Since I started school yesterday, I thought of this idea. Enjoy :)

Applejack sighed quietly. She stared boredly at the teacher. The woman was talking about angles and angle of elevation or something like that. Applejack could only hear white nouse as she tuned her out.

Applejack looked in front of her. She looked at her friend Pinkie Pie who was sitting in front of her. The pink haired teen was sitting sideways so she could easily look at Applejack. Pinkie had an equally bored expression on her face.

The two had a silent, mental conversation. No words needed to be said.

They were bored.

Suddenly Applejack felt a tap on shoulder. Applejack lifted her head and turned around.

Fluttershy was sitting behind her.

"I heard that we're getting a new student this week", Fluttershy whispered.

Hm. A new kid. Interesting. Applejack looked around the room. Half the class was either asleep or not paying attention. A few girls that Applejack couldn't stand were whispering among themselves as usual.

Yup. Everything was as it should be.

Suddenly the sound of the door opening made the room go silent. A girl Applejack had never seen before walked in.

Applejack couldn't help but check her out.

"Who's she??", she whispered to Pinkie.

Pinkie leaned towards her, not taking her eyes off the girl.

"That's the new girl", she loudly whispered.

Applejack eyed the teen. She had light blue skin. She was slim yet fit looking. She had long straight hair that had all the colors of the rainbow in it.

The teacher smiled at her.

"Can I help you??", she asked.

The girl nodded and walked up to her. She handed the teacher a paper. The teacher quickly read it and nodded.

"You're the new student I was told about".

The woman looked at the class.

"Everyone. We have a new student at our school. Her name is Rainbow Dash".

The girl looked around shyly.

Applejack looked at her friends.

"Ya'll thinkin' what Ah'm thnkin??".

"Make a new friend??", Pinkie guessed.

Applejack gave a nod, grinning.

"Yup".

She looked back at the front.

"So Rainbow", the teacher said. "You wanna tell them class a bit about yourself??".

Rainbow shook her head, clutching her backpack strap. The teacher smiled softly.

"Alright. Go take a seat next to Applejack".

The teacher looked her way.

"Applejack. Raise your hand. You guys can just finish your work for the rest of class".

The teacher walked to her desk.

Applejack raised her hand up high. Rainbow looked her way. Applejack and the girls smiled as kindly as possible. Applejack lowered her hand once Rainbow started walking in her direction.

Applejack lazily leaned back in her chair. Rainbow took a seat beside her, hanging her bag on the back of her chair.

"Hi", Applejack said quietly. "As you already know, ah'm Applejack but some people call me AJ".

Applejack pointed at Fluttershy.

"That's Fluttershy".

Fluttershy smiled at Rainbow.

"Hi".

Rainbow gave a small smile at her.

"I'm Pinkie Pie", Pinkie spoke up, kneeling on her chair, leaning on her desk. She had a huge smile on her face, like always.

Rainbow looked at her. Pinkie then opened her mouth.

"Where are you from??. Did you move here to Canterlot or just transferred schools??. Your hair super colorful. Did you dye it that color??. If you did what was your original hair color??. Are you a tomboy?? You don't seem like a girly girl but I could be wrong. It's really nice to meet you. I'm so excited to have a new person in school. We like meeting new people. Do you like skittles??. I love skittles. Does your hair smell like skittles??. It looks like it does. Wouldn't that be really cool-".

Pinkie stopped when Applejack placed a hand over her mouth. The blonde teen gave her a look.

"Pinkie", she said. "Shut up. You didn't give er a chance ta talk".

The two looked at Rainbow Dash. She had an amused look on her face.

"It's okay", she said.

Finally. The girl speaks.

"I like you guys already".

The three friends were glad Rainbow didn't think they were a bunch of weirdos.

Rainbow felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around. She turned back around and faced foward, a freaked out look on her face. She was not happy. Applejack frowned.

"What's wrong??".

"Hey Rainbow Crash".

Dumbbell got up. He stood beside Rainbow who was staring at her desk, not looking away. She was as still as a statue.

Applejack knew something was up.

Dumbbell smirked.

"I didn't think I'd see you again, Crash".

She said and did nothing.

"I know you can hear me, Crash", Dumbbell said.

He lightly pushed her. Rainbow shifted a little. Applejack got into defensive mode.

"Leave her alone", she said.

Dumbbell ignored Applejack. He continued to pester Rainbow and try to get her to acknowledge him. Still nothing. Applejack was about fed up with him, but said nothing because she thought he'd get bored if Rainbow didn't do or say anything.

"Fine", he said. "Then I guess I'll just do this".

In a flash, Dumbbell grabbed Rainbow's chair and pulled it out from underneath her. Rainbow was sprawled out on the floor.

Snickers were heard from other students. Rainbow sat up, obviously horribly embarrassed.

Applejack went to help her. Dumbbell grabbed Rainbow Dash and yanked her up.

"Now do you hear me??", he asked.

