Alexandrea's P.O.V

Bex, Zoey and I walked down the hallway of the school as we finished the third class. After yesterday that Zoey burnt the kitchen, she kept on apologizing to my mom and my mom forgave her. We all cleaned up the kitchen together and Nick and Zoey had to go home because dinner came late due to the kitchen.

Bex went home some minutes later after Zoey and Nick.

"Have you talked to Eli? Since the.... incident?" Zoey asked looking at me, grabbing Bex's attention too.

"Not really" I sighed. "A lot of shit has been going on lately so I didn't have the time"

"True" Bex muttered. "I just can't wait to graduate. I'm so happy this is our last year" She smiled.

"Me too!" Zoey giggled. We saw Eddy and Eli coming out of Biology class and everything just seemed to stop. His perfect hair, his beautiful eye, the way he smiled when his eyes met mine. Oh gawddd....

"Alex!" Bex nudged me, jerking me back to reality.

"Hm?" I looked at her as she shot me an inquisitive look and nodded her head in Eli's direction.

"Hey!" Eli said, suddenly in front of me, grinning.

"Um..hi" I cleared my throat. Holy shit!! What if I said my thoughts out!!

"So....are you feeling better?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, thank-"

"So we are going to leave now, you know, give you some.....privacy" Bex interrupted pulling Zoey along as the two of them winked at me. I rolled my eyes at them and saw Eddy shaking his head and smiling at Zoey.

"Can we talk after school? My place?" Eli said as he shoved on hand inside the front pocket of his jeans.

"Yeah, yeah sure!" I smiled and he nodded.

"Okay, see you around" he smiled and he left, as his hands brushed mine a little. I watched him leave before someone snapped their fingers in front of my face.

"Stop drooling and let's go to class" Zoey said as she pulled my arm.

"I'm not drooling!" I snapped as I subconsciously wiped my hand over my mouth to check.

"Jeez, okay! No need to go all grumpy pants on me" she rolled her eyes as we began to walk to class.

"I thought you and Bex left already" I asked confused.

"We did....well, she did. Eddy wanted to talk to me so she left alone while I talked to him" she explained and I nodded.

"So....Eddy huh?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her as she blushed.

"Shut up" she said right before we entered our fourth class for the day. Physics.

"Settle down please" The tall male teacher said as he entered the class, bending before he could pass the doorway because of his height. All noisemaking stopped and were replaced by groans and murmurs. We sat in our seats and I waved at Bex immediately our eyes met as she winked back.

"Today, we'll be discussing some past questions since your final exams are on the way" Mr Dab, the teacher said and he stood in front of the class, turning the pages of a large textbook occasionally. More groans echoed in the class which included mine because physics was definitely not my thing.

"Sir, I need to use the restroom" Bex raised her hand as all the attention goes to her.

"Make it quick" Mr Dab said as she left the class. I placed my head on the table, still facing the class.

"Question number one, What kind of motion is the movement...." Mr Dab's voice started to fade out, as my eyes begin to close. I opened them again and saw Mr Dab explaining something on the board as his back faced the class. I used this opportunity to close my eyes for just two minutes.

Just two minutes.

"Miss Dwyane!" I heard Mr Dab yell and I sprung up immediately. "Is my class too boring for you?" He asked and I rubbed my eye.

"Uh... no sir. I'm sorry sir" I muttered groggily as I tried to keep my eyes open. God, I just wanna cuddle up in bed and sleep right now.

"Where's Miss Johnson? She has been in the restroom for the past 12minutes" Mr Dab said checking the time on his wristwatch loosely hanging on his wrist. Wait, I slept when Bex left the class. So I had been asleep for 12minutes? Whoa...

"Someone should-" Mr Dab was cut off as Bex entered the class with a confused expression. But that was not the only problem, she was holding a teddy bear. That kind of teddy bear, as she walked towards me.

"Uh..Alex, someone said I should give this to you...." She trailed off staring at me with a confused expression. I furrowed my eyebrows and collected it from her as she went back to her seat after glancing at me over her shoulder one more time. The whole class's attention was on me as my cheeks warmed up in embarrassment.

"Mrs Johnson, since you've successfully managed to distract the class, can you explain the Simple Harmonic Motion?" Mr Dab said, his hand folded behind his back as he walked slowly towards Bex who gulped loudly. I put the teddy bear

She stood up and glanced at me "It is um..." She trailed off signalling to me, asking if I know it. I shook my head as discreetly as possible. Then something incredible happened.

