My first one shot of this book :) enjoy!!

"Rainboooow."

Applejack gently shook Rainbow, pressing kisses to her cheek.

"Wake up, Rainbow. Ah gotta surprise fir ya."

Rainbow only groaned, finally rousing from her deep sleep. Applejack thought it was a miracle. It had taken ten minutes to get any reaction from Rainbow Dash on any morning. Today was a good morning. Usually Rainbow made a sound but then rolled over and went back to sleep.

"Cmon." Applejack whispered. "Wake up. Look where we are."

Rainbow Dash exhaled loudly. She finally lifted her head off the fluffy pillow. Applejack watched Rainbow rub her tired eyes, a quiet whine coming from her. Rainbow finally blinked her eyes open and looked at her.

"What??."

Applejack smiled.

"Good morning, sleepy head." She said. Her voice was quiet. "Guess where we are."

Rainbow looked around. She quickly sat up, looking around, confused and almost a little frightened at not recognizing her surroundings.

"Where are we??."

She gasped, looking at Applejack. A huge smile spread across her face.

"We're here!!."

Applejack laughed and nodded her head.

"Yeah. We are."

Rainbow jumped out of bed. She looked around, her face practically lighting up in excitement.

She began to freak out and jump on her spot, a huge smile on her face. Applejack watched in amusement.

"Don't hurt churself." She said.

Rainbow let out a very rare squeal. She went up to Applejack.

"What do we do now??." She asked.

"First."

Applejack tapped Rainbow's nose.

"You need to go brush your teeth and take a shower. Then we're gonna go eat breakfast. Ah already put your toothbrush in the bathroom."

Rainbow Dash kissed her cheek.

"You're the best."

Applejack smiled. "Ah know. Now go."

Rainbow huffed. "You don't love me."

Applejack rolled her eyes. "Yes, ah do. Now start makin' sense and go."

Rainbow stuck her tongue out at her before she walked away. She walked into the bathroom and closed the door.

A few seconds later....

"OH MY GOD!! THIS IS AWESOME!!."

Applejack chuckled, shaking her head. She picked up the remote control and plopped down on the bed.

"Gotta love her."

Rainbow patted her stomach. She let out a loud burp which earned her a look from Applejack.

"Excuse me." Rainbow said.

Rainbow sighed in content. She lazily looked over at Applejack.

"I'm ready for a nap." She said.

Applejack smiled at her.

"You're always ready fir a nap."

Rainbow snapped her fingers and pointed at her, looking at Strike.

"See?? She gets me."

Strike rolled his eyes.

"Honestly, Rainbow?? No one gets you and no one ever will."

Rainbow ignored the comment. She groaned and rubbed her stomach.

"I feel ready to pop. Is this what being pregnant feels like?."

"How should we know?." Jackson asked.

Rainbow shrugged. "It could happen. I mean if you and Uncle Strike got together, I could see Strike getting pregnant."

Rainbow laid her head back, closing her eyes. She didn't see Strike, Jackson, and Applejack looking at her with wide eyes.

"No, Rainbow." Applejack said, starting to laugh. "Ah don't think that would happen. Ya can't say things like that."

Rainbow shrugged. "Why not?."

"Because." Applejack said. "You just can't."

Rainbow sat up, crossing her arms. "You tell me I can't say a lot of things."

"Rainbow." Applejack said with a straight face. "One time you said, in a room full of people, that you were a gang member and that you could blow get explosives if you wanted to."

"How was I supposed to know-."

"And then there was that time you said to Applejack that birds could be secret terrorists." Strike added.

Rainbow pouted. "I was tired."

"And then I remember when you called yourself Hitler's granddaughter in front of a group of Jewish people." Applejack recalled.

Strike's mouth fell open. He looked at Rainbow who gave him a wide smile that said "Whoops. My bad."

"Rainbow!!." Strike barked.

Rainbow shrunk back. "I'm sorry. I wasn't thinking at the time."

Strike smiled. "You never think, Rain. You just do"

"Well," Applejack said. "Let's stop crackin' on Rainbow Dash n' let the poor girl live her life."

Rainbow smiled thankfully at her.

"So what do y'all wanna do??." Jackson asked. "Go explore the place??."

"Yeah!." Rainbow exclaimed, sitting up right in her chair, nodding her head.

"Sure." Applejack said. "It's better than lettin' Rainbow Dash sleep the day away."

Rainbow glared at her.

Applejack caught her stare. She smiled brightly.

"Love you."

"Alright." Jackson said. "Let's go."

They cleaned up their plates and left the breakfast area. The four walked around the grounds to see what they could find. They walked back into the hotel. They came to the bar area where there was a stage area and areas to sit down. No one was there.

