"Ah am not wearin' that."

Rainbow pouted. She looked up at her girlfriend with big puppy eyes.

"Please?" She begged.

Applejack crossed her arms, stubbornly. She glared at Rainbow. Rainbow had come home from goodness knows where with a reindeer costume. She had the craziest idea that Applejack would wear it to Twilight's Christmas costume party tonight. Applejack nearly laughed. Yeah right. Wear that? Not in a million years.
Applejack eyed the costume. It wasn't ugly. Just not something she'd wear. Ever. It was basically a onesie and a reindeer antlers headband. Something Pinkie would wear.

"Are you crazy?" She snorted. "Ah ain't wearin' that thing. It's ridiculous."

Rainbow gave her a look that said oh come on.

"It's just a costume, AJ. It won't kill you. It'll be fun."

Applejack shook her head.

"Nope. Sorry, babe."

Rainbow groaned.

"Fine. What do I have to do to get you to wear this?"

That was new. Rainbow was willing to do something in exchange. Applejack had complete power over Rainbow right then and there. She smirked. Rainbow's eyes eyed her in slight fear, although she tried to hide it. That look meant nothing good for her.

"Ah think ah have an idea." Applejack said.

"I hate this."

Rainbow crossed her arms, a blush on her face. She looked at her reflection. She looked down at her elf costume. She turned around. She saw a reindeer dressed Applejack sitting on their bed, smirking. Rainbow huffed

"Do I have to wear this?" She complained.

"You said you'd do anythin' if ah wore this." Applejack reminded her. "Now you gotta wear that to the party."

She looked Rainbow Dash up and down.

"It actually don't look bad at all on ya. You look cute."

Applejack got up. She walked up to the embarrassed Rainbow Dash. She wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her close.

"Mah cute little elf."

Rainbow's blush increased, her cheeks and nose bright pink. She looked down at her elf costume. The costume consisted of a dark green short-sleeved top, a skirt that was way too short foe her liking, traditional candy-cane colored stockings along with brown leather shoes of Applejack's choosing, stupid fake elf ears and a dumb little green hat. Rainbow swore that if anyone made fun of her at the party, there would be heads rolling.

Rainbow looked up at her.

"Do you really think it looks good? I don't like how short the skirt is. It makes feel kinda girly."

Applejack grinned.

"Well ain't that somethin'. You actually look like a girl for once."

Rainbow's mouth fell open. She punched Applejack's shoulder.

"Shut up."

Applejack laughed, tilting her head back. Rainbow crossed her arms, trying to be mad. Applejack calmed down, seeing the serious and self-conscious look on Rainbow's face. It almost made her feel bad. Almost. Applejack smiled.

"Hey. At least we both look funny."

"You mean stupid." Rainbow mumbled.

"It was your idea." Applejack reminded her. "So now we share the humiliation."

Rainbow groaned.

"Why are you punishing me?" She asked.

Applejack rolled her eyes.

"It ain't that bad, babe. Stop it."

Rainbow huffed.

"Fine. Let me get my jacket and let's go. Damn antler deer."

"Little green midget." Applejack teased back causing Rainbow to glare at her.

Applejack laughed.

"Ah'm kiddin'. C'mon."

She dragged Rainbow out of the room.

The party was in full swing when they got there. They walked in through the door. They were relieved to see everyone else dressed as something. Angels, demons, Santa, dogs, black cats, princesses. Flash was dressed as Jack Frost. Cool.

"See?." Applejack told Rainbow. "We're all weird lookin'."

Rainbow looked at her. She smiled.

"Fine. Let's go find the others."

Applejack kissed Rainbow on the cheek. Taking her hand, she led Rainbow into the party. All their friends were there. Eating, watching tv, chatting, or drinking (no alcohol!). Rainbow and Applejack likes going to these get togethers. They were usually fun.

They finally found the others, chatting in the kitchen.

"Hey, guys!" Rainbow called.

The girls' turned their heads and looked at the couple. They all smiled.

"Hey!." Twilight said, happy to see her best friends.

Rainbow and Applejack joined them, exchanging hugs and hellos.

"We're glad you two could make it." Twilight said.

She eyed the costumes.

"You guys look so cute." She said.

"It was Rainbow's idea." Applejack said without hesitation. "She wanted me ta wear this, so ah made her wear that."

"Seems fair." Fluttershy spoke up.

"C'mon." Pinkie Pie said. "You guys hungry?"

Rainbow and Applejack both nodded. The  two followed their friends to where the food was. Suddenly Sunset tapped them. They looked at her. Sunset Shimmer pointed upwards. Both girls looked up. A mistletoe.

Rainbow and Applejack blushed and looked at each other. The girls all giggled at the circumstance.

"Well?" Rarity said. "Go on."

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"You're like a creep." She told the fashionista. "You always like it when we kiss. That's weird."

"I can't help it." Rarity squealed. "It's so romantic when you girls kiss."

Rainbow looked at Applejack. Applejack stared back. They both shrugged. Sure. Why the heck not?

They embraced each other and shared a kiss that lasted about three seconds. When they slowly pulled away, they smiled at each other.

"You're cute." Applejack commented. "Mah lil elf. See? It wasn't that bad."

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"Mhm. Sure. Whatever."

But in her head, Rainbow kind of enjoyed dressing up. It was fun. She'd never admit it, not even to Applejack.

Especially Applejack. But she wouldn't mind dressing up again.

"Can I be the reindeer next year?" Rainbow asked quietly.

Applejack laughed. She nuzzled Rainbow, holding her close. She smiled.

"Sure, babe. Whatever you want."

So yeah. Twice in one day
