"Alright. Here we go".

Rarity put in the dvd. She walked back to the other girls.

The girls sat together on the large sofa, the popcorn bowl on Twilight's lap, stacks of pizza boxes and a 2 liter pepsi bottle on the coffee table in front of them. The movie started, the room dark except for the glow of the tv screen.

"What movie is this??", Applejack said, tossing a piece of popcorn into her mouth.

"I forget", Pinkie said. "It's about a girl who gets abandoned at an orphanage and she grows up and then she gets adopted. You'll see. I love this movie".

Applejack turned her head. She saw Rainbow sitting by herself on the floor.

"Rainbow".

Rainbow looked at her, raising her head.

"You want pizza??".

Rainbow shook her head.

"No thank you, Mistress".

Wait what??. Mistress??. Applejack raised an eyebrow. The other girls looked at Rainbow as well. It was quiet for a second. Applejack gave Rainbow a questioning look. Rainbow wasn't fazed at all by what she had just said. She simply looked back at the screen, ignoring the girls as they still stared at her. Applejack turned her head back to the tv.

Well that was weird.

Applejack yawned. She turned her head to look at Pinkie who was snoring away on her left shoulder.

She gently shook her.

"Pinkie", she said.

Pinkie jumped awake, eyes wide and alert.

"I'M UP!!", she yelled.

Applejack giggled. She looked at the other girls.

"I loved that movie", Twilight said stretching.

"Me too", Fluttershy said. "It was nice".

Applejack let a tired yawn.

"Yeah. What did you think, Rainbow??".

No response.

"Rainbow??".

Applejack looked back at where Rainbow was. She smiled.

"Aww", Fluttershy squealed. "Look girls".

Rainbow was curled up on the floor, fast asleep. Her ears were pressed against her head, her tail wrapped around her.

Applejack stood up. She looked at the sleeping hybrid girl. She couldn't help but think that she was cute. Watching her, Applejack had to admit. She was beautiful too. She crossed her arms and looked at Fluttershy.

"She's a cutie, ain't she??".

Fluttershy nodded. She crawled over to where Rainbow was sleeping. She watched the sleeping hybrid girl, fawning over her.

"She's so cute with her little ears and tail", Fluttershy whispered.

The others cleaned up, putting the leftovers in the fridge and throwing out the paper plates they used.

Applejack walked over to Rainbow. She knelt down beside the girl. She gently shook her to wake her up. Rainbow jumped awake. She saw Applejack and sat up immediately.

"Sorry. I fell asleep", she said as if she shouldn't have done it.

Applejack smiled. "It's okay".

Rainbow looked at her for a moment, her body tense. She looked as if she was waiting for Applejack to do something.

"You're not mad?", she asked.

Applejack frowned and shook her head.

"No. Why would ah??. Ya didn't do anythin wrong".

Rainbow looked at the other girls then back at Applejack then at the floor. She shrugged.

"I don't know", she mumbled.

Applejack didn't quite hear her because she had said it so quietly.

"What was that??".

Rainbow's eyes widened. She backed away, her ears flattening.

"N-Nothing. I'm sorry, Mistress".

Applejack was getting concerned now. Rainbow thought she was in trouble.

"Rainbow", Applejack said. "It's alright. You're not in trouble. Ah promise. Ah just didn't hear what cha said the first time since ya mumbled".

Rainbow just shook her head, not saying a word. Applejack decide not to press it. This was Rainbow's first day with her and she didn't want her to go to bed feeling like she did something wrong.

"Well you didn't do anythin wrong", she said. "And we're not mad at you did anythin. Ah promise and ah never tell a lie. Okay??".

Rainbow nodded. Applejack smiled.

"You tired??".

Rainbow nodded again.

"We all are too, so let's head upstairs".

The girls headed upstairs, Rainbow staying close to Applejack. They all got ready for bed. Applejack let Rainbow wear some of her clothes. Rainbow write sweatpants again a sweater that was a little too big on her skinny frame. It hung on her loosely, the arms going past her hands.

"How do I look?".

Applejack looked at her. She froze. Rainbow was the most adorable thing she had ever seen in her life. She had to fight the urge to grab Rainbow and squish her and baby talk her to death.

Rainbow looked at her, biting her lip nervously. Applejack realized she hadn't said anything back. She blushed, looking away.

"You look nice", she said.

Rainbow looked at the floor, playing with the sleeve.

"Thank you, Mistress and thanks for letting me borrow these clothes".

Rarity popped her head into the room.

"Tomorrow we're going clothes shopping for you".

Rainbow's eyes widened.

"For me??".

"Of coarse", Rarity said, before walking away.

Applejack smiled at her.

"So, Rainbow. Can ah ask ya a few questions??".

Rainbow nodded.

"How old are you??".

Rainbow played with the blanket on her new bed.

"Sixteen".

Applejack smiled. "Cool. Ah'm seventeen. We're close".

Rainbow didn't say anything. Applejack bit her lip.

"Um.......... you like it here so far??".

Rainbow shrugged. "It's nice I guess. You're not a bad owner so far".

Applejack frowned. "What do ya mean owner??".

Rainbow looked up at her.

"I'm your pet, remember??. So I'm your pet".

Applejack thought of that for a bit.

"Oh right".

Applejack looked around. She had a ton of questions left but decided not to ask them yet. This was Rainbow's first day here and she didn't want to make her talk about personal stuff when they barely knew eachother.

"Well um".

Applejack stood up, smoothing her pijama pants. She smiled at Rainbow.

"Ah'll be up late with the girls, so if you need anythin, come find me next door. Then bathroom is right across the hall, so you'll have no trouble findin it".

Rainbow nodded. She seemed very uneasy, her eyes flickering around, her hands fiddling together nervously.

Applejack asked, "You need anythin??".

Rainbow shook her head. "No, Mistress".

Applejack was about to ask about that. It was strange that she kept calling her Mistress. But she decided not to.

"Well goodnight, want the door open??".

Rainbow nodded. "Yes please, Mistress".

Applejack smiled at her once more before turning and walking out of the room, leaving the door, open a few inches. She decided to leave the hallway light on. She walked into her bedroom where the others were. She shut the door.

She suddenly had a sense that something was missing. She looked around the room. All her friends were there, so she didn't know why she felt this way. Applejack shrugged and brushed it off. She walked to the bed and sat beside Pinkie.

"I like Rainbow", Fluttershy said. "She's so sweet and we'll mannered. Take good care of her, Applejack".

Applejack laughed quietly.

"Don't worry. Ah will".
