(A/N: I don't own the photos or art in this book. Also, I didn't know what to put here, so enjoy a pretty kitty)

Digi was walking down the street, her violet fur swaying in the wind. She was going to meet up with her friend, Reality (that wasn't her real name, her real name was cherry, and somehow she received the nickname Reality in elementary school and it stuck).

She felt her phone buzz. She reached into her pocket. Thunder was texting her that Radi just left for her job and she was gonna go to the mall. Digi texted her back, and put the phone in her pocket.

several minutes later, Digi found Reality at their favorite coffee shop and sat at a table with her.

"Sooo, how was it?!" Digi was caught off guard by Reality's sudden question/exclaimation while deciding how much coffee she would need to function properly that day. When she realized that Reality was talking about the date that she had a few days earlier, with a boy named Boomerang.

"Oh, uhh..." Digi blushed as she tried to think of the least embarrassing thing that happened that night.

" He kissed you, didn't he? "

Digi blushed like mad as she hid her face in her palms.

"New subject, please ," she whispered as she recalled what had happened that night.

boomerang had taken her to a fancy restaurant down town. They talked and laughed, then he took her on a walk to the gazebo, where he asked her to be his girlfriend. After that, they kissed for, like, half an hour at least. Must have been quite a sight for a passerby.

After about an hour of talking about girl problems and relation ship deals, Digi has to go. She texted Boomerang to see if wanted to come over and watch Netflix with her.

She was walking back to her house, when she heard muffled yells. She turned the corner to find out what it was. Her heart almost stopped when she realized that it was Heartlock laboratories. Splatters of blood stained the wall, but whatever, or WHOever for that matter, had done it seemed to vanish. Digi's hand shook as she stared at the scene and called 911. 

" 911, what is your emergency?" A disgustingly cheery voice said.

 "I-I...um.." Her voice shook as the horrific memories flooded back to her. " Just.... Just get the police here... "

 "Where are you at, sweetie?"

Digi took a deep breath and started talking again.              "Heartlock laboratories."

She could almost feel the operator stiffen.

" Stay there, sweetie. The police are in there way. "

Digi hung up and texted Boomerang that they couldn't watch Netflix that day. Then she sat down and cried softly, all her emotions coming back to her.

Suddenly, she felt stiff, cold hands touch her shoulders and turned to see a.... Familiar man... Holding a gun to her face.

"If you want to live," he snarled. "I suggest you follow me. "

Digi followed him... Only to the corner of the building.

The man shot her in the arm and gagged her. She passed out from pain. The familiar cat dragged her to the back of the building... Opening one of the secret rooms to the laboratory.

"Heh. At least your sister out up a better fight than you."

He closed the door.
