Applejack's eyes fluttered open. She groggily looked around the room. She sighed and smiled.

Applejack felt something tickling the back of her neck. A somewhat loud snoring filled the silent room. She turned her head to the right. Applejack smiled when she saw Rainbow Dash laying beside her, sleeping. She had an arm wrapped around Applejack midriff, her head resting on Applejack's chest.

Applejack shifted a little so she was facing Rainbow Dash. She watched the other teen peacefully sleep, calm for once in her life. Rainbow looked so.......fresh. Her hair was a disheveled mess of colors. Drool was staining the hotel pillow. The blanket was half off her legs. Applejack thought she looked beautiful and hilarious like that.

Applejack was tempted to take a picture of her girlfriend, but shook the idea out of her head. Instead, she laid there, enjoying the beautiful sleeping girl in front of her. She wasn't sure how long she laid there in almost silence, but Rainbow eventually began to stir, her big eyes slowly opening. Rainbow used her arm to pushed herself up. She saw Applejack staring at her.

Rainbow smiled.

"Hey, Gorgeous." Was the first thing that came out of her mouth.

Applejack chuckled. "Mornin', sweetness."

Rainbow rubbed her hands, whining.

"What time is it??." She asked

Applejack sat up and looked over at the bedside clock.

"Almost eight in the mornin." She said.

Rainbow groaned and then plopped back down onto her pillow, closing her eyes.

"More sleep." She mumbled, getting comfortable.

Applejack pouted.

"You don't wanna stay up with me??." She said

Rainbow sighed and her eyes opened up again. She looked at the blond teen.

"No."

Rainbow pushed her messy hair back.

"Why're you awake at this time, anyway??. Go to sleep."

"Because it's mornin." Applejack replied. "Now c'mon. It's our last day here."

Rainbow's eyes widened. She quickly sat up, looking at Applejack.

"It's our last day here??."

Applejack nodded. "Yeah. Ah told you this yesterday."

Rainbow pouted. "Awww."

Applejack gave her a look. "Put the pout away."

Rainbow groaned. "But I don't wanna go home. I like it on vacation. We have fun."

"We have at home, too, you know." Applejack said.

Rainbow crossed her arms. "But we don't go zip lining or to the pool or the beach or an awesome chilly hotel with free food."

Applejack sighed, still grinning. "Welp. Too bad, Rainbow. We're going home at 1am tonight."

Rainbow's mouthed dropped.

"Are you kidding me?? No sleep?."

Applejack shook her head. "Sorry, babe. No sleep until we get on the plane."

Rainbow groaned extra loudly. She sat up.

"My mouth feels gross." She complained. "I'm gonna go brush my teeth."

Rainbow sighed and rolled out of bed. Her feet hit the carpet with a soft thud. Applejack sat up and crawled out of bed as well. She followed Rainbow Dash into the bathroom.

They brushed their teeth, washed their face, and brushed out their bedhead. Applejack had snuck a picture of Rainbow Dash and planned to send it to Strike later on.

The two walked out of the bathroom, more awake than before. Rainbow Dash and Applejack climbed back into bed. Rainbow flopped down onto her back. She stretched her body like a cat, not having stretched when she had gotten out of bed. A satisfying pop was heard from one of her joints. Applejack grinned, watching her. Rainbow's shirt rode up, exposing her stomach. Applejack snuck a hand up Rainbow's shirt, lightly brushing her fingers against the skin. Rainbow gasped and recoiled, feeling Applejack touching her. She automatically sat up and grabbed her wrist.

"Stoooop." She whined.

Applejack snickered. "What?? Can ah not touch yir stomach?. Yir skin is so soft."

Rainbow gave her a look.

"Well I have no problem with that. You just took me by surprise, is all."

Rainbow laid back down. She sighed and looked up at Applejack.

She reached her arms out.

"C'mere."

Applejack smiled. She climbed on top of Rainbow Dash, sitting on her waist, straddling her. The blanket was tangled in Rainbow's legs. Applejack was leaning over Rainbow Dash, her hands resting on either side of Rainbow's head, making the soft mattress dip at the weight.

Applejack tilted her head to the side, watching her, her green eyes sparkling.

"Hello there. How can ah help you??." She said

Rainbow grinned up at her, a light blush in her cheeks.

"Hi."

Applejack chuckled. She dipped down, capturing Rainbow's lips in a gentle kiss, eyes closed. Rainbow's cheeks reddened. Applejack pulled away and looked at her. She smirked.

"You okay there, babe??." Applejack asked

Rainbow struggled to find the words to say. Her brain was fuzzy.

"Uh I-I um, that -I....."

Rainbow nodded, covering her face with her hands, embarrassed. Applejack held back laughter. Rainbow was so cute when was flustered. Applejack took Rainbow's hands away from her face.

"There you are." She said quietly

Rainbow looked away, trying to look at anything put the girl on top of her. It was kinda hard when they were so close. Applejack grinned, watching her girlfriend. Rainbow suddenly peeked up at her.

"What??."

Applejack dipped down and placed a sloppy kiss on Rainbow's cheek with loud "muah!."

Rainbow smiled. Applejack peppered ticklish kisses all over Rainbow's face and neck. Their fingers laced together, Applejack somewhat pinning Rainbow down, not that Rainbow was complaining. Rainbow giggled and recoiled when Applejack kissed a sensitive spot on her neck, which Applejack was aware of. Applejack noticed her reaction and smirked. She kissed the spot again, the kiss lingering.

"Applejack." Rainbow whined, her voice quiet. "Stoooop."

Applejack pulled away and moved up so they were eye to eye.

"Better??."

Rainbow didn't say anything. She stared up at Applejack, her voice caught in her throat.

"Uh......."

Applejack chuckled.

