Applejack was a dork for mistletoes. She used it every chance she got. She may or may not abuse its power against Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow hummed a tune as she waited for the microwave to hit zero. Her stomach was growling and boy was she hungry. Rainbow was sitting on the countertop, her legs hanging off the edge.

Suddenly she saw Applejack walk in. Rainbow noticed immediately that she was hiding something behind her back. Applejack walked up to her smiling. She leaned against the counter. Rainbow grinned and wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck lazily resting her arms on the blonde's shoulders.

"What's up??", she asked.

Applejack grinned. She extended her arm up over their heads. Rainbow followed it with her eyes. She looked up. Her eyes widened. There in Applejack's hand was a mistletoe.

She looked back down at Applejack.

"Umm. Why do you have that??".

Applejack shrugged, smirking.

"Found it and ah have it fir this particular reason".

Applejack leaned in and kissed her. Rainbow rolled her eyes before kissing back. The girls pulled away. Rainbow laughed lightly.

"You're such a dork".

Applejack shrugged. "It worked didn't it??".

Rainbow playfully shoved her. Suddenly a loud beeping sounded through the kitchen. She smiled.

"My hot pockets is ready", she sing songed hopping off the counter.

Rainbow groaned. There was nothing good on tv today. The teen was laying lazily on the couch, her feet prompt up on the arm of the sofa, a pillow under her head.

Rainbow flicked through channel after channel. Boring, sappy, inappropriate and Applejack would kill her if she'd be caught watching that, boring, ew smart people channel.

Rainbow dropped the remote onto her lap and groaned dramatically loud. Rainbow looked up at the ceiling. One Mississippi, two Mississippi, three - Applejack. Applejack came into view. She leaned down over the back of the couch, grinning. The blonde teen looked down at her, resting her arms on her the sofa.

"Heard ja groanin' all the way from the other room", she said. "What's wrong??".

Rainbow sighed. "There's nothing good to watch. I'm bored", she whined.

Applejack grinned at Rainbow Dash. She held out a mistletoe. Rainbow raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you have that??", she asked.

Applejack shrugged. "It's win'er. Why not??".

Applejack leaned down. She hover above Rainbow's face. Theirs lips almost touching. Applejack smirked.
Rainbow felt a blush creep onto her face at the closeness. She wanted to look away but couldn't. Applejack was too close for her to see anything else.
Applejack chuckled lowly.

"What's the matter Dash??", she teased. "Can't handle a lil mistletoe??".

Rainbow gulped. "Um.... no".

Applejack smirked. "Then what's the problem??".

Rainbow sighed. "I'm to lazy to make the first move. My neck will to hurt and then I'll get a backache. That's doin too much".

Applejack snickered. "Well. Ah guess, ah'll have ta do everythin".

Applejack leaned down, closing the space between them. Theirs lips touched. Rainbow closed her eyes, tilting her head up a little. Applejack pulled away after a few seconds. Rainbow was now blushing pink.

Applejack saw her face and giggled.

"Someone's a bit flustered".

Rainbow brought her hands up to her face. She rolled off the sofa onto the soft carpet floor. She laid there, listening to her girlfriend laughing, totally flustered and embarrassed.

"Leave me to die", she groaned.

Applejack smirked. She looked at the small mistletoe in her hand. This thing was more powerful than she thought. Hmmm. With great power comes great responsibility. Applejack glanced down at Rainbow Dash. She smirked. Oh she was gunna have fun with this.

Applejack and Rainbow Dash sat there in the silence. The girls were out in their porch. Rainbow had wanted to watch the sunrise on that cold winter morning. Both of them were bundled in sweaters and hats and warm gloves.

Rainbow sighed with a smile on her face. She looked out into the darkness. It was only about 6 in the morning. She had woken Applejack not too long ago, asking to watch the sun rise.

Applejack had just agreed and went out with her. The blonde was leaning against the house wall, hands in her pockets, watching her girlfriend.

In the distance she could see the faint light of the sun coming up to warm the cold atmosphere. Applejack pushed off the wall. She stepped up to where Rainbow Dash was standing. She snaked her hands around Rainbow's waist, leaning on her gently.

Rainbow smiled when she felt her leaning on her. She kept her eyes on the wide distance In minutes a beautiful sunrise was there in the distance. It was breathtaking.

