Rainbow licked her lips as she looked down at the cup of ice cream before her. Two scoops of vanilla ice cream with M&Ms and hot fudge and whipped cream on top. It was heaven.

"Rainbow." Strike said from across the small booth table.

Rainbow looked at him.

"Yeah?."

The man was smirking.

"You okay?? You've been staring at that ice cream for like five minutes. Eat it before one of us does."

Rainbow glared at him.

"I dare you to try- hey!."

Rainbow turned her head in time to see Applejack scoop a spoonful of her ice cream into her mouth. Rainbow glared at the blond teen.

"You suck."

Applejack giggled. "Hey. We're sharin', remember??."

Rainbow pouted and began to eat her ice cream. She and Applejack shared an ice cream cup. Strike and Jackson were forced by Rainbow Dash to share an ice cream. The men knew not to argue with Rainbow Dash. The girl had Applejack on her side, an they did not want Applejack to get on their case or else it'd be game over.

Rainbow smiled. "Mmm. This is great."

Applejack looked at her.

"This week was a lot of fun." She said.

Rainbow and the two men nodded.

"We did a lot of great things and got ta have some fun. This was pretty awesome."

"Yeah." Rainbow agreed. "I loved this vacation. We have to come back again next summer."

Strike grinned. "We'll see, kiddo. Maybe. If we have the money for it."

Rainbow shoveled another glob of ice cream and chocolate fudge. The coldness of the sweet treat made her shiver, goosebumps rising on her skin. It didn't help that the shop was air conditioned. So it was really cold. Rainbow looked at Applejack.

"You are cold??." She asked.

Applejack looked at her. She shrugged and nodded.

"Ah'm good. Why?? You cold??."

Rainbow nodded. "It's freezing in here."

Applejack chuckled. She slipped off the jacket she was wearing. She placed it on Rainbow Dash's shoulders. Rainbow smiled and slipped her arms through the arms of the jacket. It was warm and it smelled like Applejack. Rainbow loved wearing Applejack's jackets. The sleeves were a little big on her. Rainbow blushed at the gesture.

"Thanks." She said. "You didn't have to."

Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's slim frame. She squeezed her, pressing her cheek against Rainbow's cheek.

"You're so cute." She cooed. "Ah love you so much, cutie pie."

Rainbow giggled, blushing.

"Um, Applejack??. Please don't baby me."

Applejack chuckled, letting her go. She kissed Rainbow's cheek. Rainbow blushed even more. She looked up at Strike and Jackson who were grinning at her. Strike had his phone out and up.

Rainbow realized something.

"Hey. Are you taking pictures of us??." She questioned.

Strike nodded.

"Yup, and videos of the two lovebirds." He said without hesitation.

Rainbow rolled her eyes. She looked back.

"Hey!."

Her ice cream was gone. Rainbow immediately looked at Applejack. Applejack was holding the metal cup of ice cream, grinning at Rainbow Dash as she ate the cold treat. Applejack saw Rainbow glaring at her.

"Yes?? Can ah help you??." She asked.

It was somewhat dark in the room. Music blasted from the ceiling speakers. The open-aired room buzzing with noises and filled with people. People were sitting on couches, at the bar, on the large dance floor.

It wasn't a club or anything, just an area where the residents of the resort could go at night and enjoy themselves. It was in a part of the resort that was open to the fresh air.

Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Strike, and Jackson walked in.

"Cool." Rainbow said. "This kinda looks like a club. Except without the drugs and smoking and sex."

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Have you ever been to a club."

Rainbow nodded. "Once when I was little. Don't know how my dad managed to sneak me into one when he was with his friends and had to take me with him while my mom was at work. I remember it like it was yesterday. My parents fought when me and my dad got home."

"He what?!!." Strike shouted, having heard about this for the first time. "He took you to a club?? Where anything could've happen to you?!!."

Rainbow shrunk back, becoming uncomfortable with the volume of his voice. Strike noticed and calmed himself down. He took a deep breath.

"Sorry. I just get worked up when I hear stories about Lightning. Let's go find somewhere to go sit."

Rainbow smiled in understanding. She took her Uncle by the hand. The four walked over to a large couch. They situated themselves. Rainbow looked around the room in curiosity.

"This place is cool." She said, smiling.
"Dancing, a bar, music, chilling. Yup, this is a club."

Applejack rolled her eyes.

"Y'all want somethin' ta drink??." Strike asked, standing up.

"Piña colada!." Rainbow said excitedly.

Strike nodded. "Alright. I'll get one, too. Two virgin piña coladas. What about you, AJ?."

Applejack thought for a second.

"A ginger ale." She requested

"I'll just get a root beer, please." Jackson said.