"What's the matter, Dash?? Cat got chur tongue??." She teased

Her voice was velvety. Rainbow smiled nervously, which was rare for her. She only ever showed if she was nervous around Applejack alone. Applejack knew how Rainbow was and it made her feel special that only she could make be this way. All it took was for her to simply be in this position.

Applejack slowly tucked a lock of hair behind one of Rainbow's ears. Rainbow's breath hitched as the hair tickled the suddenly sensitive skin. Applejack slowly leaned down. Rainbow's closed her eyes in anticipation. She stopped a sudden gasp as Applejack's lips pressed against her own. She didn't register in her brain that she has started kissing back. Her eyes fluttered shut. The hands that were pinning her down were moving down her body to her hips. Applejack's hands lingered there. They pushed the clothing up to gain access to Rainbow's skin. The sudden skin on skin contact made heat spread throughout Rainbow's body. Her heart picked up speed, which probably had something to do with the sudden heat. She could feel Applejack's heart racing in her chest.

Rainbow couldn't ignore the sparks that were coursing down her spine. She could finally feel herself again and so much more. She moved her again so they were positioned underneath Applejack's ears, her thumbs caressing her freckled cheeks. Her senses were going crazy.

She could taste the minty flavor of the toothpaste in Applejack's warm mouth. Rainbow could feel Applejack's hands against her skin, the touch making her shiver and goosebumps rise on her arms and legs, the small hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Rainbow had never felt so alive and aware of herself.

It made her want more. She needed that feeling. It was addicting. The kiss grew more passionate and heated.

Rainbow ran her fingers through Applejack's thick blond hair. She pulled Applejack's face closer. Applejack tilted her head so she could get closer. She wrapped her arm around Rainbow. Rainbow let out a low moan.

She could feel Applejack's rough yet gentle hands sliding over her skin. It had a way of making her feel like only she mattered to Applejack. It made her feel special, and Applejack tended to make her feel that way a lot. Her lips parted Rainbow's. Her tongue poking her, asking for entrance. Rainbow allowed it and allowed their mouths to mesh together completely.

The kiss lasted for what seemed like eternity to Rainbow Dash, and she had lost all track of time, nor did she care. The two of them were in their own little perfect world. Just the two of them.

Of course, oxygen was still needed. Applejack was the one to break the kiss. She pulled away, panting. Rainbow glanced up at her, panting as well, catching her breath. The two looked each other in the eyes, lost in each other's gaze. Both of their faces were red. Rainbow suddenly giggled, her hands returning underneath her ears. Her thumbs slowly rubbed Applejack's cheeks.

Applejack smiled, chuckling.

"Ah don't think ah'll ever not wanna kiss you." She said. "Can hardly keep mah hand off o' ya."

Applejack laid her body down on top of Rainbow's. She snaked her arms up and around Rainbow, her hands on her shoulder blades.

They laid there, looking into each other's eyes. The only sound was the air conditioner beside the bed and their breathing.

Rainbow suddenly began to laugh quietly. Her rose hued eyes squeezed shut, as laughter shook her slender yet athletic body.

Applejack smirked at the other girl's joy.

"What's so funny??." She asked

Rainbow shook her head and continued to laugh. Her eyes glossed over with tears. Rainbow looked up at Applejack, smiling. She blinked and a tear escaped from the corner of her left eye. The tear slid down the side of the face.

Applejack frowned, worried something was wrong.

"Are you alright, Sugarcube?."

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. I'm just really happy to be with you. I'm the luckiest girl in the world for you to be my girlfriend."

Applejack smiled. She shook her head.

"Nah. Ah'm the lucky one."

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Okay. Sure, Ms.Perfect."

Applejack gave her a look.

"Ah am not perfect, Rainbow. No one is."

"Then why are you so perfect to me??." Rainbow asked

Applejack blushed at the compliment. She cleared her throat and spoke.

"That just means you love me. Love changes the way you look at people."

Rainbow smiled. "But still. You're perfect to me and I'm grateful that you're in my life and you make me happy and you're awesome and I love you."

Applejack leaned up and kissed her forehead.

"Ah love you too." She said

"Can we do this more often?? The kissing stuff??." Rainbow asked

Applejack smiled. "Of course, baby. Ah like doin' this too. Ah get to be closer to ya and you actually stay still long enough."

Rainbow laughed.

Suddenly there was a knock at the door. It broke the bubble that was surrounding the girls and brought them back to the real world. They looked at the door then at each other.

Applejack sighed.

"Great." She mumbled.

Rainbow groaned.

"Who is that??." She said. "Tell them we're busy and to go away."

Applejack rolled her eyes. "No, babe. We're not tellin' anyone ta buzz off."

Rainbow threw a small tantrum and whined.

"But now we gotta stop kissing." She said.

Applejack smiled. "How about this," she said. "When we get back to the hotel later, we can continue this."

There was another knock on the door.

Rainbow sighed. "Fine. Whatever. Who's at the door??."

Applejack giggled. She pecked Rainbow on the lips one last time.

"You're too much." She said before getting off of her.

Rainbow sat up, watching Applejack walk away. She couldn't help the blush that rushed to her cheeks and the tips of her ears. She smiled, still feeling the effects of the kiss.

She sighed dreamily. She flopped back down on the bed. She heard Applejack giggle, making her raise her head. She saw Applejack looking at her, a hand in her hip and a smirk on her face.

"What's the matter??." Applejack asked.

Rainbow flopped back down, pulling the blanket over her head, circling up in a ball.

"Leave me alone!." She shouted.

Applejack turned and walked away, laughing and shaking her head. That never got old.

So yeah. This was kinda long. So tell me what you think and how I did with the kissing scene. I'm working on improving my writing and I realized I really enjoy writing kissing scenes with these two :) so comment below!
