"Applejack!!".

Applejack rushed down the stairs. She knew to hurry when called. The blonde woman jogged into the living room.

"Yes??".

Rainbow was sitting on the couch. She saw Applejack and smiled.

"Applejack. C'mere. I miss you".

Applejack smiled. She walked over to her wife. That's right, I said it. Wife. Rainbow Dash and Applejack have been married for 2 years. They decided to have a baby. It wa complicated. But let's not get into detail with that. Rainbow was only 2 months pregnant so she had only a baby bump.

Applejack walked over to the other woman. Rainbow stood up. She 2 wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck.

"I'm gunna miss hugging you".

Applejack chuckled. Rainbow pouted.

"I'm gunna get all fat and round and ew".

Even as a 26 year old, Rainbow still managed to look like a teenage girl. She had grown only a few inches, much to her dislike. Applejack was still way taller than her. But she didn't mind anymore.

Applejack smiled kindly at her.

"Nah. You'll look beautiful. And ah can't wait till our little girl gets here".

Rainbow smiled. She looked down at her small bump, placing a hand on it.

"What do you think she'll look like??", she asked.

Applejack sighed. "She'll probably look like me but act like you. A baby".

Rainbow looked up at her, sticking her tongue out.

"Jealous".

Applejack laughed. "Of what??".

Rainbow shrugged. "Not sure yet. Let me figure out a comeback".

Applejack shook her head and laughed.

"Yir too much".

Rainbow smiled. She looked up at Applejack.

"I'm hungry", she said.

"But we just had dinner", Applejack said. "Like....... half an hour ago".

Rainbow groaned. "Nooo the cravings are starting".

She let out an mock sob. The woman stood there "crying".

"I'm horrible. You're gunna be so stressed because of me".

Applejack smiled. She wrapped her arms around Rainbow's waist.

"Ah'll be okay babe. Really".

Rainbow pouted sadly. She felt bad. "I Just feel bad for you. I'll get angry and upset at you for no reason and you'll have to suffer through it. I don't like that".

"Rainbow".

Rainbow sighed. Applejack frowned.
Rainbow Dash really felt guilty. Applejack bit her bottom lip.

"Rainbow??. Look at me".

Rainbow raised her head up to look at her. She crossed her arms. Applejack smiled.

"Ah don't mind it. So what if ya have cravins and mood swings??. Ah'll still love you. Ah know that know matter how angry or irritated or sore or upset ya are at me fir no reason, ah know you'll still love me. Ah know that no matter what you say ta me in the future, you don't mean. You won't mean it".

Rainbow sighed. Applejack kissed her lips. Rainbow's eyes widened. She kissed back.

Puimg away, she smiled.

"Okay".

Applejack smiled back. "Good. Ah love you".

Rainbow giggled. "Love you too".

The two woman sat down on the couch. Rainbow curled up against Applejack, smiling.

"Hey", Applejack said. "Guess what".

Rainbow looked at her. "What??".

Applejack smiled. "Ah was looking at a picture of yir mom when you were a baby. You look just like her".

Rainbow stared at her for a second. She went quiet.

"I do??".

Applejack nodded. "Yeah".

Rainbow didn't say anything for a moment. She looked like she was thinking. Applejack watched her.

Finally Rainbow said, "Oh......... that's........ cool".

"Cool??. That's it??".

Rainbow shrugged. She got up. Applejack watched her walk over to a mirror on the wall.

Rainbow Dash looked at herself. She stared into the mirror, lookimg her face. She did. Just like her mother.

"You think she'd be happy with how I turned out??", Rainbow asked self consciously.

Applejack smiled. She got up and walked over to the other woman. Applejack wrapped her arms around Rainbow's middle and looked at he was reflection in the mirror. "You know ah do".

Rainbow sighed. "You think we'll be okay to raise a kid??. I'm not so sure anymore".

Applejack frowned. "Baby".

Rainbow was turned around. She looked up at Applejack. The blonde woman looked at her wife.

"We're gunna be fine. Don't worry".