Strike nodded. "Alright. Be right back."

He walked away.

Rainbow looked around, a smile plastered into her face. She seemed to be enjoying the vibrant and alive environment. Rainbow liked parties. Everything was so cool. The lights, the music, the excitement in the air.

Applejack watched Rainbow Dash. Rainbow looked so happy. It made Applejack's heart soar when Rainbow was happy. Either because she liked it when her girlfriend was happy, or because her blood was pumping out of fear of whatever crazy scheme Rainbow had concocted in that head of hers. Applejack took Rainbow's hand in hers and squeezed.

Rainbow's attention was in Applejack. Rainbow's smile widened. She leaned in and kissed AJ on the lips. Applejack blushed at the display of attention in public. Rainbow softly laid her head on Applejack's shoulder. Applejack wrapped an arm around her waist. She glanced down at the hand in her own. Lifting the hand up to her lips, she gently kissed Rainbow's hand. She heard Rainbow giggle quietly. The sound made Applejack feel warm inside.

Applejack looked up. She saw Strike coming back with their drinks.

"Yir uncle is comin' back." She said

Rainbow and her sat up, looking at Strike. The man walked up to Jackson and the girls.

"Here you go." He said putting the four drinks down on a little coffee table in front of them.

They each grabbed their own drink.

Rainbow took a long sip. Her eyes widened. Pulling the straw from her mouth, she shivered.

Applejack noticed and raised an eyebrow.

Rainbow swallowed.

"Cold." She said. "Very cold."

Applejack took a sip from her own piña colada. It was very good. Applejack has to admit Rainbow was right. It was cold. Applejack sat back. Rainbow suddenly swung her legs up. She scooted her butt up and on Applejack's lap. Rainbow rested her head on her girlfriend's shoulder, while sitting on her lap.

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Rainbow. What're you doin'?."

Rainbow smiled.

"I love you."

She kissed Applejack's right cheek, a stupid smile plastered onto her face. Applejack chuckled. She took a sip from her glass.

"That's disgusting!."

Rainbow and Applejack turned their heads to see a woman standing a few feet away, staring at them in disgust. She had short, curled dark red hair and light brown skin. She was dressed very well. The woman must be rich or something. She looked to be in her thirties. Rainbow would go as far to say she was actually really hot, but not out loud.

Both teens frowned when they realized that she was talking about them.

"You need to take that somewhere else." The woman sneered. "You girls should be ashamed of yourselves. Go do that somewhere else."

Rainbow stood up.

"Rainbow." Applejack said, afraid Rainbow was going to start a fight. "Leave it be."

"Rainbow." Strike warned, standing up as well.

Rainbow ignored them and looked the woman in the eye. She placed a hand on her left hip.

"You talkin' to us??." She asked the woman.

"Yes, stupid." The woman replied angrily.

Rainbow smiled. "You think we should leave??." She said.

The woman rolled her eyes.

"I'd appreciate if you did. Nobody wants to see that."

"Ma'am." Applejack said, shooting up from her seat, ready to chew the woman up.

Rainbow held up a hand, silently telling Applejack to be quiet. She's got this. Applejack did as asked, crossing her arms. She and the men silently watched to see what Rainbow Dash would do. The girl chuckled.

"Oh and um, what are you gonna do about it??." She challenged with a smirk.
"Are you gonna tell on us??."

Rainbow pretended to be afraid. She trembled her legs over-exaggeratedly.

"Oh, I'm shaking in my boots." She mocked

Her face immediately became bluntly serious and sarcasm dripped off her tongue.

"Listen, lady. I don't know who you think you are, telling me what to do with my life. You're not my mother. My mother passed away a long time ago. Don't try to act like you're better than me. I don't care what you have to say. Now, please, go away and leave us alone. This isn't your business and we can kiss if we want."

With that Rainbow turned and faced Applejack. Rainbow Dash quickly stepped forward and pressed her lips against Applejack's. Applejack's eyes widened. Rainbow broke the kiss. She turned and smirked deviously at the woman who looked absolutely repulsed by the kiss.

"Hmmph." She turned on her ankle breaking, tall as hell high heels and walked away with her nose up in the air.

"Go burn in hell, you wretch."

Applejack nearly charged at the woman, when Rainbow Dash grabbed her by the arm and held her back.

"Don't." She said. "It's our last night here, AJ. Let's not gets banned from here. Plus, beating people up out of anger is my thing, dude. Chill out."

Applejack glared at the woman. She crossed her arms again.

"She called ya a wretch. Y'all ain't no wretch. She is."

Rainbow giggled. "No worries, AJ. It's cool. She was totally hating on us cuz she'll be forever alone in this world and never be loved."

Applejack laughed. She shook her head.

