No words from her in days

Her image has gone blank

No longer can she be seen in the place that we shared

Her voice now absent lingers on my ears

I could feel her drifting away over the past few months

As I adjusted to the change I missed out on our the best of our last exchanges

I guess that's how it is in life

Never knowing which way to turn

Thinking that things will change if I change to accommodate the situations at hand

Only to find that she's gone