Rainbow sighed. "I can't help it. You know about my childhood. I just don't want this kid to suffer how I did".

Applejack rabbed her arm comfortingly.

"They won't Rainbow. They'll grow up loved an cared fir. You know that".

Rainbow nodded.

"Okay".

Applejack pulled her in for a hug. Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's chest. She sighed and pulled away. Rainbow looked at Applejack for a moment.

"I can't believe you're still taller than me".

Applejack laughed.

Applejack sighed. This was nice. A glass of cider in hand, the smell of fall in the air. Nothing could disturb this.

Well....... almost.

"Ahhhh!!".

Applejack jumped. She turned and quickly ran inside.

"Rainbow??!!", she called.

Rainbow came into the room. The woman looked panicked.

"My water just broke!!".

Applejack's eyes widened. She hurried over Rainbow Dash. She took her hand.

"Ah have a bag in the car already fir such an emergency, so let's go".

Applejack and Rainbow Dash had their shoes on already. They quickly put on zip up jackets and we're out.

Applejack coulda swore the speed limit sign said 35 mph. But screw the speed limit. Her wife was in labor. Rainbow sat in the passenger seat, panting and struggling to breathe.

"Oh god this hurts!!".

Applejack glanced at her.

"Ah know Rainbow. Trust me. We're literally a block away. Applejack could see the hospital coming up. She kept her eyes on the rode, alert for anything.

She sped in front of the emergency entrance. Parking she got out. Applejack ran to the other side, opening the door. She helped Rainbow out. The two made their way into the hospital.

"Hey", she shouted. "We need some help. She's in labor!!".

Immediately nurses and doctors were at their aid. They whisked Rainbow away, Applejack not far behind. In fact, the blonde was right beside hem, holding Rainbow's hand.

Rainbow had a vice like grip. She almost broke her hand. Rainbow glared at Applejack.

"I swear to Celestia. I'm gunna kill you!!".

Applejack kept her cool. Rainbow didn't mean it. She knew that. It was an empty threat from the pain.

"Ah wish labor wasn't so painful", Applejack grumbled. "But whoopty doo. It is".

"Shut up fucktard!!", Rainbow shouted. "I'm dying and you're being stupid!!".

Applejack gulped. She was so glad this would be over in a few hours.

Applejack paced the floor. Rainbow had to have c-section. The woman bit her finger nails down to nub.

"Applejack".

She looked up. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity and Fluttershy all stood there. Applejack smiled. She was nearly tackled by Pinkie. The woman was as bouncy and giddy as always.

Applejack's dad was there too.

"Is Dashie okay??", Pinkie asked worriedly.

Applejack sighed. "Ah don't know".

Jackson smiled. "Well. You're gunna be a mom soon".

Applejack smiled. "Yeah. Ah am".

Jackson walked up to his daughter and hugged her.

"I'm so proud of you", he said. "You're gunna be a great mom".

Applejack smiled. "Thanks Dad".

The group talked and laughed amongst themselves. Suddenly the door opened. A doctor came out.

"Mrs.Dash??".

Applejack nodded. She stepped up. The doctor smiled.

"Come in".

Applejack smiled. She was so small. The tiny baby was asleep. Applejack had been right. She looked like Applejack. Applejack couldn't hold back the tears of joy as she looked at her daughter.

"She's beautiful".

Applejack felt a hand in her shoulder. She turned her head and saw her dad standing there. The man smiled.

"Yir granddaughter", Applejack giggled.

Jackson nodded, looking at the small baby.

"She's 2 pounds and 9 ounces", he said quietly.

That was small for a baby. She probably got that from Rainbow Dash. That woman was tiny. Applejack looked at the girls. They all crowded around to see the baby girl.

"She's so cute", Twilight said.

"Yeah. She looks just like you", Rarity said. "Not surprising. She'll probably be just as loud as Rainbow Dash".

The girls laughed. Applejack suddenly heard shifting. Looking up, she saw Rainbow waking up. The woman blinked her eyes. She looked around.

