Applejack woke up to a sight that brought a smile to her face. Rainbow Dash was still clinging to her, sleeping peacefully. Her little ears twitched every so often, her tail wrapped around her own leg.

Applejack couldn't stop smiling. She could stay here all day. It'd be rude to wake Rainbow up after all that happened last night. She deserved a good sleep.

Suddenly a grumble made Applejack groaned. Great. She was hungry.

Applejack rolled her head to the left. She looked at the digital clock on her night stand.

11:23am

She should probably make breakfast. But what would Rainbow ear for breakfast?? She'd have to call Rainbow's nutritionist.

Applejack sighed. She had to wake Rainbow up in order to get up. She didn't want. She really didn't, but had no choice.

Applejack gently shook Rainbow.

"Rainbow. Rainbow, wake up."

Rainbow grumbled in her sleep, moving a little, but didn't wake up. Okay. She's a heavy sleeper.

Applejack tried again.

"Rainbow. Wake up, RD. Time ta get up."

Rainbow breathed in. Her eyes groggily opened. She whined, as rolled her head over do her face was completely buried in Applejack's shirt. She said something, causing a vibrating feeling from her mouth.

After a moment, she lifted her head. She looked up and saw Applejack. She blinked a few times, a little confused as to where she was. It was so adorable.

Applejack chuckled.

"Good mornin."

Rainbow smiled sleepily.

"Hi." She laid her head back down.

"You're comfy. Like a teddy bear."

Applejack giggled. "Cmon, Rainbow. Ah gotta go make breakfast."

At the mention of food, Rainbow was wide awake. She looked up at the blonde teen, eyes wide open.

"Food??."

Applejack nodded. "Yup. Food."

Rainbow smiled. She sat up, getting on her knees.

"Food." She demanded, her smile growing wider.

Applejack sat up, grinning.

"Yeah. Ah gotta make us some breakfast. What kind of things do ya eat??."

Rainbow thought for a moment.

"Um....... mostly dog food".

Applejack's eyes widened. "Dog food??."

How could they force her to eat dog food?? That was disgusting.

Rainbow shrugged. "It wasn't too bad. But it left a bad taste in my mouth after I ate. But sometimes they give me bacon and mushy stuff."

Mushy stuff??

Applejack raised an eyebrow.

"Ya mean oatmeal??."

Rainbow nodded. "Yeah. Oatmeal."

Applejack thought. Rainbow seemed to eat a lot of meat. Then again, she was part wolf. Explains a lot.

"Well. How about some French toast or regular toast, spam, sausages, and eggs??."

Rainbow looked at her with wide eyes.

"Really? All that??." She asked, excitement in her voice.

Applejack shrugged. "Sure. Why not??. Let's go brush our teeth and take a shower. Mah friends are comin' over today."

Rainbow tilted her head.

"Friends??. Why??."

"They wanna meet cha." Applejack smiled. "Don't worry. They're really nice."

Rainbow smiled. "Okay."

Applejack got out of bed.

"Cmon. Ah'll show ya yir bathroom and give ya a towel. You take shower, right??."

Rainbow shook her head.

"I take baths."

Applejack nodded. "Alright. Ah'll help ya get the bath ready."

Rainbow hopped out of bed. She took Applejack's without so much as a second thought. Applejack didn't seem to mind as led Rainbow towards her bathroom.

Rainbow stuck her tongue out in concentration. She was careful and made sure to color in the lines. Rainbow had found a random crayon and a piece of blank paper and decided to draw on it. Rainbow wasn't an artist or anything, but she still loved to color and draw whatever she came up with on the spot.

Rainbow was laying on the floor of her room, scribbling in random pictures in red crayon.

Rainbow suddenly heard a sound downstairs. One of her ears twitched. It was the front door. The front door wasn't that far away from the staircase and so Rainbow was able to hear it open when her bedroom door was open.

She heard faint voices coming from downstairs. She listened, waiting to see what they would do. They got closer.

"Rainbow!!." She heard Applejack call.

