I saw Alonzo today... He looked a mess. Still it was good to see him.

We talked for a short while. I could tell from the look on his face that he hadn't a clue as to who I was. Still, it was good to see him.

We talked about the "salt mine", where we met. Gosh... It must have been twenty five or more years ago. Wow... A quarter of a century. Still, it was good to see to him.

We of course were both much younger then. He remembered "Mister", whom I look exactly like. Enough said about that. Still, it was good to see him.

I saw Alonzo today... And yes, it was good to see him. He seemed to be in good health, at least physically

It is always good to see people who I haven't seen for a while.

If for no other reason than to reconnect to the past.