"You crack me up, babe."

Rainbow turned to her, smiling. Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's waist. Rainbow and Applejack gently touched foreheads, looking into each other's eyes.

"You're somethin' else, ya know that?." Applejack said.

"Yup." Rainbow chirped.

"Ok, lovebirds. C'mon."

The girls were taken back to their surroundings. They turned their heads to see Jackson and Strike standing there, grinning. Rainbow and Applejack took a step apart, blushing deep red.

"Let's head back to our rooms." Strike said. "We need to sleep as much as we can. You girls can make out once we get to the room."

The girls followed the two men out of the area and into the lobby of the main building. They went out the front entrance and walked all the way to their rooms. Rainbow found herself yawning quite a few times. She held Applejack's hand the entire time.

Once they got there, Applejack looked at her dad.

"What time do we gotta wake up ta leave, pops?." She asked

Jackson took his phone out of his pocket and checked the time.

"We leave ta go to the airport at 1am, so that means we gotta wake up round 12:30."

The girls nodded.

"Alright." Strike said. "See you girls in a few hours. Get some sleep. It's gonna be a long night."

The two pairs went into their rooms. Rainbow closed and locked the door behind her. As soon as she did, Rainbow and Applejack changed clothes. Rainbow tossed her shirt on her luggage she changed her pants into sweats. Applejack had changed into pajamas. The two girls went to brush their teeth, then put their phones to charge, climbed into their shared bed and turned off the lights.

Rainbow laid down on her side, pulling the blanket up. She breathed out through her nose, closing her eyes.

"Good night, AJ." She said.

She suddenly felt a strong arm snake around her waist and a body against her back.

"No good night kiss?." Applejack purred in Rainbow's ear.

Rainbow felt Applejack lightly rub her hip. She turned her body around so she was laying on her back. She looked up to see Applejack over her, smiling fondly at her.

"Sorry. Forgot." Rainbow said.

Applejack grinned. She brushed hair out of Rainbow's face. She leaned down and pressed their lips together. Rainbow closed her eyes and returned the gentle kiss. The kiss heated up, Rainbow's hands tangling in Applejack's long blond hair. Applejack's hands wrapped around Rainbow's slim body, embracing her and pulling her closer. Applejack was glad to finally have the chance to be alone with Rainbow Dash like this again. She enjoyed every bit of it. The feeling of Rainbow being so close made her night better.

The two made out for quite some time, their legs tangled in the sheets. Rainbow giggled every so often. Her hands were firmly cupping Applejack's face. Her legs were wrapped around Applejack, who was now laying on top of her. AJ herself was enjoying the moment as well. Her rough yet gentle hands roamed and explored Rainbow's body from her shoulders to her hips and lower back.

The kiss made lightning shoot up Rainbow's body, feeling every nerve in her body. She loved these moments with Applejack. It made her feel loved and alive. It showed her that Applejack truly loved her and that it wasn't all just in her head or a trick.

Applejack broke the kiss. She opened her eyes and looked down at Rainbow with lidded eyes.

"Ah love you, baby." She said.

Rainbow blushed at the words. She smiled.

"I love you, too, AJ. And I always will."

Applejack pecked her on the lips. She smiled.

"This was an awesome vacation." Rainbow Dash. "I wish we could stay a bit longer."

"Me too, sugarcube." Applejack agreed

"Remember when we went zip lining??. It was the best day ever. And the pool was so cool and big and this room and the peacocks and......."

She looked up at Applejack. Her smile softened.

"But the best part was that we got to spend time together. I wouldn't wanna be anywhere like this without you."

Applejack blushed.

"Aw shucks. You're too sweet, RD. Too bad you're not like this around everybody else."

Rainbow shrugged and smirked.

"No way am I throwing away my reputation to be all sappy and sickeningly cute like this. Don't tell anyone I said that."

She lightly jabbed her pointer finger into Applejack's chest, giving her a serious look. Applejack chuckled again. She pulled Rainbow's hand away from her and intertwined their fingers together.

"Well, we wouldn't want that, now would we?? Ah won't tell anyone. Ah promise."

"Let's get some sleep, baby. C'mon."

Applejack slowly got off of Rainbow Dash and laid down beside her. Applejack wrapped her arm around Rainbow and pulled her close to her. Rainbow pulled the blanket up and on top of them.

She laid her head down on Applejack. She smiled and snuggled into the blond's side. Rainbow Dash felt a gentle kiss on her forehead. It made her stomach get all fluttery inside.

"Goodnight." She heard Applejack say.

"Goodnight." She replied.

Rainbow felt very content in Applejack's arms. Rainbow Dash and Applejack snuggled together and fell asleep, content in each other's arms.
