"Do I have to??".

Applejack rolled her eyes. She placed a hand on her hip.

"Yes. We're going to the mall with the girls. Ah don't want cha alone".

Rainbow sighed. "Fine. I'll get my shoes".

"Okay".

Rarity looked around the mall with a big smile on her face. She was in her element. This is where she was meant to be at all times. In the mall.

Rarity looked at the girls.

"Now. Last time we bought clothes for Fluttershy. Now today's speacial someone will be...".

Rainbow mentally groaned. Ha. More today's prisoner of the day.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow's eyes widened in horror. She looked around at the girls then at Rarity who was smiling just a bit too widely. Uh oh.

"NO!".

Rarity grunted. "Oh come on Rainbow Dash. Let go!"

Rainbow held on tighter. The pole she had wrapped herself around was her lifeline right now. The teen held on for dear life. The girls were trying to pry her off.

"Rainbow", Applejack said. C'mon. People are starin".

She was trying to pry Rainbow's arms off the pole. Rainbow wouldn't budge.

"But I don't wanna do clothes shopping!!", Rainbow yelled. "That's so boring".

Rarity pulled her by her waist. The fashionista was not giving up.

"You're coming with us and that's final!!".

Rainbow shook her head. "No!!".

"Yes!!".

Applejack sighed, giving up.

"Girls. Give it a rest. We've been doin this fir over half an hour. Let's just go home".

The girls sighed, giving up as well.

"Fine", Rarity grumbled. "But we'll come back next week".

Rainbow beamed and let go of the pole.

"Yay!!. Home!!", she cheered.

Applejack scooped her up and threw her over her shoulder. Rainbow was in shock.

"Yay!!".

The girls turned and walked into the mall. Rainbow whined and "cried".

"I don't wanna go!!".

Applejack chuckled. "Sometimes, it's just too easy".

Rainbow whined like a puppy, pouting. Applejack had to look away. If she look at the face, she'd let Rainbow have her way. As usual. But today was Rarity's way. Even if Rainbow was mad at them.

After a few minutes of whining Rainbow growled.

"I hate you all!!".

Applejack smiled. "Uh huh. Okay".

Rainbow crossed her arms. She saw a few other teens watching the scene.

"WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT??!!. DON'T YOU KNOW THAT STARING IS RUDE??".

The teens jumped and walked away quickly. Applejack sighed.

"Rainbow. No".

Rainbow shrugged. "They were staring".

Applejack looked at Rarity.

"Are you sure we have ta do this??. Ya didn't say anythin' bout takin care of a child".

Rarity nodded. "Of coarse. We're shopping for Rainbow Dash because her wardrobe is horrendous".

"I like my clothes!!", Rainbow shot back. "You are you to tell me what I can and can't wear!!".

Applejack sighed and rubbed her back. Rainbow was actually getting pissed at the whole situation.

"And who in the name of anything created the word mall. Why couldn't it have been called something else??. Like the big store of everything. Who came up with the name??. It's a stupid name. And who invented heels. Those things are death traps and or murder devices".

Applejack laughed. "Devices. Wow. That's are big word fir ya ta say. Ah'm surprised you can say is correctly".

Rainbow shot a glare at Applejack, even though she couldn't see it.

"I hate you".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "And another thing. Hand purses. Who's brillent idea was it to create an item that can be lost easily??. What if your tired of holding it??. Oh I'll just put it in my purse- nope!!. That is your purse. Too bad!!".

The girls groaned.

"Shut up".

"And then there's cheap perfume. Hold the phone!!. Why would anyone put on a perfume that doesn't smell nice. Trust me. My sister put some on once and I swear I thought I saw my life flashing before my eyes".

Rainbow shivered at the thought.

"I don't ever want to smell that again. I get nightmares about that".

Applejack raised an eyebrow. "About cheap perfume??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yup".

Applejack chuckled. "Only you would".

Rainbow kept rambling on and on about stuff. The girls went into the first store. Macy's. Rainbow was put down. The girls held her by her arms.

They led her through the store, to the clothes section.

Rarity began to dig through all the racks. She took out a few articles of clothing. She held it up each one to Rainbow, checking them out.

"Hmm".

Rainbow stood there staring blankly ahead.

Rarity chose a few clothes for her to try on.

"C'mon Rainbow".

The girls had to push and pull Rainbow across the store to the dressing rooms. Rainbow put up quite a fight but they managed to do it.

Ugh fine!!. Give me the damn clothes!!".

Rarity smiled. She pulled Rainbow into the dressing room. The other girls waited outside. A few minutes later, the door opened.

Applejack looked at her. She smiled. Rainbow was wearing a Navy blue skirt and a white button up shirt.

"I hate this outfit", Rainbow grumbled. "I want pants and shorts".

Applejack smirked. "Ah think you look great babe. All you need is ponytail and a bookbag and ah'll send ya to yir first day of school".

Rainbow glared angrily at her. She shut the door. Applejack chuckled.

"She's pissed", she whispered.

The others nodded. "Oh yeah".

Rainbow tried on like 10 different outfits. Then Rarity started to do combinations. Rainbow was not happy. Every time she opened the door she was pissed off and looked ready to murder the purple haired teen.