Everyone looked at the young woman. Rainbow looked at them. She giggled.

"I just had the craziest dream", she said a bit disoriented. "I dreamt that I was pregnant and that I was in labor".

Applejack smiled. Rainbow stared at her for a second. She gasped. She looked around the room, with wide eyes. Then she looked back at Applejack.

"Are you holding........ Is that our...... Did I.......".

Rainbow sat up more with each unfinished question. She looked at Applejack. Applejack smiled. She walked over to her and sat on the bed. Rainbow gasped. Tears rose up in her eyes.

"This is our daughter".

Rainbow smiled. She was handed the baby. Rainbow sat back, Applejack standing beside her. She looked down at the baby.

"She's beautiful".

Rainbow sniffled. She looked at Applejack. The blonde kissed her head, rubbing her back.

"She looks like you".

Applejack laughed. "Yeah. Ah know. She's gunna end up bein loud and obnoxious like you".

Rainbow smiled. She looked back at the baby then back up at her friends. Rainbow suddenly spotted Jackson.

"Hey Jackson", she said.

Jackson walked over to her and sat on the bed.

"Hey. How you feel??".

Rainbow sighed. "Tired. Really tired. I was trying to give birth but there was something wrong so they had to have a c-section on me".

Jackson smiled. "Just know that ah'm so proud of you. Ah love you".

Rainbow looked at the middle aged man. She smiled. Rainbow had grown to love him like a daughter. Jackson had taken the spot in her heart her father refused to.

Jackson was her father.

"Thank you. That means alot".

Jackson leaned in and kissed her forehead. He stood up. Rainbow smiled.

Applejack looked at her worriedly.

"How do you feel??. You okay??".

Rainbow nodded. "I'm fine. I'm happy that's over".

Rainbow sighed. She looked down at the baby girl. She had a sad look on her face. Applejack noticed. She knelt down, looking up at her.

"What's wrong??".

Rainbow shrugged. "I just wish....... I just wish my mom was here to see this".

Applejack felt her heart break. This was one of the most important moments in Rainbow's life other than her wedding day and Rainbow didn't have her mother here to be with.

Applejack wrapped an arm around her and kissed her forhead.

"If she were here", she said. "She'd be proud of you. Ah know it".

"Now", Jackson said. "All you need is ta name her".

Rainbow looked at him then Applejack.

"I'm not sure. What should we name here??. There's alot of names to choose from".

Applejack smiled. "Actually. Ah've been thinkin about a name fir quite a long time now".

Rainbow looked at her curiously.

"What??".

Applejack smiled. "Eden".

Rainbow's eyes widened. She stared at Applejack.

"Are you serious??".

Applejack nodded. "Yeah. Let's name our daughter after yir mother".

Rainbow couldn't help the smile that spread across her face.

"Okay. You're amazing".

Applejack smiled. "No. You are".

Rainbow looked back at the baby in her arms.

"Eden Smith Dash".

Rainbow laughed, tears of joy in her eyes. "Okay. That sounds good".

Suddenly the baby began to stir. The baby girl shifted and moved around. Her little eyes blinked open. Applejack gasped.

Magenta colored eyes looked at her.

"Wow".

Rainbow smiled. "She has my eyes".

Applejack looked at her wife.

"Yeah, she does. She has the best part of ya, other than yir big heart".

Rainbow giggled. Applejack wiped her tears away.

"Yeah".

The baby looked at the two women.

"Hey there", Rainbow cooed quietly.
"I'm Mommy and this is mama".

Applejack smiled. "Hey there sugarcube. We love you so much".

"We're gunna love you", Rainbow said. "And be there for you no matter what. We'll be the family I never had. You're my new beggining. I'll show my dad that I'll raise you great. I promise to always love and support you. I promise to be the opposite of him".

Applejack smiled as Rainbow Dash talked. She looked around the room at her friends and father. Everyone smiled a the couple. Applejack then turned and looked at the two most beautiful girls in her life. She was so lucky.