That was it.

Applejack marched up to him. She pounded her fist on his arm, making him release Rainbow. Applejack got in between them, getting in Dumbbell's face.

"Don't touch her", she growled.

"Um what's going on here??".

The two teens turned their heads to see the teacher standing up.

Applejack pointed at Dumbbell.

"Him. He's bothering Rainbow".

"Applejack", the woman said. "Please sit down".

"No", Applejack said. "He needs ta leave Rainbow Dash alone. He just pulled her chair out from underneath her and is touchin her when she obviously doesn't want him near her. That's considered bullyin' and ah won't let him do to her".

"Rainbow", the teacher said. "Is that true??".

Rainbow looked at her and nodded.

"Dumbbell", the teacher said in a serious tone. "Come with me to the office".

The guy was about to protest but the teacher cut him off.

"Now".

Dumbbell glared at Rainbow before getting his bag and walking out. Soon it was silent. Applejack looked at Rainbow.

"Are you okay??".

Rainbow sighed anxiously. She nodded and sat down.

"You didn't have to do that", she said to Applejack.

Applejack sat down.

"It's no problem at all. He knows better than ta mess with someone while we're around".

Rainbow raised an eyebrow as if to ask a question.

"We're kinda really popular", Pinkie said. "Nobody messes with us or any of our friends. If they do, they get in trouble".

"Really??", Rainbow asked.

"Really", Applejack said

Rainbow looked at her. Applejack smiled at her

"So don't chu worry. You'll be safe with me".

Rainbow looked away. "Thanks, Applejack".

Applejack could have sworn she was blushing. Rainbow looked at her.

"So", Applejack said. "Tell us about yirself".

Rainbow sat back and sighed in thought.

"Well", she said. "Um........ I'm sixteen and an orphan. No pity please".

The girls were shocked.

"Well that's one thing we have in common already", Applejack said.

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"Your parents are.......".

Applejack nodded. "Yeah".

"Oh. I'm sorry", Rainbow said. "Technically my only mom died but my dad never liked me and he's in jail so in a way he's dead to me".

Applejack's face fell. "Oh. Well if ya ever need ta talk about it or get somethin' off yir chest that's botherin' ya about that or if you're just upset about it".

She shrugged. "Talk ta me".

She caught what she said. "Ah mean us".

Applejack blushed, laughing nervously. "Talk ta US. Not just me. There's more than one of us".

Applejack looked away. She mentally kicked herself.

Way to go, brainiac.

"I know what you mean", Rainbow said. "We'll see where our friendship goes".

Applejack looked at her. Rainbow and her stared at eachother for what seemed like forever. Suddenly the bell rang. Rainbow jumped in fright.

She placed a hand over her heart as an instict.

"Was that the bell??".

Applejack laughed and stood up.

"Yup. Let me see yir schedule".

Rainbow stood up, grabbing her bag. She gave her schedule to Applejack. The teen read over it as the four girls walked out of the room.

"Great", she said, giving her back her schedule. "You have a class with at least one of us".

Rainbow smiled. "Cool".

"Next we have lunch", Pinkie said. "You'll get to meet the rest of our friends like Rarity and Spike and Twilight and Sunset Shimmer".

"They'll drive ya crazy", Applejack said. "But then you'll get use to it if ya give them some time".

Rainbow giggled. "I can be pretty loud once I get comfortable. I think I'll fit right in".

Rainbow gave a silent nod. Applejack looked at her as they walked down the hall.

"So uh".

Rainbow looked at her. Applejack shrugged. She took out a pen.

"Want my number??".

Rainbow smiled. "Uh okay".

They stopped. Rainbow gave Applejack her arm. Applejack wrote her number on her skin as neat as she could write on a human being.

Once she finished, she put her pen away.

"There you go, your highness".

Rainbow looked at the number, smirking at her choice of words.

"Oh haha very funny", she said sarcastically.

"Thanks", Applejack said proudly. "Ah try mah best".

Rainbow lighly pushed her, giggling.

She glanced up at Applejack. She leaned in close.

"If this is your way of flirting", she whispered. "You're bad at it".

Applejack blushed. "Well um ah wouldn't call it flirting. Ah just um- Ah'm just being mahself ah guess".

Rainbow smirked. "Sure, miss flirt with the new girl".

"Well ah can't help that you're cute", Applejack blurted out.

She froze. Rainbow looked at her.

"Thanks. I don't even try".

She flipped her hair sassily, batting her eyelashes.

"Being this good looking is exhausting, you know".

The girls snickered and laughed. Applejack grinned.

"Ah'm sure it is".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "C'mon. I'm hungry".

She, Pinkie, and Fluttershy kept walking. Applejack watched her for a moment.

Applejack laughed inside. This was going to be an interesting rest of the year.

So yeah. This probably sucked but I tried. I'll try to update again either after school today or tomorrow. But I'm going to try try and update daily again.