The bell rung.

Students stood up and packed their stuffs, making their way towards the door as I watched Bex heave a breath of relief. I grabbed the Teddy bear and my books, leaving the class before Zoey and Bex to avoid questions about the Teddy bear. I practically sped-walked to my locker and tried to quickly stuff my books in the locker before someone touched my shoulder scaring me to the bone.

My heart almost flew out of my in chest in fear as I turned around to meet Eddy, laughing his guys out at my reaction. I rolled my eyes and gave him a light lunch on the shoulder.

"You shouldn't scare me like that, what if I had an heart attack or something" I said breathing out as I closed my locker behind me after grabbing the note for the next class. Which was History of course.

"You should have seen your face. You eyes looked like they were about to pop from their sockets" be wheezed and I rolled my eyes. Idiot..

"Haha, very funny. What's up!" I smiled at him. He's the only person that is not complicating things for me. Innocent Eddy.

"Eli just sent me ask you if you would like to skip?" He said and I almost gasped in all the oxygen in school. Eli wore an amused expression as he watched my reaction.

"Me? Skip class? I've never ever ever and will never ever ever skip class like ever ever ever-"

"Okay, I get it" he rolled his eyes cutting off my dramatic reaction to his question. "But this is Eli. Elijah. Elijah Perkins" Eddy wiggled his eyebrows at me. Shit! He knows! Am I that obvious? What if Eli knows? Oh gawd, I'll never be able to face him if he found out!!

"I know" I blushed and bit my lower lip in thought. Maybe I should just skip. I mean, it's just one class, right?
"Where will I meet him?" I asked looking at Eddy.

"In the parking lot. I knew my charm was gonna work" he said and flipped his imaginary long hair, swaying his hips as he walked away. The way his hips moved so easily was a surprising but weird thing to look at but I just couldn't look away. Till he walked out of sight.

"Shit, shit, shit. I'm gonna skip class!!!" I squealed making some of the students in the hallway glare at me. I cleared my throat awkwardly and returned my note to my locker.

I practically jumped to the parking lot as I saw Eli leaning against his car. My mind unconsciously drifted to Nick making me wonder what happened to his car. Eli saw me coming and his eyes lit up, a grin spreading on his face as I shot him a smile back. Maybe...just maybe he liked me back. I hope....

"Alex, you came" he said as if he couldn't believe it. I blushed as I darted my gaze to the floor. He grabbed my hand and led me to the passenger door, making my heart do a flip. He opened the door for me and Nick came to my mind, again. He never opens the door, he need some lesson from Eli on how to treat a girl.

I slipped in and muttered a 'thank you' as he slammed the door, jogging to the driver's side. He slid in and smiled at me one more time before starting the car and exiting the parking lot.

"So....where are we going?" I looked at him and he gave me a quick glance before returning his gaze to the road.

"A really nice coffee shop" he said and Nick popped up in my mind. I remember when he took me to that secret restaurant after Eli ditched me. I asked where we were going and he didn't tell me. Hold up! I'm not going to let Nick pop up in my mind again. It's meant to be a nice time between Eli and I.

"We're here" he smiled and pulled up in the driveway of a building with the name, 'Just Chill' written boldly on a sign board beside it. Wait, is this a date? What if it's date? It can't be! But what if it is....

"Alex?" My head snapped towards Eli as he called my name. The door was held open for me and I smiled, slipping out of the car. His warm hands interwined with mine as we walked side by side towards the cute cafe. We found a sit and I sat down as he sat opposite me. We pulled our hands away from each other as soon as we sat down, making me frown a bit.

"What would you like?" A beaming guy asked with a notepad in his hands as he stared down at us with a wide grin. Damn....he seems really happy with his job. That reminds me of Chef...

"Hey, are you okay?" Eli gave me a worried look from across the table and I nodded. I'm not going to be hung up on the past, I'm going to move on. Well, I'll try to move on.

"Coffee, with sugar and milk" I answered the boy that was practically bubbling with excitement. He nodded and looked over to Eli for what he wanted. Can he really like me back? Even after he finds out everything? The scars and my messed up life? Will he be able to take it all?

