away quickly, feeling my face turn red. Jonathan looked at me with concern.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked but I continued to look down. I looked up as Sting was getting beat by Apepon and that was making Sting mad. He used some kind of white magic and that hurt Apepon badly.

"Apepon!" I called out and jumped into the ring. I held him, Jonathan came over to us and tried to help Apepon. Sting was getting mad because we were interfering with the fight.

"Hey we are fighting here. So move back and let him fight me." He said.

"He is in no condition to fight you!" I said standing up, moving in front of him. "So I will fight you instead." I said and Jonathan looked at me with fear in his eyes.