Rainbow got up. She slowly made her way out of her room and down the short hallway to the staircase. She peeked around the wall, looking down the stairs. She saw Applejack along with four other girls standing at the bottom of the stairs. Applejack smiled when she saw Rainbow.

"Rainbow." She said. "Ah want cha ta meet mah friends. C'mere."

Rainbow stared at them for a moment, unsure if it was a good idea. Applejack probably sensed her uneasiness and began to climb the stairs. She went up to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash shrunk away, hiding further behind the wall.

Applejack reached the top of the stairs. She looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Hey. It's okay. Ah'll be right there with ya. Ah won't leave ya alone with them if ya don't want me to."

Rainbow stared at her, fiddling nervously with her jacket long sleeve. She didn't like meeting new people. They always looked at her funny because of how she looked. Some called her a freak.

But she looked into Applejack's eyes. She saw only compassion and understanding and protectiveness. Rainbow somehow knew and believed that Applejack wouldn't let any harm come to her. Rainbow felt safe with her.

Rainbow bit her lip.

"Up??."

Applejack chuckled. She nodded. She turned around and bent her knees.

"C'mon."

Rainbow climbed on to her back. Applejack had little trouble giving her a piggy back ride down the stairs. The two went down to where the girls were waiting. When they reached the bottom, Applejack grinned. She put Rainbow down. The hybrid girl stood close to her, basically clinging to her arm.

"Girls. This is Rainbow Dash."

Applejack looked over her shoulder at Rainbow.

"Rainbow. These are mah friends. Twilight, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, and Fluttershy."

Applejack pointed at each girl as she said their names. Rainbow matches their names to the faces. The girls seemed friendly enough. They didn't look like the kind of people to hurt someone.

The girl named Fluttershy stepped forward. She had long, pale pink hair, pale yellow skin, and a kind smile.

"Hi, Rainbow." She said softly, her voice sounding soothing to Rainbow.

"I'm Fluttershy. It's very nice to meet you. You don't have to be a afraid. I work hurt you."

Rainbow watched her silently.

Fluttershy looked at Applejack then back at Rainbow Dash.

"C'mon, Rainbow." She urges lightly. "I won't hurt you. I wanna see you completely."

Applejack looked at Rainbow. She wrapped an arm around Rainbow's softly pushing her forward a step. Rainbow looked at Applejack. Applejack gave a her a reassuring smile.

Rainbow looked at Fluttershy who was waiting patiently. Rainbow cautiously got down on all fours. She shyly crept up to Fluttershy. Fluttershy knelt down on the floor. She held out a hand. Rainbow Dash leaned over and sniffed her hand. She then looked up at her. She seemed to be examining her. She looked at Fluttershy's hand. She then ducked her head under Fluttershy's hand.

The girls watched as Fluttershy began to pet Rainbow's head, scratching behind her ears. Rainbow grin in delight.

"Ah guess she likes you." Applejack chuckled, hands in her hips.

Fluttershy cooed.

"She's so cute. I can't believe hybrids are real. Can she talk??."

Applejack nodded. "When she wants ta. Yeah."

Rainbow went around to check out the others. She let them pet her and ask her questions.

Fluttershy even brought a bone for Rainbow to chew on. Applejack knew Fluttershy's large knowledge of animals would come in handy some day.

Applejack watched Rainbow interact with the girls. She smiled seeing Rainbow come out of her shell. It was nice to see her being playful and energetic again.

But as time went on, Rainbow began to slink back to Applejack's side. Applejack then decided they should something fun.

"How about we head to the mall now??." She suggested. "We can buy Rainbow some clothes and stuff she'll need."

The girls agreed.

"Here." Applejack said, taking off a a beanie she was wearing.

She put it on Rainbow's head, covering her ears.

"We don't need anyone starin' at cha like weirdos."

Rainbow grinned.

"Cmon." Applejack said.

They got up from the floor. Rainbow grabbed Applejack's handas the walked out of the house to Rarity's car. Rainbow and Applejack didn't notice the others smiling at each other knowingly.