"So....I brought you here so we could talk. We haven't done that for days" he chuckled quietly and leaned on the table with his elbow. I watched him with curious eyes and took a deep breath.

"Yeah, sorry about that. I was just so angry about the..." I trailed off not wanting to Talk about my problems. "....stuff. I'm uh... sorry" I said and fiddled with the hem of my shirt.

"It's fine. We have the time now" he smiled as I met his gaze."So...would you like to talk about the things your mom told me?" He asked cautiously.

"No" I said, keeping the answer simple and straight.

"I just want you to be okay and know I'll always be here for you" he smiled. I smiled back and nodded at him. Oh my God! His dimples, so cute. I want to poke them.

"You want to poke my dimples?" He chuckled in amusement as my eyes widened. My cheeks warmed up in embarrassment as I realized I just said that aloud. What the freaking hell?!

"What?! I..um..You...how..." I stuttered as my cheeks turned redder by the minute.

"Yes, you said that out loud" he smirked as he leaned across the table. The boy from earlier came and serves us what we ordered. We talked about random things and I respected the fact that he didn't bother me about the issue anymore. Soon, we were on our way back to school and I couldn't help the way my stomach did flips as we walked back to my locker.

I caught Nick's glancing at me as he looked away immediately our eyes met. I got to my locker and turned to Eli whose hands were in his pockets, grinning at me.

"I had a nice time. Thanks Eli" I smiled at him. He nodded and leaned in as my eyes widened, then he leaned back. He nodded at me and left the other way. I opened my locker and out my head inside a little bit.

"Holy freaking shit!!!! Alex!!! You are in fire!!! No, wait!!! You're stupid!! You should have told him and how could you say that aloud!!! Are you freaking insane!!!! You can do this!!! You're tough!!! You-"

"Is this what schizophrenia looks like?" A deep voice startled me, making me jump. I glared at Nick as he looked at me with amusement in his eyes. His arms were folded over the other as he leaned against the locker next to mine.

"What are you doing here?" I glared at him ignoring his comment about my rant.

"To learn. I mean that's what school is for, right?" He said with a smirk as I took a deep breath. In and Out.

"To learn. That's what school is for right?" I mimicked him, making a silly face. "Idiot. What are you doing by my locker?"

"I just don't get you. You kiss me one day and go on a date with someone else the other. What game are you playing?" He said as the looked at me pointedly. My cheeks turned crimson red as I was reminded of the kiss.

"It was a mistake okay? My emotions were around the place so I....I just...did it without thinking" I said as I looked at anywhere but him. I looked at him and found him looking at me, his emotions were guarded so I don't even know what he was thinking.

"Right. So you have a not really obvious crush on my best friend?" He raised an eyebrow as a smirk played in his lips.

"I do not!" I defended and folded my arms over my chest. "Okay, maybe. A little"

"Hm" he hummed and walked away. I shrugged and took my note to get ready for the next class. I walked to class as very long tanned legs obstructed my way. You guessed right, Stephanie.

"Long time no talk" her high pitched voice could be heard as she walked closer to me.

"Look Steph, I'm not in the mood for your problems right now" I said, meeting her gaze and she raised an eyebrow. Honestly, Stephanie is beautiful. Scratch that, she's extremely gorgeous, with or without make up. But I guess you can't judge her actions by her pretty face.

"Oh really? Problem? The only problem here is you. You like Eli so why the hell do you talk to Nick. Nick is mine. And will always be." She said and her minions chorused a 'yes bitch' behind her. I sighed and scanned her dressing.

"How do you know I like Eli?" I asked the only question that popped up in my mind. "And Nick doesn't belong to you because he not an object, he's human" I blurted out before I could stop myself.

"Everyone knows you like Eli but he would never go for a low class like you" She said and it stung. A lot. She's right. If he caught a glimpse of my scars, he'd be running for the hills. "But I can help you" she said, making my head perk up in eagerness.

"Huh?" I said confused. Stephanie is willing to help me. This is probably a bad idea....

"I will help you only if you promise to stay away from my Nick and if you help em get him" she smiled as she walked in long strides around me, twirling my hair around her fingers. Nick is my friend, but he's trouble and besides it's not like I like him or something. Okay, maybe I should give this a try.

"When do we start?" I said with hesitation as a grin appeared on her caked face.
