Once upon a time there was a girl named Zoe who wished to be a pirate. She never succeeded to become one tho due to the fact that it's the 21st century, and piracy is kinda illegal. However she dressed like a pirate every day, with her musketeer boots and loose fitting blouses. Her hair was cotton candy pink, which was not very piraty, but it was her life so mind your own business. Anyway she loved designing clothes, and one day a righteous dude by the name of Emerson Barret from the band Palaye Royale noticed her drawings. Groovy, he remarked to his band mates/ brothers. He spoke like this because he'd had one acid trip too many and his brain was now permanently stuck in the 70's. Not that that was a bad thing, since he was in a band that had the leadsinger dressing as a goth vampire bat, the guitarist dressed in velvet blazers, and he wore an amazing pirate ensemble. By chance the girl was a fan of this band, mainly due to a picture of Emerson that she saw one day scrolling through Instagram. Since they both loved pirates. They agreed that she would design a costume for him. They performed a concert in London, so as she lived in Neverland she hopped on a boat and crossed the channel. However by luck, faith, or bad karma the hat she made for Emmy flew of the boat with a gush of wind. She leaped overboard with not a second's hesitation. Some elderly woman shook their heads, remarking the teens of today with their texting and near drowning. Zoe's friend Billy called a lifeguard who was present on the boat. But Zoe had disappeared for the time being. She had in fact grabbed the hat and swam back to the boat when one of the elderberries threw a life preserver overboard. It hit her head and she went under for a bit. When she opened her eyes under water she couldn't see a damn thing and it was bloody freezing as well. Emerson had better be grateful for his stupid hat, she thought to herself. She found the light of the sun again, and swam towards it. Only to find it was the shimmer of a tail. Holy shit it's a shark she thought. Not realising there were no sharks anywhere near the channel. The tail moved towards her, and what she saw was a beautiful mermaid. The hypothermia and no air were starting to make her panic tho, so she started flailing. The mermaid grabbed her arms and kissed air in her lungs. Then the mermaid took her hand and her waist and swam back to the surface. The boat had stopped and Zoe could hear Billy screaming as she popped up again. She looked at her saviour and whispered a thank you. You saved my life, she said. I know said the mermaid back and gave her a cheeky wink. Zoe noticed she was still holding the hat. A momentum? She said while offering the hat to the mermaid. Keep it said the mermaid. I'll be in Neverland if you need me. Just join Hook's crew, and visit me when the time comes. I will, said Zoe. As the mermaid swam back, Zoe yelled. What is your name?! Uniquecorn Liza said the mermaid. But you can call me babe. With a kiss in the air she dived back under, before the boat for near Zoe again. Zoe was saved and finished the outfit, after which she returned to Neverland, and found her babe again.