"A few more left", Rarity said.

"We've been at this fir two hours Rare", Applejack said. "Can't we just give it a rest??".

Rarity crossed her arms. "Come on girls", she said. "Where's your shopping spirit??".

"It's okay guys", Rainbow said. "Let's just get this over with".

Her stomach growled. She walked into the dressing room, Rarity behind her. Applejack was staring to question this whole clothes shopping thing.

Another hour or two passed. They had gone to two other clothes store. Rainbow did out after outfit. Jeans, shirts, skirts, ties, jackets, shorts, scarves, hats.

Rainbow stepped out of the dressing room. She sighed and crossed her arms.

"What do you guys think??", Rarity asked.

"It looks nice", Applejack said, looking Rainbow up and down.

Now she understood why Rainbow didn't like shopping. It was boring. Looking at the other girls, Applejack could tell they were itching to get out of there. Pinkie held a pretzel in her hand. Rarity hadn't allowed Rainbow to go anywhere. The others were free to do whatever.

Rainbow picked a few outfits she liked. Though she only said that to make the process go faster. She was slowly being driven insane.

Applejack could only imagine what Rainbow was feeling. Looking at said girl, Applejack thought she looked like a zombie. Rainbow just stared ahead, not really looking at anything. She looked pissed at the same time. The poor girl was being tortured. Suddenly she sniffled. Rainbow blinked rapidly, turning away. She was so angry and frustrated, she was crying.

Applejack stood up. That is enough.

"Rarity".

Rarity looked up at Applejack.

"Ah think that's enough. Let's her eat. The poor gal hasn't eaten a single thing taday. We've been here fir hours. That's torture".

"We only have a few more outfits to try on".

Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. The teen looked ready to snap any second. She had to do something. Rainbow hadn't smiled all day since they got there and that drove Applejack insane.

Suddenly she had an idea.

"Twilight. Come with me".

Applejack grabbed Twilight and pulled her along. She gave Rainbow a kiss on the cheek.

"Ah'll be right back".

Rainbow mouthed the words help me. Applejack nodded. "Ah will. Hold on".

Applejack and Twilight turned and walked away. Rainbow sighed.

"How do you look this one??", Rarity asked.

Rainbow looked herself in the mirror. She sighed.

"I look stupid. I hate it".

Blunt and honest.

"Hey Rainbow".

Rainbow turned her head. Her eyes widened. Applejack stood there in completely different clothes.

Rainbow walked over to her.

"Why did you change your clothes??".

Applejack smiled. "Ah'm tryin on clothes with ya".

Rainbow smiled. "You are??".

Applejack nodded. "Yup. Let's do this".

Rainbow beamed. She hugged the taller girl.

"You're the best".

Applejack chuckled. "When we're done, ah have a surprise fir ya".

Rainbow smiled. She looked at Applejack's outfit. Shorts and a red flannel shirt.

"I like your style", she said. "Let's see if you can try this".

Rainbow zipped into the dressing room. She came out in a few seconds. Applejack's mouth fell open. That was fast.

Rainbow had on light blue jeans, a wonderbolts shirt and her sneakers.

"Rock out outfit".

Rainbow took her phone out. She put on a song from The Wonderbolts and started to rock out to it. Applejack laughed. She went into the dressing room and came out with a similar outfit. She had on her signature stetson hat. She tipped her hat.

"Howdy miss rockstar".

Rainbow giggled. She went in and back out. She had on black dress pants and white dress shirt. Her hair was in a ponytail.

"Black and white isn't my thing", she said. "I have rainbow colored hair after all".

Rainbow walked back in to the dressing room. The two did that until the last of the pile was gone. Rainbow cheered.

"Yay!!. We're done!!".

Applejack smiled. "Yup. Now. Let's go pay fir the clothes".

Rainbow groaned. She leaned against the wall, sliding down to a sitting. She put her head against the wall, eyes closed. Applejack frowned.

"What's wrong??", she asked kneeling down.

Rainbow moaned, shaking her head.

"I'm dizzy".

Applejack looked at the girls.

"Ah'm gunna take her ta eat. You girls pay fir the clothes".

Applejack picked Rainbow up. She carried her out of the store. The two made their way to the food court. She got Rainbow two slices of pizza and a smoothie.

They were gone in minutes. Rainbow then just sat in Applejack's lap, laying her head on Applejack's shoulder. She sipped on her smoothie, closing her eyes. Applejack rubbed her back.

Applejack felt bad. They forced Rainbow to do something she absolutely hated doing and then basically starved her. Though it was mostly Rarity's fault, she held part of the blame.

She knew Rainbow was angry though she didn't show it. The only reason Rainbow was allowing Applejack to touch her was because it brought comfort to her pounding headache.

"Done".

Applejack looked up. She saw the girls walking over to them. The girls looked worried. Twilight knelt down beside Applejack, looking at Rainbow Dash.

"How you feeling??".

Rainbow put a finger to her lips.

"Don't talk to me".

Twilight looked at Applejack for an explanation.

"She's mad at us", Applejack whispered.

