- Chapter 10 -

You've. . . changed [Reunion part Two]

The afternoon had reached its limit and it was Misaki's turn to leave her house and go to the meeting place where the former swim club of Iwatobi would be waiting for her. She had thrown on her normal clothes and had informed her grandparents about her depart; everything was settled. Biding a short good-bye at them, she closed behind her the house's door and left for the meeting place.

The girl turned to leave, her gaze falling upon the calm blue sea before departing from her house. It has been a long time indeed, she thought nostalgically, furrowing her eyebrows. Shruging away those thoughts, Misaki walked the familiar road which led in her old school, memories invanding in her mind.

"Misaki!" a masculine voice called and the girl turned, her eyes meeting the brunette who was waiting alone outside the fresh-painted building.

"A-ah. Makoto" the raven head greeted back, smiling slightly at the male. He hadn't changed at all. His brown messy bangs were still falling on his smiling face, giving him a cute element and showing off his beight green eyes.

Makoto smiled back at her, being relieved that she had started amiling again. "The others will come in a bit. Shall we wait there?" he asked, pointing under the closed gates of the school. Misaki nodded and followed him from back, looking at the old school.

"This sure brings back memories" the girl mumbled when they got under the sakura tree, grey eyes staring at the fallen pink petals of the tree. Summer was finishing in less than month and everyone was waiting for the moment they'd see their friends in the school again. Makoto was waiting for these years to pass so Misaki would come back and they'd meet again.

The brunette nodded and decided to keep quiet and watch the calm sea waves together with the girl. When he opened his mouth to ask her something, a loud voice caught him off guard and made him look shocked at the direction it was coming from.

"Misa-chaaaaaaannn!!!!" a too familiar voice yelled and loud footstoes were rushingly approaching the two loners. It proved that Nagisa was the one who was yelling while Rei, Gou, a purple haired guy and another red haired one were following the running male from

behind.

"Nagisa! Wait for us!" Gou's voice was heard loudly and it was followed by some pants from

the other guys.

The blond male glomped Misaki and almost made her fall on the floor if it wasn't Makoto who held her and prevented her harsh fall. Nagisa apologized while Gou started scolding him, Rei sighing and Makoto doing the same. The scene made a small smile etch Misaki's face which was something new for her.

"Aah, Nagisa, try to be more careful next time" the brunette scolded Nagisa as he anime fell.

Misaki looked at the two new faces: the purple haired guy who was looking a bit scary and the red haired guy who was. . . sitting down and playing with a butterfly?! What? That made Misaki heavily sweat drop out of character and wonder what she had gotten herself into. A small reunion or a crazy psycho group?

"And this is where we usually hang out! You should definitely come and join us sometime, Misaki-san~" Gou adviced the raven head who simply nodded and looked at the small cafe they were sitting at.

Meanwhile, the two mysterious boys had introduced herself at her. The purple head was Rin, Gou's older brother who was apparently in the same class as Misaki, Makoto and Haruka. He used to know the swim club since they were kids and after many difficulties, they were finally again together except Haruka who was currently studying in Australia. The second one was Momotaro, Samezuka Swim Club's former captain's brother who happened to be Gou's boyfriend secretly. Gou had told Misaki that only Rin didn't know but they were going to announce it to him soon. Rin was hating Momotaro a bit for some unknown reason so he would be completely angry when he'd find that his beloved sister was dating the red head.

The raven head shipped quietly her hot chocolate -even if it was summer- and she watched as Makoto argued with Momotaro. She couldn't help but stare and smile at the sight, happy memories flowing in her mind.

"Ern, Misaki? Is everything alright?"

"E-eh. . . uh. . . Everything's fine why do you ask?" Misaki was caught by Makoto taring at him and that made her cheeks a bit flustered from embarassement; she wasn't your average social person anyways.

"Because you have been staring at me for some minutes now"

"I . . . I didn't mean to!" The girl quickly retorted, her face being more red than a tomato. Especially now that all of them were staring at her.

Suddenly (again) Gou's voice was heard, "Kyaaa!! I ship you two! MakoMisa!! Kyaaah~~!"

Her notification made both of the shipped blush harder (that goes for Misaki) and quickly look away from each other. Makoto stole a small glance from the raven's blushing face and grinned slightly, at least knowing that she would probably have some feelings concerning him.

Suddenly, his phone rang and he looked at it confused before opening it and answering, "Kisumi?"

"Ki-Kiss me?" Misaki asked weirdly because she was spacing out and didn't hear out well. She gave a confused look at everyone and in a second, the rest of them had broken in a session of hysterical laughter. The raven head became more flushed and hid behind a catalog, mumbling curses under her breath.

The conversation with that Kisumi guy continued and a small frown appeared on his face, soon closing the portable phone. Misaki raised an eyebrow at him and as an i sant, the brunette stood up, earning some confused looks for the nth time from the company.

"Eto, minna-san. . . Kisumi apparently can't watch out my siblings today because he fell sick so I have to go and babysit them. Gomenasai"

Makoto turned to leave but was abruptly cut off when Misaki stopped him, "I can come and help you if you want". The girl didn't know why she had done that but it sounded so right in her mind, resulting her to blurr out this suggestion.

"Ah, I don't want to trouble you, Misaki"

"N-No, really, it's fine"

"Are you sure?"

"Hai, Makoto" The ravenette followed behind the green-eyed male, biding her good-bye to her friends and thanking them for the small yet amusing reunion. As she followed him, she noticed the male eyeing er and she raised an eyebrow at him.

"Ermm. . . ?"

"You know what, Misaki?"

The ravenette gave him a dumbfounded look and motioned to him to continue, truly curious about what he was thinking right now.

"You've. . . changed"

Woop, one of the last chapters is finished! As you may already know, this fanfiction is coming to an end so I can say we have. . . two or three more chapters to go?