"I'm guessing this is used at night." Strike commented, looking around.

Rainbow looked up.

"This is kinda outside." She said.

They all looked up to see the roof was open to see the baby blue morning sky.

"Cool." Rainbow said, grinning. "We have to come here later."

"Maybe." Strike replied.

They headed out to a walk way that led to another open aired building. Suddenly Rainbow gasped. She pointed at something.

"Look." She said to Applejack

Applejack looked at what she was pointing. A peacock. The girls looked at each other.

"Why do they have those here??." Rainbow asked.

"Ah have no idea." Applejack replied. "Don't touch it."

"Why would I??." Rainbow said. "It probably has rabies."

Applejack smirked. "Then y'all have somethin' in common."

Rainbow glared at her.

"Okay. I'm getting real sick of your shit."

Applejack nudged her.

"You wanna fight??."

"I will." Rainbow swore.

Applejack snickered. "And you'll lose."

Rainbow crossed her arms and looked away.

"I hate you." She grumbled.

Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's waist. Rainbow growled under her breath.

"See??." Applejack said to her dad. "She's growlin' at me. She's got rabies."

"Shut up." Rainbow snapped.

"Girls." Strike said. "Stop arguing and love each other. Applejack. Apologize."

Applejack looked at Rainbow.

"Rainbow, I'm sorry fir botherin' ya."

Rainbow looked at her. She stared at Applejack for a moment. She sighed.

"Okay. I forgive your mean ass."

"Good." Strike said. "Now hug or kiss or whatever. Just make up. Then we can go back to the hotel and we can all take a nap."

Rainbow groaned. "So much work."

"It's really not." Applejack said.

"I know." Rainbow whined. "But it's such a long way back."

"Want me ta carry ya like the baby you are??."

Rainbow crossed her arms and pouted.

"Kinda." She mumbled.

Applejack grinned. She kissed her on the cheek.

"Okay."

The four made their way back to their rooms. It was a long walk. They walked along stone paths. They passed by many other people, who were either on their way to a pool or beach, or some other place. A cart even passed by with people on it.

The girls took in all the tropical sights. Trees, birds, a ton of peacocks. Seriously. What resort has peacocks walking around at free will??

Once they reached their rooms, they said good night and went right to to bed. They both put the do not disturb door thing.

Rainbow and Applejack got into bed. Rainbow took off her shirt. She tossed it away and laid down on her stomach. Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Why'd you just do that??."

Rainbow shrugged. "Sometimes I sleep without a shirt on."

Applejack laid down beside her girlfriend. She boredly began to draw and write on Rainbow's skin.

Rainbow whined.

"That tickles."

Applejack smiled.

"Does it now??"

Rainbow nodded. Applejack smirked. She continued to write on Rainbow's skin. Goosebumps rose up.

"You suck." Rainbow said. "I feel uncomfortable with you touching me like this."

"Calm down." Applejack said. "You're makin' it sound like ah'm molesting you."

"I feel bad for molesters and rapists."

Applejack looked at her like she was crazy.

"And why is that??."

"Because." Rainbow said. "They can't get laid so they have to force someone to endure their horrible attempt to be good in the sack. They literally can't get anyone so they have to force someone. All they want is someone to have sex with, but they have such a shitty personality or they're so ugly, they get rejected so much and they're so horny, they can't control themselves."

Applejack nodded slowly.

"Ahuh. Orrrrrr they're just fucked up in the head like you are for saying such a thing and they just do crazy, inhumane things ta poor innocent people."

Rainbow shrugged.

Applejack laughed. "Ah can't stand you."

"You love me." Rainbow said with a wink.

Applejack lightly pushed her away.

"Got a sleep, crazy."

Rainbow giggled. "Can I get a good night kiss??."

Applejack leaned over and planted a kiss on Rainbow's lips. She smiled.

"Happy??." She asked, tucking hair behind Rainbow's ear.

Rainbow nodded. "Yup. Very."

Applejack laid down and looked at her. Rainbow kissed her on the nose. She yawned suddenly, covering her mouth with her hand.

"Welp. Time for that nap. Don't wake me up."

She turned around, pulling the blanket up. Applejack wrapped an arm around Rainbow's waist, scooting close behind her. She spooned Rainbow Dash, her chest pressed against Rainbow's back.

"Ah love you." She whispered.

"I love you, too, AJ." Rainbow mumbled. "Shhhhh."

Applejack giggled quietly. She closed her eyes, enjoying the feeling of being this close to her girlfriend.

She was such a pain in the butt, but she was her pain in the butt and she wouldn't have it any other way.