"It's so beautiful".

"Hey", Applejack whispered in her ear.

"Look up".

Rainbow was confused. Why would she do that??. But none the less, she did as told. Lookimg up she giggled. A mistletoe hung up by Applejack's hand. Rainbow rolled her eyes, smiling. She turned arouns.

She looked up at Applejack.

"Well", she said. "Can't break the mistletoe tradition".

Applejack smirked. "Nope".

Rainbow leaned in. The girls gently kissed, giggling and smiling into the kiss. They broke apart after a while.
Rainbow smiled.

"I can't feel my mouth anymore", she said.

Applejack chuckled. "C'mere you. Ah'll warm those up".

Rainbow giggled, being pulled into another kiss. Applejack wrapped her strong arms around her waist. Rainbow placed her hands on Applejack's upper arms gently. The girls finally pulled away, out of breath.

Frost came with each exhale. Applejack smirked. Rainbow smirked back.

"You must love using that mistletoe to your advantage, don't cha??", she asked.

Applejack grinned. Yes, very much.

"Maybe. But you ain't gon do anythin' about it".

Rainbow put on a thinking face.

"Hmm nope. Don't got a problem with it either".

Applejack leaned in and kissed her nose.

"Good", she said. "Cuz until there is no more snow in Canterlot and Winter is over, Ah'm usin' this thang everyday".

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"I think you may be abusing your mistletoe power".

Applejack shrugged. "Ahh don't. Now you're mah mistletoe slave. Now kiss me".

Rainbow grinned. "Yes oh great and powerful mistletoe master".

Rainbow laughed before leaning. Before their lips could touch, she broke free and hurried inside. Applejack was shocked. She stood there for a moment. Then she ran inside, shutting the door.

"Oh. Now you're gunna get it", she said laughing. "When ah find you, you're gunna get it".

"Come and get me", Rainbow challenged, throwing her jacket and hat.

With that took off running. Applejack went after her laughing. Applejack took off her jacket and hat, throwing it on a chair. The girls ran throughout the house, laughing and screaming. Applejack had the mistletoe in hand.

"Kissy kissy!!", she shouted, giggling.

Rainbow smiled and ran from her.

"No. You'll kiss me to death. I shall not be your kissing servant. That's not even a thing", she called over her shoulder.

Rainbow ran into the living room when Applejack caught her. Rainbow shrieked. Applejack wrapped her arms around her waist, firmly. Rainbow giggled uncontrollably.

She turned and faced Applejack.

"Alright. I surrender. You win this battle".

Applejack rolled her eyes.

"Dramatic".

Rainbow smiled. "Got it from you".

Applejack chuckled. "C'mere Dash".

Applejack pulled Rainbow onto a soft kiss. Rainbow wrapped her arms around Applejack's neck, leaning into the kiss. Applejack placed her hands on her hips. She slowly pulled away, grinning slightly.

She held up the mistletoe.

"This thing is a gift from God".

Rainbow laughed. "Oh really??".

Applejack smirked. "Maybe ah'll use it more often".

Rainbow rolled her eyes. "Oh Celestia, please don't".

Applejack grinned. "Ah will use it as often as ah please. Ah'm the master of the mistletoe an you don't have a say in it peasant".

Rainbow giggled. "Oh I'm the peasant??. I thought I was your queen".

Applejack smirked. "Nope. Yir mah kissing servant. Ah'm the queen".

Rainbow raised an eyebrow, giving her a look. It was quiet. Applejack sighed.

"Fine. You're the queen".

Rainbow smirked. "Good. That mistletoe makes you forget your priorities. Keep that in mind. That thing is the root of all evil".

Applejack laughed. She kissed her cheek.

"You sure??".

Applejack planted little kisses on Rainbow's cheek and jawline. Rainbow giggled.

"Well. Maybe it's not so bad", she said. "It does have it's good things".

Applejack smirked. She held Rainbow by her waist.

"So that means.....".

Rainbow sighed. "Okay. Whatever, dork. Fine. You're the queen of the dorky mistletoes. Glad to be of service to you your dorky majesty".

Applejack grinned, victoriously. "Glad we see heart ta-. Wait a second".

Applejack didn't have the mistletoe. She looked at Rainbow. The girls broke from her grip and ran away laughing. Applejack gasped. She ran out of the room.

"Give it back!!".
