We have lost another musical treasure!!!

I have been absorbed in his sound since his first album, "For You", released April 7, 1978, hit the airwaves with "Soft and Wet"...

It was the new funked up sound around!!!

Being the licorice pizza freak that I was, I was off to the record store cause this guy was speaking my language!!!

Ironically 38 years later... Almost to the date... I am jolted again...

I talked to my sister and we are in agreement...

This is like losing a friend...

His music played at my prom. Kept me pumped up aboard my first at sea duty station. Set the mood for many romantic engagements...

Ooo... The the tears are already being shed...

Hell!!! I feel a little weepy myself as I reminisce his soundtrack entries of my life!!!

So fans... Let the rains begin!!!