Applejack bit her lip. She had to do something. She didn't want Rainbow to be stay mad at them the whole day. Then she'd go to sleep mad. It's a terrible idea to go to sleep mad.

"Rainbow", she said quietly. "Ah wanna take ya to a store ah think yir gunna like".

Rainbow looked at her. She sighed. "Fine".

She drank her smoothie as they walked. They came to a store. Rainbow's eyes widened as they came to the entrance.

"Oh....... my........ gosh".

Rainbow almost dropped her smoothie when Pinkie caught it midair. The girls watched Rainbow's mouth twitch into a smile. She looked at Applejack.

"Oh my gosh. Is this real??".

Applejack nodded, smiling at the younger teen.

"Yup. It is".

Rainbow looked around. A library and a comic book store. Rainbow walked in. It was huge. Book shelves stretching across the walls. There were comic books displayed on tables.

It was beautiful. Rainbow couldn't help but stare.

"Woah".

Rainbow slowly walked through the entrance. She looked around excitedly.

"Ya like??".

Rainbow turned around. Applejack smiled at her. Rainbow nodded.

"Yeah. This is amazing!!".

Rainbow hugged her, tightly.

"This is a dream come true".

Applejack smiled. "Ah'm glad you like it".

She pulled away, looking at the teen.

"Now", she said. "Have fun".

Rainbow giggled. She grabbed Applejack's hand and pulled her in. A lady came to greet them. She showed the girls around the store. Finally she let them wander free.

Rainbow went crazy. She filed through book each book shelf. Rainbow's smile didn't leave her face as filed through each magazine and read the back of every book. She was in the adventure section. She was living a dream come true.

Applejack loved to see her so happy. The teen was now plopped on a beanbag chair, surrounded by adventure stories, super hero comic books, and Daring Do books.

Applejack crossed her arms and smiled. Rainbow looked up at her. She made grabby hands at Applejack.

"Applejack. C'mere. You won't believe it".

Applejack walked over to her. She sat down beside Rainbow.

"You won't believe what happened in this book", Rainbow said. "It's about a princess and she goes off to save her friends from an evil sorcerer".

Applejack pretended to look surprised. She had read the book already but she liked it when Rainbow was excited about books. She was like a little kid.

"Oh. Sounds like a great book".

Rainbow nodded. "Can I read it to you??".

Applejack smiled. "Sure".

Rainbow opened to the first page.

"Once upon a time.....".

Applejack smiled. The girls walked out of the mall.

"Man. She's tuckered out", Applejack said quietly.

She carried a sleeping Rainbow Dash in her arms. The girl had nodded off while reading. She claimed "it'll only be 5 minutes" but that turned into half an hour. So the girls left. It was almost nighttime anyay.

"You think she liked the new store??", Fluttershy asked.

Applejack chuckled. "Oh she loved it".

Suddenly Rainbow shifted. Her eyes opened.

"What??. Where??".

Applejack smiled. "Welcome back to the livin".

Rainbow smiled. "I just had anyay great dream. I was it the store of my dreams. There were books and comic books everywhere".

The girls giggled. "It wasn't a dream Rainbow", Twilight said. "Here. We bought you this book".

Rainbow was handed the book she had been reading before she dozed off. Rainbow smiled.

"You guys are the best".

"And Rarity promises not ta force ya ta go clothes shoppin anymore".

"Of coarse", Rarity agreed. "I'm terribly sorry for making you that upset. I won't do it again".

Rainbow smiled. "I forgive ya Rare", she said. "I always will. Now you know how much I hate clothes shopping. But can we come back soon??".

Applejack smiled. "To the mall??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. I love that store".

Applejack kissed her cheek. "Coarse we can".

Rainbow smiled as she flipped the page. This book was so good.

"Hey you".

Rainbow looked up. She saw Applejack walking into the room. Rainbow smiled.

"Hi".

Applejack laid on the bed beside her.
Rainbow put the book down and looked back at her.

"So. You're not still mad at us??", Applejack asked.

Rainbow shrugged. "I completely forgot about that when we went to the store. Just a little but not as much".

"We're sorry we made ya go".

Applejack kissed her forehead.

"Ah'm sorry fir makin you go through all that. Rarity went overboard an ah didn't stop her. Ah'm sorry".

Rainbow smiled. "I forgive you. I really do".

She smiled. "Plus, I can't stay mad at you. You got me a book. You brung me to a book store. The best store ever. It was awesome. So yup. I forgive you".

Applejack smiled. "Thank goodness. Ah didn't want cha ta stay mad at me fir long".

Rainbow giggled. "I can't do that. Who will buy me books or give me food??".

Applejack laughed. "Ah love you ya goof".

Rainbow laid down on Applejack. The blonde wrapped her arms around her. The younger began to read to her. She had so much excitement in her voice. Applejack smiled as she listened.

Applejack was kinda glad they went to the mall. Rainbow got a book. Nothing is more exciting to Rainbow Dash than getting a new book.

Maybe they should go to the mall more often. Except, no buying clothes unless needed. Only books and food...... and maybe a gift or two for a certain someone in the future. Applejack couldn't help it. Rainbow was spoiled. Good greif.
